Former quality control manager John Barnett raised concerns about company cutting corners, using faulty parts, and issues with oxygen supply systems.

A former Boeing worker who blew the whistle on commercial airliner quality control issues was found dead in a hotel parking lot over the weekend, as the aviation company has recently been making headlines with numerous terrifying incidents.

On Saturday, police in Charleston, South Carolina, discovered the body of former Boeing quality control manager John Barnett, 62, in his vehicle dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to the BBC, Barnett was in Charleston last week testifying in depositions surrounding his ongoing litigation with Boeing, accusing the company of “denigrating his character and hampering his career.”

“He had been due to undergo further questioning on Saturday. When he did not appear, enquiries were made at his hotel,” reports the BBC.

“He was subsequently found dead in his truck in the hotel car park.”

For years, Barnett had been raising concerns about problems he observed while working at Boeing’s North Charleston plant, warning the BBC in 2019 that, as a result of hasty mass production, the company’s 787 Dreamliner fleet had numerous safety issues, including that some planes had been improperly retrofitted with “sub-standard” salvaged parts.

Barnett had additionally called attention to issues with the company’s emergency oxygen systems.

The faulty systems meant if there was a sudden cabin decompression issue mid-flight, up to one in four oxygen supply masks delivered to passengers may not work.

Barnett said he raised the concerns to supervisors to no avail.

“A 2017 review by the FAA upheld some of his concerns, requiring Boeing to take action,” notes the Daily Mail.

Barnett had also been speaking up in regards to other problems at Boeing, including the reported removal of inspection operations which he claimed led to cascading issues.

“We are saddened by Mr. Barnett’s passing, and our thoughts are with his family and friends,” Boeing said in a statement.

Skeptical social media users questioned whether Mr. Barnett could be a victim of corporate murder.

“Totally normal,” remarked Colin Rugg on X, with commentator Elijah Schaeffer also writing, “Totally NOT suspicious.”

The whistleblower’s death comes as Boeing’s planes have been at the center of numerous negative headlines over the past few months, including at least 5 incidents last week which included a tire falling off mid-takeoff, a plane that suffered landing gear failure, and a horrific mid-air engine fire.

The FAA has also been investigating the company after a door plug blew off an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 Max plane upon take-off in January.

The BBC reports:

Last week, the FAA said a six-week audit of the company had found “multiple instances where the company allegedly failed to comply with manufacturing quality control requirements”.

3 of the 4 foster homes illegal alien children were observed being sent to face serious sexual assault allegations, Muckraker journalists report.

Government contractors were caught on video escorting illegal alien children from LaGuardia airport to shady foster homes in the middle of the night, footage by Muckraker journalists reveals.

“Muckraker has obtained never-before-seen footage of government contractors escorting illegal alien children through LaGuardia Airport and into foster homes in the middle of the night,” the group posted on X Monday.

The video shows the journalists asking the workers putting the kids into black vans where they were headed, but the workers ignored them.

After following the van, and getting stonewalled by more contractors when asked questions, they arrived at several foster care facilities.

The journalists described how the unaccompanied children trafficked into the U.S. means big business for the foster care system.

“The illegal alien foster home system is an industry worth billions of dollars,” the group wrote. “Unaccompanied children who are trafficked into the United States via the southern border are a major revenue stream for foster homes across the country.”

Muckraker went on to claim that 75% of the foster homes they recorded the illegal alien children being sent to faced “serious sexual assault allegations.”

“We witnessed deliveries of children from LaGuardia Airport to four New York foster homes in the middle of the night. Three of the four homes are facing serious sexual assault allegations, and all of them receive millions of dollars in federal funding,” the group noted, citing lawsuits.

Lawsuits against the New York-based The Children’s Village foster home claims 28 alleged victims were brutally abused by staffers and older children.

Another lawsuit against St. Christopher’s Inc. alleges the plaintiff who was placed there was sexually abused by a staffer over 100 times.

Despite the disturbing allegations, these foster homes still receive hundreds of millions of dollars in government subsidies.

This comes just weeks after 28 attorneys general sent a letter to the Biden administration demanding answers about 85,000 migrant minors who’ve gone missing in the U.S. since 2022, according to figures from the Department of Health and Human Services.

“The Department of Health and Human Services must ensure that it is not handing over children to criminals and sex traffickers,” the letter states.

“It cannot do so if it does not know to whom it is handing these children. Even worse, is that it appears to have no idea where those children are being sent. Missing children must be identified, and potential sponsors must be vetted,” the letter concluded.

Comes as sanctuary city enacts budget cuts in wake of influx of 40,000 illegals costing taxpayers $180 million.

The Colorado sanctuary city of Denver is asking its residents to house illegal aliens as shelters have become overcrowded with the influx of foreign invaders.

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston (D) announced Friday that the city has started to scale back its migrant services, including the shuttering of shelters, to reduce the current budget deficit in the face of 40,000 illegals who’ve come to Denver over the last year which cost the city $180 million.

“I want to thank every resident in the city who has showed up to cook a meal for someone who has arrived, who has welcomed somebody to their home, who has offered them a job, who said, ‘We will help you find your way,’” Johnston said during a recent news conference. “You’ve done your part. The city will do our part. The federal government did not do their part.”

“What is true now is we’re entering into a different stage, which is without any federal support, without any work authorization, without changes to policy, we’re going to have to make changes to what we can do in terms of our city budget,” he added.

Some of the cuts include ending in-person vehicle registration renewals, cutting back on landscaping expenses, and cutting hours at recreation centers, which all told will only reduce the budget by one-fortieth of what the influx of illegals will cost the city.

Shelters are being cleared out and 38,000 illegals will eventually be evicted from Denver’s 10 overcrowded government-run shelters due to the budget cuts.

In response, the city has begun asking residents to take in the “newcomers.”

“We put out a feeler to all the landlords we have connections with,” Denver Human Services Jon Ewing told Fox 31. “Basically said, listen, we’re going to have some newcomers who are going to need housing.”

“The hope and goal is that we are able to connect the vast majority with housing, or at least as many of them as we possibly can,” Ewing said.

Ewing also said landlords couldn’t charge aliens more than $2,000 per month.

“We’ve got kind of a rent cap – $2,000,” he said.

Johnston last month claimed his administration was considering closing Denver to more illegal aliens as resources became overwhelmed, but it appears he found a new “solution”: foist the burden directly onto Denver residents instead.

Democrats in other cities have made similar pleas and initiatives to cope with the massive influx of illegals in recent months brought about by Joe Biden’s open border policy.

A Chicago Councilman in January urged wealthy residents to shelter illegals, and Maine has spent $3.5 million of taxpayer funds building “palace” apartments for migrants to live rent-free for 2 years.

Staff at the leftist sports outlet Deadspin were informed on Monday that a European company bought out their publication and is firing all employees.

The notice explained the new owners are going to keep the operation running under a new team “more in line with their editorial vision for the brand.”

Several X users accurately pointed out the outlet didn’t last long after a scandal where Deadspin writer Carron J. Phillips incorrectly labeled a child Kansas City Chiefs fan a “racist” who attended a game wearing “black face.”

In his article, Phillips posted a misleading image of the boy with black face paint on one side of his face and didn’t reveal the other side of his face was painted red.

The family of the 9-year-old kid falsely accused by Deadspin of wearing “blackface” filed a lawsuit against the outlet last month, potentially contributing to the recent sale.

Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy posted a celebratory video to social media Monday as he’s been feuding with the far-left outlet for years.

Drinking a bottle of champagne while floating in a pool, Portnoy gave a “cheers” to the camera and said, “To Deadspin! Everybody getting fired again. Those motherfuckers just don’t get it. Being miserable, hating life, never laughing… it’s never gonna pay the bills. See you motherfuckers on the employment line again.”

The saying, “Get woke, go broke,” is perfectly fitting in this situation as yet another establishment outlet falls while alternative media surges.

A self-sufficient country girl from Alabama who enjoys hunting and fishing unexpectedly became the target of vicious criticism over the weekend, with social media users slamming the cute girl’s pastimes as masculine.

The issue began when former RT reporter Samirah Khan issued an X post slamming influencer Hannah Barron over her heavy southern country accent amid a tour of the construction of Barron’s dream home.

“This accent needs to be illegal and women should be banned from doing manual labour like this,” Khan wrote, adding, “There is NOTHING feminine about American women… American women are literally men.”

Tweeting a video of Barron wearing a bathing suit in a river after noodling a massive catfish, Khan went on to say, “High-value American men should become passport bros,” adding, “Don’t they deserve better than the filth they are limited to in their own country…?”

At the same time, Khan propped up Lebanese women as “literally perfect.”

Khan continued saying American men likely prefer “girly girls,” than the “tomboy” Barron embodies.

Khan’s hot take that American men don’t prefer women like Barron was blasted on social media, with many saying she’s the epitome of a powerful woman and represents peak Americana.

Barron issued a scathing response on Instagram (despite trending on X, where she was banned for an unknown reason), replying she’s always been the black sheep and has no intentions of stopping now.

“Some girl said that my accent should be illegal, women shouldn’t do manual labor. Oh, what else did she say? American women are basically men, and she just said that I was not feminine. And I would tell you all this girl’s name, but I can’t remember it because I don’t have a clue who she is. So that should tell you how relevant this person is,” Barron laughed.

She went on to encourage fellow women to “embrace your own individuality, just be yourself and don’t worry about what anybody else said, because these folks talk about me and think they’re going to offend me, that ship sailed a long time ago.”

“I’ve been getting picked on my whole life,” Barron stated, adding, “I grew up around men. Oh well.”

She continued: “Well, so don’t be scared to build your own box and don’t try to fit in anybody else’s. Be your own person and you’ll be happier in the long run because of that. And don’t worry about what anybody else has to say.”
