‘The View’ Hosts Agree Biden Should Drop Out of Election After Debate Disaster
The harpies of “The View” concluded Friday that Joe Biden needs to drop out of the 2024 election after witnessing his terrible debate performance.
“It kind of pains me to say this today, but I think President Biden needs to step down and be replaced if we want to defeat Donald Trump in November,” said co-host Sara Haines.
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, who worked in the Trump White House, agreed Biden’s debate performance was “historically bad.”
“I don’t know people under 30 are going to turn out for either candidate after last night,” Griffin said.
Haines clarified that she would still vote for Biden come November 5 and stressed that the panel was not being ageist.
“Look, Joy Behar is 81,” Haines said, referring to her show colleague. “Joy Behar at 81 is not Joe Biden at 81, and that was on full display last night.”
Sunny Hostin agreed with Haines’ analysis but then complained that Republicans aren’t reconsidering Trump as their nominee as well.
“Their nominee [Trump] is a convicted felon. He’s facing hundreds of charges for criminal activity and has been proven to be a racist, a business fraud, liable for sexual abuse, and insurrectionists, and as Biden said, he has the morals of an alley cat,” Hostin lamented.
“Republicans need to be holding him accountable. The majority of the party, which has been cowardly and feckless and complicit and enabling and allowing Trump’s racism, bullying, his democracy, misogyny,” she added.
But co-host Ana Navarro refused to give up on Biden, arguing that Trump is too dangerous for Democrats to allow him to retake the White House.
“It is a very old man versus a very bad man – one who speaks with a weak voice but tells me the truth in a weak, elderly voice, and [then there’s] a man who lies with impunity,” she said.
Co-host Joy Behar agreed, claiming America is in an” emergency situation” and urging viewers to remember that democracy itself is at stake in this election.
“What is on the line? Nothing less than the democracy we’ve enjoyed all these years,” she explained. “Nothing less than women’s rights to tell you what their body should do, not some politician who thinks that a fallopian tube is a way to get to New Jersey.”
“The View’s” new consensus on Sleepy Joe is a major shift since Jill Biden joined the show last month, where she gaslighted viewers on Trump’s cognitive faculties claiming he “can’t string a sentence together.”

Meanwhile, top Democrat insiders and donors have reportedly told Biden privately after the debate that he has one week to improve his standing among his base or else be ousted, although it’s unclear as to how exactly they will carry that out given their limited options.
Bombshell! Joe Biden Only Functional From 10am to 4pm, Aides Say
Joe Biden is only fully functional from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., White House aides told Axios on Saturday.
The report titled, “Two Joe Bidens: The night America saw the other one“, comes in the wake of Biden’s disastrous debate performance and questions among panicked Democrats as to how to replace him ahead of Election Day in November.

The past 36 hours showcased two Joe Bidens: the veteran president rallying voters in a swing state, and an 81-year-old man struggling to string thoughts together in a debate.
Why it matters: The public split screen isn’t new to many inside the White House, where top aides have meticulously stage-managed minutiae such as Biden’s sleep schedule, his orthopedic shoes, his walks to Marine One and his climb aboard Air Force One to try to blunt concerns about his age.
…Biden’s miscues and limitations are more familiar inside the White House.
The time of day is important as to which of the two Bidens will appear.
From 10am to 4pm, Biden is dependably engaged — and many of his public events in front of cameras are held within those hours.
Outside of that time range or while traveling abroad, Biden is more likely to have verbal miscues and become fatigued, aides told Axios.
Thursday’s 90-minute debate began at 9pm ET.
White House spokesperson Andrew Bates pushed back on the report, telling Axios that there “is one Joe Biden, who works his heart out fighting for families like the one he grew up in in Scranton, and who, because of his determination, experience and decency, keeps achieving unprecedented results for them.”
Top Democrat insiders and donors have reportedly told Biden privately that he has one week to improve his standing among his base or else be ousted.
Meanwhile, Republican lawmakers like House Speaker Mike Johnson called for Biden’s Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment for the sake of America’s national security.

HUGE! Top Democrats Give Biden One Week to Prove Himself or Step Down
Top Democrats have given Joe Biden one week to win Democrats back over or step down, according to reports.
Democrat insiders and donors have told Biden privately that “he has a week to win over Democrats or they will move to oust him after a disastrous performance in the first presidential debate,” The Telegraph reported Friday.

One congressman told Matthew Yglesias, a US political blogger: “I think the president has one week to prove he is not dead.”
David Plouffe, who managed Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, told CNN: “It’s kind of a Defcon 1 moment…they are three years apart, but they seemed about 30 years apart tonight.”
David Axelrod, another Obama adviser, said: “There are going to be discussions about whether he should continue.”
Mark Buell, a well-known Democratic donor, said: “Do we have time to put somebody else in there?”
UK government ministers have also insisted that the White House ditch Biden and replace him with a younger candidate to maintain the “special relationship” between the UK and US.
Meanwhile in the UK, Conservative Cabinet ministers privately called on the Democrats to ditch Mr Biden in surprisingly frank terms in the context of the special relationship.
Three figures sitting around Rishi Sunak’s top table told The Telegraph that Mr Biden should be switched with someone better placed to defeat Donald Trump.
The sources variously called on the Democrats to “get rid” of Mr Biden, to “switch him fast”, saying a younger alternative would have a much better chance of victory.
Given Biden has already effectively locked up the Democrat Party nomination for president with the vast majority of delegates pledged to him, it remains unclear how Democrats would oust him by the time the Democrat National Convention takes place in August.
But the chorus of media outlets and liberal pundits calling for Biden to step down in the wake of Thursday’s debate has been overwhelming.
The New York Times editorial board even called for Biden to be replaced with another candidate.
And a YouGov poll conducted the morning after the debate revealed that 49% of Americans believe Biden must go if the Democrats want to win, whereas only 30% believe he should remain the Democrat nominee.
Despite the widespread panic among Democrats, other top figures in the party like former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, along with Hillary Clinton, issued statements doubling down on their support of Biden.

Dem Rep. Goldman Thrashes CNN Over Debate: Trump ‘Intimidated Your Network,’ Was Given Free Reign to Lie
Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) was not happy with CNN over its handling of the debate between former President Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
During his Friday appearance on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360”, Goldman minimized Biden’s disastrous debate performance and instead went after CNN for allowing Trump to make his case before the American people without many fact-checks or interruptions.
“It was a bad night. There was a poor performance but one night does not make a campaign and it does not erase three-and-a-half years of stellar leadership that has brought our country back to the forefront on a global stage, has protected democracy around the world and he here at home and has benefited the vast majority of Americans, lower-class, middle-class Americans, through some historic, historic legislation,” Goldman told host Anderson Cooper.
“And when you compare what you saw from Joe Biden last night to what you saw from Donald Trump, you realize that this is a choice ultimately, in November of someone who is a decent, honest man of integrity, who has served his country his entire life against a felon, who is an inveterate liar and only cares about himself.”
“I think Joe Biden had an off tonight it was a poor performance. There’s no question about it and no one is saying anything different. But let’s have another debate. Let’s see what happens on a different night. Let’s see whether Donald Trump continues to lie over and over to deny his role in January 6, too. Proudly say that he increased the deficit more than any other president by reducing taxes on the super wealthy he is blatantly mischaracterizing the disaster that was his presidency and that got a lot of attention and didn’t get a lot of pushback.”
“But let’s have another debate where actually the moderators will push back on Donald Trump’s lies. He intimidated your network unfortunately, and there was no push back. He was given free reign to just lie as much as he wants and that’s not helpful to the American public either.” he added.
Cooper responded, “Yeah, I don’t know about the intimidation part.”
What Goldman didn’t mention was nearly every condition set by CNN was meant to give Biden the advantage.
CNN stated before the debate that moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash would fact-check Trump on Biden’s behalf, claiming it wouldn’t let the “responsibility” of fact-checking Trump during the debate “fall to Biden.”
After the debate, CNN anchor Erin Burnett even admitted that Sleepy Joe knew in advance every question he was going to be asked.
