NATO has moved away from its original purpose and is “increasingly behaving like a war organization,” warned the Hungarian prime minister.

NATO should return to its original mission of being an alliance for peace, Hungarian Prime Minister said upon arriving in Washington for the military alliance’s 75th anniversary summit.

He was greeted by U.S. President Joe Biden and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

“NATO started 75 years ago as a peace project. We should remember that today,” Orbán said in a Facebook post.

“NATO was launched 75 years ago to protect the security of its members. Today, however, it seems to be moving away from its original purpose and is increasingly behaving like a war organization,” he added.

Orbán said that “one sign of this is that NATO is taking an increasingly active role in the Russian-Ukrainian war. In our view, this is dangerous and even irresponsible because no one can see how this will end and where it will lead us,” he warned.

The prime minister also shared the position he would take at the summit.

“I will argue today that NATO should return to its original spirit. NATO should win peace, not the wars around it,” he said.

To do this, he explained, “we should first and foremost develop our own defense capabilities.”

“On behalf of Hungary, I will therefore confirm today that we will not continue to participate in NATO’s mission to Ukraine, but we will fully comply with our obligations to develop Hungarian defense capabilities,” he added.

A new report from the House Judiciary Committee released on Wednesday, and confirming our previous reporting, casts the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) under scrutiny, suggesting potential violations of federal antitrust laws due to its outsized influence in the advertising sector.

Established in 2019 by Rob Rakowitz and the World Federation of Advertisers, GARM has been accused of leveraging this influence to systematically restrict certain viewpoints online and sideline platforms advocating divergent views.

The organization, initially conceived to manage the surge of free speech online, is reported to coordinate with major industry players including Proctor & Gamble, Mars, Unilever, Diageo, GroupM, and others. The collaboration appears to stretch across the largest ad agency holding companies worldwide, known collectively as the Big Six. Such collaboration raises concerns about a concerted effort to police content, especially content that challenges mainstream narratives.

Specifically, the report highlights GARM’s actions following the rebranding of Twitter by Elon Musk and its attempts to silence discussions on controversial topics like COVID-19 vaccines on Spotify’s “The Joe Rogan Experience.” Despite no “brand safety” risks acknowledged by GroupM, GARM still pressed for advertising restrictions on Rogan’s podcast.

Moreover, internal communications within GARM reveal selective targeting against platforms like The Daily Wire, categorized under the “Global High Risk exclusion list” for purportedly promoting “Conspiracy Theories.” The report also includes examples where GARM leaders expressed disdain towards conservative outlets such as Fox News, The Daily Wire, and Breitbart News, aiming to curtail their advertising revenue by labeling their content as objectionable.

The committee’s findings suggest that GARM’s methods not only potentially contravene Section 1 of the Sherman Act, which prohibits conspiracies that restrain commerce but also infringe upon fundamental American freedoms by censoring protected speech. This has raised significant concerns about the implications for democratic values and the diversity of voices in the American public sphere.

In response to these allegations, the House Judiciary Committee has called for a hearing, which was held today, to examine whether the current antitrust law enforcement and penalties are sufficient to address such collusive behaviors within online advertising, signaling a critical review of how advertising power is wielded in the digital age.

The German Foreign Ministry willingly disregarded police warnings about troublesome immigrants.

Over the past five years, thousands of people have allegedly traveled to Germany with false documents at the behest of the German Foreign Ministry, with several German embassies and consulates reportedly implicated in the scandal. 

Now, prosecutors in Berlin and Cottbus are investigating several employees of the Federal Foreign Office, with the potential for criminal charges. If the prosecutors confirm the allegations, it could mark a major immigration scandal for a government that has been accused of promoting a policy of open borders, including a new law that will accelerate naturalizations and bring in hundreds of thousands — if not millions — of more immigrants through family reunification and other schemes.

According to German media outlets, most of those who entered the country with false documents approved by the foreign ministry allegedly later applied for asylum in Germany, according to German media outlet Focus.

Reports indicate that the German Foreign Ministry has been under investigation for more than a year, allegedly instructing staff at the German consulate in Islamabad, Pakistan, to issue a visa to a man named Mohammad G., knowing that his passport was false. According to the report, the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs ignored warnings from the federal police in the case of several Afghans.

Prosecutors are targeting employees who are suspected of having instructed staff at German embassies and consulates to “allow applicants with incomplete or obviously forged documents to enter Germany.”

The German foreign ministry initially refused to comment on the investigations, but a spokesperson later announced that the ministry was aware of three investigations. The known individual cases were responded to with organizational measures.

German newspaper Bild has also learned of at least 20 other highly problematic visas issued to Afghan nationals, which are currently under investigation by prosecutors. These allegedly concern visa stickers in travel documents that were not applied for and collected by the holder in person.

The scandal started with the case of Mohammad Ali G. In his case, the legal department of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs clashed with the visa office in Islamabad, Pakistan, because local officials refused to grant the man, who had allegedly fled Afghanistan, a visa to enter Germany.
While investigating the case, Bild came across an order given by the legal department to the Pakistani visa center to allow Mohammad Ali G. to enter Germany.

It read: ‘In fact, there is no doubt as to the identity of the applicant (…), false passport or not (…).”

In Lebanon, hundreds of people also allegedly used forged documents to obtain a coveted visa to Germany. All this was made possible by two fraudsters from the prestigious Goethe Institute who circumvented the rules on family reunification. 

To do this, applicants must submit a language test certificate to German visa centers, along with other documents. This certificate is issued by the Goethe Institute, which is funded by the German Foreign Office, but in the Lebanese capital of Beirut, 449 cases of forgery have been reported.

AUF1 founder Stefan Magnet said the news channel, which is known for opposing COVID mandates and the Great Reset, has had eight of its bank accounts in Germany and Austria shut down within weeks.

(LifeSiteNews) — One of the largest German-speaking alternative media stations has been de-banked in Austria and Germany, according to its editor-in-chief.

AUF1 editor-in-chief Stefan Magnet said in a video message that the organization had eight of its bank accounts in Germany and Austria shut down within weeks.

“So, we are forced to go into exile with our donations bank account to Viktor Orban’s Hungary,” Magnet stated. “It is unpleasant, but we have no other choice because this is a coordinated campaign of destruction against Auf1 and our information work.”

AUF1 is an anti-globalist online TV and news station founded by Magnet in 2021 in Austria during the height of the COVID crisis. In short order, AUF1 garnered substantial reach and viewership in the German-speaking market. Financed by donations, AUF1has grown its enterprise despite numerous attacks and attempts to shut down its operation.

“From compulsory masks to compulsory vaccination, transhumanism, gender terror, climate hysteria and the Great Reset: topics like these get us going,” AUF1 states on its website. “We work with idealism and passion. And we report unsparingly and critically and take care to remain independent.”

Magnet stressed in his video statement that the organization did not act illegally in any way.

“We employ tax advisors and lawyers who scrutinize our financial conduct to ensure that we do not provide the system with anything to attack,” he said.

“We were already a painful thorn in the side of the political and media cartel during the coronavirus era, and now that the Great Reset is being prepared and implemented at breathtaking speed on many levels, we are even more in their way,” the founder of AUF1 stated.

“The attacks are manifold,” he continued. “At first, we were defamed, people tried to send us informers to denounce us, to push us into the ‘Reichsbürger’ corner, to punt us as right-wing extremists.”

“But lies and slander did not help. On the contrary, our viewers and donors remained loyal to us. Then came criminal proceedings, lawsuits, media proceedings.”

“That didn’t stop us either,” Magnet said. “And now they are also trying to cut us off from our supporters by canceling our accounts at short intervals with the aim of annoying and upsetting our donors. Germany’s liberal FDP says the new draft rules would amount to an invasion of privacy.

Germany’s Defense Minister Boris Pistorius (SPD/S&D) will be forced to soften his new model of conscription, planned for 2025, after senior ministers from coalition partner Free Democrats (FDP) said they do not support conscription.

Pistorius presented his concrete proposal in June, which aims to “prepare German society for war” against the threat from Russia.

As Remix News reported, inspired by the Nordic countries, the model would have obliged 18-year-old male youths to fill in questionnaires about their interests, on the basis of which the most suitable candidates would be selected for medical examinations and possibly six months of service.

However, senior ministers of the liberal FDP have expressed their opposition to the model.

In a letter to Pistorius, Finance Minister Christian Lindner and Justice Minister Marco Buschmann said that while they shared their support for the Bundeswehr becoming a modern and efficient army, this could only be achieved through social acceptance. The FDP also noted that harvesting the data from the questionnaire itself would amount to an invasion of privacy.

Any “obligation for a small group of people to undergo medical examinations for military service would raise inevitable questions of justice,” they wrote, noting that it would be a profound intrusion into the lives of young people.

Pistorius has previously argued that the compulsory elements in his “soft” conscription model are negligible, as conscripts would be selected to join the armed forces on the basis of their interests. However, he will now be forced to further relax these elements, as he needs the support of his SPD coalition partners, the FDP and the Greens in parliament to reintroduce conscription.

Pistorius had originally planned to draft 5,000 men a year from 2025, a defense ministry spokesman confirmed.

The letter from Lindner and Buschmann was a further blow for Pistorius after it emerged that Germany’s defense budget will increase by less than the amount requested next year.

“This is annoying for me because it means I can’t introduce certain things at the speed required by the threat level,” Pistorius commented on Monday.
