‘Did Biden Have Neurological Scan After Debate?’ Reporters Ask Press Secretary
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre appeared frustrated by reporters asking about Joe Biden’s mental fitness Tuesday, with one reporter questioning whether he’d undergone brain scans following his abysmal debate last week.
“After the debate, did the president get examined by a doctor or did he get a neurological scan?” a reporter asked the press secretary.
“A neurological scan?” Jean-Pierre repeated in disbelief, before going on to claim the debate was just an off-night for Biden.

“Look, what I can say is that, just to take a step back. It was a bad night. We understand that it was a bad night,” she said.
Circling back to the question, Jean-Pierre added Biden has received “regular annual physicals,” but did not confirm or deny any recent brain scans.
Elsewhere during the press briefing, Jean-Pierre had to contend with a reporter comparing Biden to an ailing grandparent.

The press’s queries over Biden’s mental fitness come as a neurosurgeon confirmed he sees the 81-year-old president exhibiting signs of mild Parkinson’s disease dementia.
Meanwhile, party leaders like former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi now appear to be keen on replacing Biden on the Democrat ticket before November.

Congressman Wesley Hunt (R-Texas) and Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) joined former ESPN anchor Sage Steele on her podcast this week for a wide-ranging discussion.
During the interview, Rep. Hunt revealed his “favorite President Trump story” where Donald delivered a stern warning to Taliban leaders while negotiating the U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan.
The congressman said, “It’s President Trump and Mike Pompeo, and they are talking to Taliban leadership in the room. They had one translator in the room. President Trump looked at the Taliban leader and said this. ‘I want to leave Afghanistan, but it’s going to be a conditions-based withdrawal.’”
Next, Trump reportedly added, “If you harm a hair on a single American, I’m going to kill you,” before reaching in his pocket, pulling out a satellite photo of the Taliban leader’s home, handing it to him and walking out the room.

Another clip from the podcast going viral online featured Rep. Hunt dismantling the Democrat Party’s race-based lie that conservative voters are somehow racist.
“Byron and I are two congressmen from white majority districts that President Trump would have won by 20 plus points, and we both won overwhelmingly as black men. We are literally living Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream. We’re being judged not by the color of our skin but by the content of our character,” the Texas congressman explained.
He went on to suggest the reason a pair of black men can win political races in predominantly white conservative areas is that they “aren’t really talking about race.”
“We’re talking about the country and what’s important for everyone,” Hunt stated.
