Authorities identify murder suspect only as “29-year old male”

A police officer was murdered by a trespassing suspect who was subsequently shot dead by a witness in a New Mexico border city this week, authorities say.

The incident unfolded just before 5 p.m. on Sunday in Las Cruces, approximately 40 miles from the southern border.

Officer Jonah Hernandez was responding to a reported trespassing at a property in the city when he encountered an armed male.

“The investigation is in the very early stages but, at this point, police believe Hernandez was stabbed by the suspect who allegedly trespassed onto the property,” the Las Cruces Police Department (LCPD) explained in a statement on social media.

“So far, the investigation has also revealed that the perpetrator was shot and killed by someone who witnessed at least part of the interaction.”

LCPD says the witness then used Hernandez’s radio to call for help.

Hernandez was rushed to MountainView Regional Medical Center where he passed away.

The deceased suspect has only been identified as a “29-year-old male.”

LCPD says they are withholding further information about him until his next of kin have been notified – a decision which has been blasted on social media.

“If you release the officer’s name, you should release the name of the man who killed him. He chose to do what he did…the officer didn’t expect to die today. I don’t see why respect should be given to a murderer,” one woman wrote in response to LCPD’s Facebook post about the killing.

Officer Hernandez, a native of El Paso, Texas, had served on LCPD for two years and is reportedly survived by his wife and two young sons, ages 10 and 2 years old.

An investigation is ongoing.

Popular comedian David Lucas had “the show from Hell” last month when a large group of his audience walked out due to a joke mocking the controversial death of George Floyd.

Floyd died from a fentanyl overdose after being arrested and pinned down by a cop’s knee on his neck.

During his act in Kansas City, Missouri, Lucas dealt with a black man in the audience heckling him by saying, “You wanting to show them the reason George Floyd got his neck kneeled on.”

When the crowd responded with an “Oooo,” the comedian answered, “Don’t ‘ooo’ at that joke. It’s just a joke, man. I would have never kneeled on George Floyd’s neck. I would have shot that nigga…”

Next, several black audience members started leaving the venue because they were triggered by the joke.

“You need to know about George Floyd before you get your ass up there talking about him,” one man yelled at the entertainer, adding, “You really stoop low to be funny, you know that?”

Lucas took advantage of the interruptions by mocking the people fleeing his jokes, saying one guy looked like Bill Cosby and telling a woman, “I can tell you voted for Biden.”

“I like Kyle Rittenhouse too!” he shouted at the people exiting the building early.

The Austin, Texas, based comedian told one woman who was leaving, “George Floyd would have robbed you, too.”

As a good portion of his crowd left, Lucas said, “I’m gonna title this YouTube video ‘The Show From Hell.’”

Comedy has always been about pushing the limits of what society deems acceptable, which is why those brave enough to go where others refuse typically rise to the top of the game.

The stage is being set for the Democrats to ditch Sleepy Joe

Democrats hoping to cast their votes for Joe Biden in this year’s presidential election should be aware there’s a strong chance they’re really voting for Vice President Kamala Harris to replace the senile puppet.

Speaking with the Wall Street Journal this week, Harris bragged about her “capacity to lead” in the face of calls to remove Joe Biden under the 25th Amendment because his mental state renders him unfit to hold office.

“I am ready to serve. There’s no question about that,” Harris told WSJ when discussing a potential promotion should Biden be removed as president.

Last week, Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report investigating Biden’s mishandling of classified documents revealed no charges would be pressed against Sleepy Joe because he has “significant” memory problems and is too old.

Whether it’s Kamala, former First Lady Michelle Obama, Democrat California Governor Gavin Newsom, or another person, it appears as if the establishment is prepping the American people for a last-minute switch to get rid of the embarrassing octogenarian in the Oval Office.
