Nitric acid and ammonia leaked from the Thatcher chemical plant in Buckeye, Arizona on Friday night

Emergency officials are on the scene in Buckeye, Arizona after a chemical leak at a plant close to a residential area on Friday evening.

Footage posted on social media shows an orange cloud spreading from the Thatcher chemical manufacturing facility in Buckeye, in close proximity to a residential area.

It’s reported that the chemicals leaking from the facility were nitric acid and ammonia, both of which are hazardous to human health. The visible gas is likely to have been nitric acid.

A temporary shelter-in-place order has now been lifted.

The cause of the leak is unknown at this time.

“It’s time to restore the rule of law,” according to Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has announced that he will be suing the State of the New York over its prosecution of former president Donald Trump.

AG Bailey made the announcement in a post on Twitter on Friday.

“I will be filing suit against the State of New York for their direct attack on our democratic process through unconstitutional lawfare against President Trump.

“It’s time to restore the rule of law.”

In a follow-up post, Bailey labelled New York DA Alvin Bragg a “rogue prosecutor who is trying to take a presidential candidate off the campaign trail.”

Bailed added that the prosecution “sabotages Missourians’ right to a free and fair election.”

In an appearance on Fox, in which he discussed the decision to sue at greater length, Bailey said, “He [Bragg] is self-interested in this case because President Trump is a political opponent of the people Alvin Bragg is backing.”

Bailey also noted that Bragg’s prosecution of Trump is just the latest attack in a long campaign of lawfare that stretches right back to the moment Trump was elected in 2016.

A Chinese national will appear in court next month charged with espionage after being caught using a drone to photograph a naval shipyard in Virginia.

Shi Fengyun, 26, will appear in court next month charged with two violations of the Espionage Act: unlawful photography of military installations and the use of an aircraft to do so.

The incident took place in January, according to court documents. Shi, a student at the University of Minnesota, flew to Virginia and then rented a car and drove to Newport, where he used his drone to photograph the Newport News Shipbuilding shipyard, which is used to construct nuclear submarines and Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carriers.

Shi’s activities were discovered when he got the drone caught in a tree and sought assistance from a local resident. The resident quickly grew suspicious and took photos of Shi, his ID and the car he had rented, before contacting the Newport News Police Department.

Shi was questioned by the local police department at the scene. He was advised to contact the local fire department to help collect his drone, but instead he left the scene. The next day, the resident collected the drone himself and it was then seized by the FBI.

The FBI discovered photographs and videos of US naval vessels on the drone’s memory card. On the day of Shi’s visit, three submarines—the USS Boise, Columbus and Montana—were at the shipyard.

“Naval aircraft carriers have classified and sensitive systems throughout the carriers,” the court documents state.

“The nuclear submarines present on that date also have highly classified and sensitive Navy Nuclear Propulsion Information… and those submarines even in the design and construction phase are sensitive and classified.”

His trial had been scheduled to begin on Friday, but will now take place on 8 July.

According to The Epoch Times, Shi refers to himself as a “startup manager” on his LinkedIn page. He previously studied at China’s Jilin University. He also worked for China’s State Grid Corp., a state-owned enterprise.

In recent months there has been growing alarm about repeated attempts by foreign nationals to gain entry to secure military installations in the US. Two Jordanian men were detained for attempting to ram their way into a Marine base in Quantico, Virginia, in what may have been a “dry run” for a terrorist attack.

Vehicles have attempted to breach gates at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek–Fort Story, in Virginia, Naval Base San Diego and the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms, California. The attempted breach at the Air Ground Combat Center involved a Chinese national.

Cuomo told Bill Maher that Biden is not running a good campaign

Disgraced former New York governor Andrew Cuomo believes Joe Biden is running his presidential campaign poorly, because he’s trying to “hide” his frailty and cognitive decline.

Cuomo made the remarks in an appearance on Bill Maher’s show Real Time on Friday.

Maher asked Cuomo about whether Biden was “running a good campaign.” “What would you do to run it better?”

“I don’t think he’s running an especially good campaign, frankly,” Cuomo replied.

“I think there’s a big question that he has to answer which is about his age, viability, etc. I think the only way you answer that is by getting out there, and letting people see you. That’s the only way you put it to rest. I don’t think you can hide from that, Bill.”

On social media, observers noted that the usually combative Real Time audience were completely silent as Cuomo delivered his answer.

Cuomo also used his appearance to blast the politicization of the justice system under the Biden regime, and the administration’s record on immigration.

“The trials in New York, 66% said the justice system is politicized,” said Cuomo.

“That’s why I think he’s not paying the same price for these verdicts. Because they believe it is political. You want to talk about a threat to democracy? When you have this country believe you’re playing politics with the justice system, and you’re trying to put people in jail or convict them for political reasons, then we have a real problem.”

Cuomo added that “If his name was not Donald Trump and if he wasn’t running for president… I’m telling you that case would have never been brought.”

On Biden’s immigration policy, Cuomo said it was “a mistake.”

“How you do it makes all the difference in the world. To just open the borders with no plan, you don’t know where they go, you don’t know who’s going to pay for them. Who did you even help?”

Cuomo criticized the governor and mayor of New York for both refusing to do more to “say no” to Biden’s open-door policy.

“Now we’re finding out 200k people later, you needed a plan, you needed to know what to do with these people.”
