Biden administration left with egg on their faces as they’ve been insisting for months that prices have been coming down as 2024 election closes in.

Biden Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen claimed that Americans realize prices are not going to come down anytime soon.

“I think most Americans know that prices are not likely to fall,” Yellen told ABC News on Monday. “It’s not the Fed’s (Federal Reserve) objective to push the level of prices back to where they were.”

Yellen’s admission totally demolishes the talking points peddled by the Biden regime in recent weeks.

Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and members of his campaign have been lying through their teeth about falling prices in recent remarks.

“Over the last year, prices are down on everyday items, from a gallon of gasoline to a gallon of milk, and folks are beginning to feel it,” Biden falsely claimed last week.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre likewise claimed that inflation has fallen back down to pre-pandemic levels, ignoring the fact that overall prices are up over 17% since Biden took office.

Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.), Biden’s campaign co-chair, also falsely claimed that prices are down.

“As inflation has come down, prices have come down as we’re beginning to see the impact in people’s pocketbooks of President Biden’s leadership,” Coons told CNN last week.

Biden is clearly playing politics with the immigration crisis.

The clash between the Biden Administration and Texas spilled out into the open last week, when the US Supreme Court ruled that Federal authorities could remove razor wire that Texas Governor Greg Abbott had been installing along the border with Mexico to stop the millions of illegal immigrants from crossing over to the United States.

This time Abbott did not back down. Instead, he issued a statement declaring that “an invasion under Article I, Section 10, Clause 3” of the US Constitution is underway and invoking “Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself.”

Here Governor Abbott answers an important question I brought up back in my 1988 US Presidential run: at what point do open borders and mass illegal immigration into the US become an “invasion,” which would grant governors the authority – and obligation – to take action?

By some estimates, more than six million illegal immigrants have crossed into the United States during the three years of the Biden Administration. These illegals likely mostly come from Mexico and Central America, but the fact is we have no idea how many of them may be arriving from, for example, the Middle East or other war-torn areas of the world. Last month even the New York Times wrote of the disaster on the US border that, “thousands of migrants are arriving at the border every day, trekking from the farthest reaches of the globe, from Africa to Asia to South America, driven by relentless violence, desperation and poverty.”

With the world awash in US weapons, it’s not hard to imagine the danger of the situation.

It is a problem that the Biden Administration is not willing to tackle, likely for political reasons particularly in an election year. And Biden found an ally in the US Supreme Court and Chief Justice John Roberts with the ruling that Federal agents may begin removing barriers set up by Texas authorities. But the intensity of the dispute became apparent this time when 25 Republican-led states issued statements in support of Texas.

It began to look like a showdown and many even began to invoke words like “secession.”

However, if the Biden Administration intends to use the Supreme Court ruling to take action against the Texas border barrier there are more immediate ways of defending the border. Rep. Thomas Massie took to Twitter last week to recount a meeting he and a group of US House Members had with the late Justice Antonin Scalia. At the breakfast, Massie wrote, Justice Scalia told the group to quit complaining about Supreme Court rulings and start defunding rulings they oppose.

As Massie explained in another Tweet, “Congress can render the 5-4 Supreme Court decision against Texas IRRELEVANT by simply refusing to fund Biden’s removal of border security measures.” Nullification through the “power of the purse” is an important tool given to Congress in the US Constitution and it could be easily exercised in this case.

Biden is clearly playing politics with the immigration crisis, claiming last week that as soon as Congress passes yet another immigration “reform” bill – one that includes $100 billion in military welfare for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan – he will take steps to address the Border. Congress should reject this blackmail and US states should continue to take measures – including nullification of the Supreme Court ruling – to protect against invasion.

Biden aides reportedly attempting to again leverage Swift’s star power in desperate last ditch effort to inject momentum behind 81-year-old Democrat.

Pop star Taylor Swift allegedly has the power to sway the 2024 presidential election.

According to a Newsweek poll, 18 percent of voters said they’d vote for whatever candidate the megastar singer endorses.

“18 percent of voters say they’re ‘more likely’ or ‘significantly more likely’ to vote for a candidate endorsed by Swift,” writes Newsweek.

Swift endorsed Joe Biden for president in 2020 over Donald Trump, and Biden aides are reportedly attempting to again leverage her star power in a desperate last-ditch effort to inject momentum behind the 81-year-old Democrat.

“That includes potential fundraising appeals, and even one idea that’s reportedly been floated in jest: sending Biden to a stop on Swift’s ‘Eras Tour,’ which is slated to return to the US in October, shortly before the election,” reports Business Insider.

“There’s also some evidence that a second Swift endorsement would be consequential,” notes Insider, adding that “More than 35,000 people registered to vote after Swift urged her Instagram followers to do so in September.”

Add to that the fact Swift is newly energized after her latest boyfriend Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis “Mr. Pfizer” Kelce‘s AFC Championship victory Sunday, after which she’ll remain in the national spotlight heading into Super Bowl LVIII. 

As noted by Human Events editor Jack Posobiec, while Swift at one time slammed globalist billionaire George Soros after he funded the purchase of her music, she has come full circle back to supporting the establishment.

At the time, she went full-on anti-Trump and became a TDS-suffering liberal.

Former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy voiced his concern the outcome of the Super Bowl could be pre-determined in a way to make Swift’s endorsement even more powerful.

“I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month. And I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall. Just some wild speculation over here, let’s see how it ages over the next 8 months,” Ramaswamy theorized.

Conservatives on X rejected the establishment’s effort to use Swift as a psy-op to sway the masses, with popular user @DC_Draino going as far as to say the “fate of the free world rests upon” the shoulders of the San Francisco 49ers who have a chance to smack down Swift’s team at the Super Bowl.

Now there are even calls to have Swift run as Biden’s VP.

“Forget Kamala Harris, put Taylor Swift on Joe Biden’s ticket,” reads an opinion piece at The Baltimore Sun.

“She should seriously consider running for vice president,” the author wrote. “You might think that this is a tongue-in-cheek recommendation, but think about it…Democracy could come to an end in America if Donald Trump is elected. Vice President Kamala Harris should step aside for the good of the nation. Putting Swift on the ticket will dramatically boost voter registration among Democrats.”

All of this comes on the heels of Swift making headlines last week after social media users created sexually graphic AI images of her, over which the artist may sue.

Known terrorists are easily able to enter and travel within the U.S. thanks to Biden’s criminal open-border policies.

Federal authorities caught a terrorist at the U.S. southern border then released him into the country — where he roamed freely for nearly a year until his arrest in Minnesota just days ago.

According to an internal federal memo obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation, the unnamed individual identified only as a member of the Somali terror group al-Shabaab was released into the U.S. after he was apprehended at the border near San Ysidro, California in March 2023.

The memo sent to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials explains the Terrorist Screening Center “deemed him a ‘mismatch’” after running his name through the terror watchlist.

But the memo states that on January 18, 2024, the Terrorist Screening Center “made a redetermination” that the individual was “a confirmed member of al-Shabaab” and was involved in the use, manufacture or transport of explosives or firearms.

This comes amid reports the Border Patrol caught 172 terror watchlist suspects attempting to illegally enter the U.S. during fiscal year 2023. 

The Border Patrol continued to catch another 50 illegal immigrants on the terror watchlist between October and December 2023.

“Many within the Biden administration, including Secretary Mayorkas, have repeatedly assured us that the vetting process at the border is comprehensive and complete,” John Fabbricatore, a retired ICE field director who now sits on the National Immigration Center for Enforcement’s (NICE) board, told the DCNF.

“However, we continue to witness alarming instances where terrorists are able to freely roam the United States for months after being released at the border before their criminal and terrorist histories come to light.”

The U.S. has considered Al-Shabaab a terrorist organization since 2008.

“Al-Shabaab has carried out bombings, including suicide attacks, and the group has assassinated Somali peace activists, international aid workers, journalists and numerous civil society figures, according to the National Counterterrorism Center. The terror group carried out a 2013 attack on Westgate mall in Nairobi, killing 67 people, and in 2017 killed hundreds of civilians in Mogadishu through two suicide attacks,” the DCNF reported.

A group of former high-level FBI officials warned Congress in a letter last week that Biden’s open-border policies are putting the American people in “imminent danger.”

“Military-aged men from across the globe, many from countries or regions not friendly to the United States are landing in waves on our soil by the thousands — not by splashing ashore from a ship or parachuting from a plane but rather by foot across a border that has been accurately advertised around the world as largely unprotected and with ready access granted,” the letter stated.

“It is stark to say so, but having a large number of young males now within our borders who could begin attacking gatherings of unarmed citizens, in imitation of 10/7 and at the behest of a foreign terror group, must be considered a distinct possibility,” the officials added.
