US Air Force Confirms Crash of Its F-16 Fighter Jet in South Korea

The pilot is reported to have ejected from the aircraft and was promptly rescued

The United States Air Force 8th Fighter Wing confirmed on Wednesday recent media reports that an American F-16 fighter jet fell into the sea near the western South Korean city of Gunsan, adding that the pilot successfully ejected and survived.

Earlier on Wednesday, South Korean news agency Yonhap reported, citing sources, that an F-16 crashed near Gunsan, while the pilot of the jet was rescued.

“An F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 8th Fighter Wing here experienced an in-flight emergency … The pilot ejected safely … He is conscious and was transported to a medical facility for assessment,” a statement, published on the website of Kunsan Air Base, read.

The commander of the 8th Fighter Wing, Col. Matthew Gaetke, said that the US is “very thankful to the Republic of Korea rescue forces and all of our teammates who made the swift recovery of our pilot possible.” He added that the next task for the US military in South Korea is to find the wreckage of the aircraft.

“Information on the cause of the in-flight emergency will not be made available until the conclusion of thorough safety and accident investigations,” the statement said.

Georgian men arrested for brutal murder of 21-year-old Pole in Wrocław’s old town

Two foreign men have been arrested following the brutal murder of a young man in Poland over the weekend, according to reports.

The horrifying attack unfolded at around 5 a.m. on Saturday in the city of Wrocław.

A 21-year-man was attacked during an altercation in the Old Town in the city center.

A pair of assailants wielding a knife and improvised weapon viciously beat and stabbed their victim, ultimately killing him, Tu Wrocław reports.

Police arrested two suspects, both identified as 23-year-old men from Georgia, a transcontinental country in the Caucasus region.

“Iusif K. and Elmar M. struck the injured Kacper S. in the head with their fists and using a knife, among other things, inflicting a number of injuries on the man, including head wounds and abdominal wounds, which, due to their severity, caused his death,” said Anna Placzek-Grzelak, spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Wrocław.

“One of the attackers had a knife in his hands, and he struck with both the blade and the handle.”

Wrocław police released photos of the suspects being taken into custody on Sunday. They reportedly face life in prison if convicted.

Government data reviewed by Kresy reportedly indicates that Ukrainians comprise the lion’s share of foreign criminals in Poland, but that Georgians commit crimes at a higher rate in proportion to their overall representation in the country.

Taxpayer-Funded Electric Busses Are Sitting Broken Down & Idled Across The Country

Taxpayer-Funded Electric Busses Are Sitting Broken Down & Idled Across The Country

The Denver Gazette highlighted issues in Colorado Springs, where Mountain Metropolitan Transit’s electric bus initiative faces setbacks.

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before, but the billions of dollars we’re spending to convert the country to “clean” energy in order to reduce carbon emissions is being allocated poorly. We know, government spending that isn’t efficient? We were shocked, too.

The latest example comes from the idea that our tax money should be responsible for instituting electric busses nationwide. As Fox News reported this week, the idea has been nothing short of a total disaster, with busses broken down and unused across the nation.

Fox cites several examples, including authorities in Asheville, North Carolina, who have encountered numerous difficulties with their electric bus fleet, leading to the idling of three out of five buses bought in 2018 for “millions”. These challenges stem from an assortment of software glitches, mechanical failures, and the unavailability of necessary spare parts.

In a similar vein, The Denver Gazette highlighted issues in Colorado Springs, where Mountain Metropolitan Transit’s electric bus initiative faces setbacks. Of the four e-buses procured in 2021, each costing $1.2 million primarily funded by governmental grants, two are currently non-operational.

One of the key reasons the electric bus industry isn’t evolving? The free market has already sent it a message by bankrupting its key supplier and largest e-bus manufacturer in the U.S., a company called Proterra.

It filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August, exacerbating issues for cities with their buses. Despite being promoted by President Biden and having former Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm on its board, the company faced other challenges (for example: a business model that doesn’t work even with massive government subsidies).

Asheville’s interim transportation director, Jessica Morriss, reported difficulties in obtaining parts post-bankruptcy.

Proterra’s problems predate the bankruptcy. In 2020, SEPTA in Philadelphia pulled its $24 million Proterra fleet, and in 2021, Foothill Transit in California reported over half of its electric buses idle. Other affected areas include Stockton, Reno, Louisville, where TARC’s entire fleet remained unused for two years, and Austin, where Capital Metro’s $46 million deal with Proterra faces delays.

Broward County, Florida’s experience was particularly telling, with their Proterra buses breaking down far more frequently than diesel counterparts, highlighting the challenges in transitioning to electric public transportation, the report says.

Now, Fox reports the company is trying to make a comeback. Jose Paul, Chief Revenue Officer of its new holding company, Phoenix Motorcars, discussed the company’s acquisition of Proterra’s “world-class technology” with FOX Business. He compared the evolution of electric vehicles to the early days of the Model T, noting that Proterra’s buses have been improving over time.

Paul acknowledged challenges faced by Proterra’s customers, like Asheville, particularly due to part shortages following the bankruptcy. He revealed Phoenix Motorcars’ immediate plan to restock spare parts and address supplier issues.

Paul expressed optimism that issues caused by Proterra’s bankruptcy would be resolved within six to nine months, emphasizing Phoenix’s commitment to customer satisfaction.

It’ll be back at the trough for more of your taxpayer cash in no time…

Flashback: Actor Kurt Russell Defends 2A Against Gun-Grabbing Hollywood Liberals

Tombstone actor explains to anti-gunner that people intent on committing evil acts will do so despite gun bans.

A-list actor Kurt Russell defends gun ownership and challenges an anti-gun Hollywood liberal, in a viral interview recirculating on social media.

In the interview from 2015, the The Thing actor explains to Hollywood Elsewhere‘s Jeffrey Wells why banning people on the no-fly list from owning guns won’t stop violent crime, and that attempting to control people’s behavior is not the answer.

“Yeah, I don’t understand the concepts of conversation of ‘the gun culture.’ We’ve lived with guns since what the seventh century or something. I don’t know,” Russell tells Wells, who responds guns are a metaphor that “disenfranchised white guys need.”

“It makes them feel good,” Wells adds.

The short version of Kurt Russell on gun control is basically “you’ll take it from my cold, dead hands buddy”.

He was on ? with this woke writer.

Didn’t know he was this cool but it makes sense since Tombstone is the best western film in human history. pic.twitter.com/Z0siGcGg7z

“Look, if you think gun control or something like that is going to change a terrorist’s point of view I think you’re, like, out of your mind,” the Escape from New York star responds. “I think it’s absolutely insane.”

Russell continues: “The problem we’re having right now is that we don’t have the concepts of how to turn it around and say, ‘You know, you may think you’ve got me worried about what you’re gonna do, dude. You’re about to find out what I’m gonna do,’ and that’s gonna worry you a lot more.”

“And that’s what we need, that will change the concept of ‘gun culture’ as you call it to something of reality,” Russell says.

Elsewhere, Russell points out terrorists intent on causing harm don’t need guns and “can also make a bomb pretty easily. They can also get knives and stab you.”

“What are you gonna do about that?” he asks. “They can also get cars and run you over with them. What are you gonna do about that?”

“So what are you gonna do? Outlaw everything?” Russell questions. “That isn’t the answer.”

“I understand that you think you can control the behavior of people that are dead set on taking your way of life away from you, I think you think you can control that,” Russell continues. “And there’s only one thing you can do with that and that’s say, ‘No dude, that’s not gonna happen.’”

Alex Jones Responds To New Neuralink Success

Alex Jones issues a report to Elon Musk in response to his ongoing Neuralink tests and trials.

Alex Jones breaks down Elon Musk’s announcement about the “success” of his latest Neuralink human trials.

“We don’t want this to become something that they try to push as just the new cell phone that the general public gets. This needs to be for people that have serious disabilities, and I hope that Elon Musk will move that direction,” Jones said on the Tuesday edition of The Alex Jones Show.

However, Jones reiterated, “If he moves for the mass implementation of this and for school children, I will absolutely come after him with everything I’ve got.”
