Watch: Former Green Beret Warns of Major Terror Attack in U.S. By 2025
A former Green Beret is warning that there will be a major attack inside the United States by 2025 thanks in part to Joe Biden’s open border policies.
Ret. Lt. Col. Scott Mann, author of Operation Pineapple Express, joined Newsmax on Saturday to explain that veteran sources in Afghanistan have told him to expect a major terrorist event within the U.S. within the next year.
“What they’re saying is there’s a very, very imminent attack on the horizon and a lot of activity below the surface inside the Afghanistan,” Mann told host Robb Schmitt.
“It has become the world’s biggest safe haven against to launch an attack against the West and specifically the United States.”
Mann was part of Task Force Pineapple, a task force set up by a volunteer group of U.S. veterans to evacuate American citizens and Afghan allies following the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan.
Mann went on to lambast the U.S. intelligence apparatus and politicians for allowing a return to the same set of conditions that preceded the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which led to a massive expansion of domestic surveillance powers and the global “War on Terror.”
“We’ve been here before. We experienced this before. We swore ‘Never Again’ on 9/11 and spent 20 years building an intelligence capability and a partner capability inside Afghanistan to deal with this,” Mann explained.
Mann claimed since Joe Biden “abandoned” Afghanistan, leaving billions of dollars of military equipment and weaponry, the terror danger has returned.
“And then on August 15, three years ago, we just walked away from it and abandoned 98% of our intelligence capability. We’ve left it on that battlefield,” Mann lamented.
“Now for these striking revelations to come from these senior leaders that the dashboard is blinking red, yeah it is and it has been for some time, ever since we left there. So it does feel a lot like pre-9/11.”
“But the difference this time is that we actually do have a threat picture on what’s happening and we have an understanding of what’s happening,” he conitnued, “but the irony of it is, it’s in the mouths and groups of these veterans, and it’s really not coming from the very agencies and institutions that you would expect to be driving this effort.”
That may be because the U.S. intelligence community is too busy using their vast powers to target American citizens over their Christian faith or support for Donald Trump.
In fact, the Department of Homeland Security’s now-disbanded “Homeland Intelligence Experts Group” — which included former Obama intelligence officials and Russia collusion hoaxers John Brennan and James Clapper — claimed “most of the Domestic Terrorism threat now comes from supporters of the former president [Donald Trump].”
The group also sought to encourage teachers and parents to report on their conservative neighbors and children and proposed that people be tagged with “in the military” and “religious” labels to profile them as having “indicators of extremists and terrorism.”
And before that, the DHS’ now-disbanded “Disinformation Governance Board” sought to classify information that countered official regime narratives on “the origins and effects of COVID-19 vaccines,” “the efficacy of masks,” the validity of the 2020 election,” and “falsehoods surrounding U.S. Government immigration policy” as disinformation.
Meanwhile, individuals on terrorist watchlists are getting flagged at the open southern border, prompting FBI Director Christopher Wray to warn Congress of terror threats to the U.S. due to “dangerous individuals” illegally entering the U.S.
12-Year-Old Girl Sexually Abused by Illegal Alien in Iowa
An illegal alien faces 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl in Iowa, according to reports.
Court documents obtained by the Washington Examiner indicate that Junior Manuel Dubon Benitez, an 18-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, was charged with second-degree sexual abuse following his arrest on February 14 in Waterloo, IA.
Dubon Benitez illegally entered Texas as a 16-year-old in 2022, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokesperson told the Examiner.
It is currently unclear if he arrived in the U.S. as an ‘unaccompanied minor’ or with family members.
Dubon Benitez reportedly accepted a plea deal for third-degree sexual abuse earlier this month in an Iowa District Court and will be sentenced in the weeks ahead.
ICE has lodged an immigration detainer with the Iowa Department of Corrections so that he can be entered into deportation proceedings following his prison term.
Last week, a pair of illegal aliens from Venezuela were charged in the brutal murder of a 12-year-old girl in Houston, Texas.

AOC also asked the crowd if they were “ready to fight” for a ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza conflict.
Bowman was also seen rapping and dancing on stage during his rally ahead of the primary election on Tuesday.

Bowman had pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge for falsely triggering a fire alarm in a House office building last September to delay a vote on a stopgap spending bill, an action AOC defended.
Hillary Clinton last week endorsed Bowman’s opponent, Westchester County Executive George Latimer, in part over Bowman’s anti-Israel stance.
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee also spent $14 million to boost Bowman’s opponent in the competitive primary.
Ukraine Kills Civilians in Crimea with US-supplied Missiles — Russian MOD
The Ukrainian military has launched several US-made ATACMS long-range missiles armed with highly controversial cluster munitions on Russia’s Crimea, resulting in numerous civilian casualties, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said.
The strike was first reported by Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev on Sunday, who said that the attack killed at least three people, including two children. According to Russia’s Health Ministry, 124 people were injured, including 27 children.

However, in the summer 2023 then-Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said that Moscow would not deploy this type of weapon against Kiev for humanitarian reasons. He warned, however, that Russia might potentially reverse this policy.
The US announced in July 2023 that it would provide Ukraine with cluster munitions, sparking outrage in Moscow. At the time, US President Joe Biden called the decision “very difficult” but justified, arguing that the deliveries were needed to fuel a Ukrainian counteroffensive that subsequently failed with heavy losses for Kiev.
Ukraine has previously attempted to target the peninsula with ATACMS missiles, with one of the most notable attacks taking place in late May. Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov said that a total of ten ATACMS aimed at the strategic Crimean Bridge were shot down, saving hundreds of lives.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said in fresh interview that despite leading Western countries seeking the defeat of Russia in Ukraine, the situation remains “hopeless” for achieving this and it will only lead to greater death and destruction. He described that in the scenario the West actually does eventually succeed, the immense cost in blood and treasure would not be worth it.
“The situation looks like the Western world wants to defeat Russia with the help of Germany under the leadership of the United States,” the prime minister said, as translated in TASS. “I think it is hopeless. And even if we succeed, which is not at all realistic, we will have to pay such a high price that it will not be worth it.“
Orban also addressed the origins of the conflict, related to NATO expansion up to Russia’s doorstep. Over a week ago President Putin named as one of his conditions for ceasefire that Kiev give up aspirations to join the Western military alliance.
“In the end, the question is whether Ukraine will become a NATO member or not. This war is about Sevastopol, where there will be a NATO flag or a Russian flag at the exit to the Black Sea. The Russians say that the Russian flag is flying there now, and they don’t want to change it to a NATO flag, and they don’t want to border NATO countries,” the Hungarian leader said.
Revealingly, he also during the remarks given to the Hungarian broadcaster (Radio Kossuth) hinted that NATO has plans in place to send a military mission to Ukraine. According to a machine translation, he said:
“I have agreed with the NATO secretary general: NATO will have a military mission in Ukraine, but Hungary will not participate in it, not even with money.”
He also declared that Hungary is getting off the NATO “train” of escalation, coming at a moment that both Brussels and Washington have greenlighted using Western weaponry to attack inside Russian territory.
“We have achieved the minimum goal, I agreed with the NATO Secretary General, Hungary will get off the train. NATO will have a military mission in Ukraine, but Hungary will not take part in it.”
Continuing the analogy, he made reference to the US election in November: “The driver could not be convinced, and now only Trump can stop the train,” he said.

Orban then put the next NATO chief on notice: “We agreed not only with the outgoing Secretary General, but also with the new incoming NATO Secretary General. Nobody from NATO will put pressure on Hungary.” Mark Rutte, the outgoing prime minister of the Netherlands, is expected to be the next Secretary-General of NATO.
