Ukraine on Brink of a Coup as Zelensky Leads Country to Ruin
Andrii Telizhenko laments the state of his home country and explains how the situation there differs from what people in the West are told in mainstream media.
Former Ukrainian diplomat and whistleblower Andrii Telizhenko joined Sputnik’s Fault Lines program Wednesday, speaking powerfully about the “heartbreak” he feels as his country loses people and territory in an unnecessary conflict.
“Ukraine is losing and losing by hundreds of thousands of people, the men and women which are dying and which have been killed… this is already a big loss for everybody,” said the former Ukrainian government official to hosts Jamarl Thomas and Melik Abdul. “Ukraine is going to lose more territories if this attitude continues to fight and fight and fight.”
“He doesn’t even want peace. He doesn’t even talk about peace,” said Telizhenko of the country’s current leader President Volodymyr Zelensky. “This is a heartbreak for me as a Ukrainian, to say that we might lose our country because of the people who are in the government today in Ukraine, the regime which is killing its own people who want to fight for peace, which is killing its own people, throwing them to the front lines against Russia, one of the strongest armies in the world and a nuclear country.”
The ex-diplomat said Zelensky’s increasing unpopularity – at home and in Washington – could lead to his ousting as early as this year.
“There might be a coup in spring of this year in Ukraine, coordinated by the West, changing Zelensky as the president of Ukraine with somebody like [military chief] Zaluzhny or somebody else out there,” said Telizhenko, speculating the regime change could even result in a civil war in the country.
“America does not always understand what’s happening within Ukraine, even though they’re trying to control it,” he added. “And I think that’s what’s going to happen.”
Telizhenko said the conflict would ultimately have to be resolved via negotiation between the US and Russia but, perversely, Ukrainians will likely continue to die until the political moment in the United States allows such discussions to take place. “So the United States and Russia sit down. But I think nobody’s going to go for that in DC until the elections,” he claimed. “So Ukraine is going to lose more and more territories.
Above all Telizhenko lamented the tragedy of Ukrainians being killed in a war they don’t want to fight, effectively being sent on a suicide mission to battle against a more powerful army without the proper training.
“People are being thrown out, thrown from the streets, the buses,” he said. “Ukrainians don’t want to fight. And they, their laws are being broken by throwing them to military camps and then throwing them to the front lines right away, without any tactical experience at all.”
“They basically made a boot camp out of Ukraine,” he said, “not letting any men and women out and throwing them to the front lines without any experience, just to make their owners in Washington and Deep State happy… And this is going to continue to happen as Boris Johnson, who you mentioned before, promised to fight until the last Ukrainian. And that’s what they’re doing right now, keeping that promise, fighting to the last Ukrainian men and women.”
Telizhenko explained that the crisis in Ukraine is personal for him not merely because he is Ukrainian, but also because he knows people who have fallen victim to the extremist government that took hold after 2014’s Euromaidan coup. Making matters worse is that fact that people in the West don’t understand the true nature of the Zelensky regime, but instead are fed lies about how the government there is fighting for “freedom” and “democracy.”
“My country… was a prosperous country years before, before the coup, before everything happened in ’14, Ukraine was prosperous,” he explained. “His situation [Gonzalo Lira’s] is the face of what is happening in Ukraine today, because there’s thousands of people like Gonzalo Lira who we don’t even know about. I had three friends who got shot in Ukraine because they are political and analytics experts – great, great guys that didn’t work for anybody, that just had their point of view of peace and the truth, and they got killed in the first weeks of the conflict.”
“The Secret Service of Ukraine came to their house and shot them. One of them got killed in the prison. And this is what’s happening in Ukraine today… This is what’s happened in a so-called democracy which the deep state is financing today in Ukraine.”

American Psychological Association Seeks Federal Funding For Censorship
The American Psychological Association is going all in for a new psyop campaign, that’s centered around censorship. The association is asking for federal funding from the ruling class to help stop “misinformation” online.
This is an ongoing censorship campaign. In 2021, the APA accepted a $2 million grant from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help it control the mainstream COVID-19 narratives.
According to a report by Natural News, the APA was tasked with developing “a scientific consensus statement on the science of misinformation,” and a post on the APA’s website announcing the award claimed: “Psychologists can serve an important role in guiding the world out of the pandemic. We are the discipline with expertise to address vaccine decision-making and susceptibility to misinformation.”
Now that the APA has dipped its toe into the censorship agenda, it is asking the ruling class to fund it in doing so. In a self-serving post on its website, it outlined eight recommendations for countering misinformation. The APA lists funding psychological research studies as one of its solutions, explaining that large-scale trials will help them understand which “interventions” work best at combatting specific types of misinformation.
The subtitle reads: Specific ways to meet the ongoing risk of misinformation to health, well-being, and civic life
Just to be clear, when they refer to “civic life,” they are only referring to the slave class and what they are allowed to be exposed to information-wise.
The APA’s CEO, Arthur C. Evans, Jr. says that making sure the slave class stays that way, especially during a (s)election year is a top priority. He also bragged that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have tasked the APA with fighting misinformation and that the organization can help censor those who don’t buy the official narrative.
Considering the way that people who tried to share their concerns about COVID-19 vaccines were often mocked online for not believing in “science” by those on the left, it makes perfect sense that the APA and the CDC are so eager to spend money trying to find scientific justification for further censorship. –Natural News

Sen. Ron Johnson: COVID-19 Injections 55x DEADLIER Than Flu Vaccines
The Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines are 55 times deadlier than flu injections, according to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI).
The lawmaker came upon this finding after his staff conducted a study on the deaths caused by the two vaccines. Staffers for Johnson looked at data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) for the paper. “The review involved a certain level of assumption given that no publicly available data exist regarding how many flu vaccine doses were administered in the U.S. over the past 10 years,” according to the Epoch Times.
The report assumed that 70 percent of distributed flu vaccines were injected into people’s arms. Despite this, the shocking figure emerged: The number of deaths per million doses of the COVID-19 vaccines was at 25.5. In contrast, the number of deaths per million doses of the flu vaccine was a mere 0.46.
Johnson outlined this concerning finding in a Dec. 21 letter to White House health officials. He addressed his correspondence to Health Secretary Xavier Becerra, Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. Robert Califf and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Mandy Cohen.
“Using the midpoint assumption that 70 percent of distributed flu vaccines were administered, the 25.5 deaths per million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine represents a 55-fold increase over the flu vaccine deaths per million doses,” Johnson wrote. “This is a shocking difference, and only adds to the growing evidence of safety signals that are screaming to be taken seriously.”
Johnson blasts insufficient responses of government agencies
The Wisconsin senator also rebuked the health officials for their insufficient responses to his queries in the Dec. 21 letter.
“When it comes to responding to my data requests on the adverse events associated with the COVID-19 vaccines, your arrogant lack of transparency has been unprecedented, irresponsible and completely unacceptable,” he noted. (Related: Steve Kirsch: Vaccine damage data being DELIBERATELY HIDDEN).
“Over the course of the last 32 months, I have raised questions, sent formal requests and conducted oversight on the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines. Instead of addressing my legitimate questions and requests for information, you and other public health officials continue to promote the COVID-19 vaccines as safe and effective, and often use the number of vaccine doses administered as support for that misleading claim.”
Johnson also reiterated his previous requests for data on the safety of the COVID-19 injections, and asked the health officials if they were aware of a study that pointed to “off-target” or incorrect proteins stemming from the vaccine. He gave a Jan. 18 deadline for the necessary information to be produced and turned over to him.
On the same day as Johnson’s letter, the JAMA Network published a survey showing that Americans are more skeptical of the COVID-19 vaccines’ safety than that of the flu vaccine. Fifty-one percent of respondents said they were worried about the safety of the COVID-19 injection, more than twice the 24 percent who expressed concern about the flu vaccine’s safety.
It also found that 28 percent of respondents are “not at all likely” to get the COVID-19 injection in 2023, compared to the 22 percent “not at all likely” to get the flu vaccine. Sixty percent of respondents said they want more research on the COVID-19 vaccine, compared to the only 24 percent who wanted more research on the flu vaccine.

What’s to stop the U.S. government from throwing the kill switch and shutting down phone and internet communications in a time of so-called crisis?
After all, it’s happening all over the world.
Communications kill switches have become tyrannical tools of domination and oppression to stifle political dissent, shut down resistance, forestall election losses, reinforce military coups, and keep the populace isolated, disconnected and in the dark, literally and figuratively.
As the Guardian reports, “From Ukraine to Myanmar, government-run internet outages are picking up pace around the world. In 2021, there were 182 shutdowns in 34 countries… Countries across Africa and Asia have turned to shutdowns in a bid to control behaviour, while India, largely in the conflict-ridden region of Jammu and Kashmir, plunged into digital darkness more times than any other last year… Civil unrest in Ethiopia and Kazakhstan has triggered internet shutdowns as governments try to prevent political mobilisation and stop news about military suppression from emerging.”
In an internet-connected age, killing the internet is tantamount to bringing everything—communications, commerce, travel, the power grid—to a standstill.
Tyrants and would-be tyrants rely on this “cloak of darkness” to advance their agendas.
In Myanmar, for example, the internet shutdown came on the day a newly elected government was to have been sworn in. That’s when the military staged a digital coup and seized power. Under cover of a communications blackout that cut off the populace from the outside world and each other, the junta “carried out nightly raids, smashing down doors to drag out high-profile politicians, activists and celebrities.”
These government-imposed communications shutdowns serve to not only isolate, terrorize and control the populace, but also underscore the citizenry’s lack of freedom in the face of the government’s limitless power.
Yet as University of California Irvine law professor David Kaye explains, these kill switches are no longer exclusive to despotic regimes. They have “migrated into a toolbox for governments that actually do have the rule of law.”
This is what digital authoritarianism looks like in a technological age.
Digital authoritarianism, as the Center for Strategic and International Studies cautions, involves the use of information technology to surveil, repress, and manipulate the populace, endangering human rights and civil liberties, and co-opting and corrupting the foundational principles of democratic and open societies, “including freedom of movement, the right to speak freely and express political dissent, and the right to personal privacy, online and off.”
For those who insist that it can’t happen here, it can and it has.
In 2005, cell service was disabled in four major New York tunnels, reportedly to avert potential bomb detonations via cell phone.
In 2009, those attending President Obama’s inauguration had their cell signals blocked—again, same rationale.
And in 2011, San Francisco commuters had their cell phone signals shut down, this time, to thwart any possible protests over a police shooting of a homeless man.
With shutdowns becoming harder to detect, who’s to say it’s not still happening?
Although an internet kill switch is broadly understood to be a complete internet shutdown, it can also include a broad range of restrictions such as content blocking, throttling, filtering, complete shutdowns, and cable cutting.
As Global Risk Intel explains:
“Content blocking is a relatively moderate method that blocks access to a list of selected websites or applications. When users access these sites and apps, they receive notifications that the server could not be found or that access was denied by the network administrator. A more subtle method is throttling. Authorities decrease the bandwidth to slow down the speed at which specific websites can be accessed. A slow internet connection discourages users to connect to certain websites and does not arouse immediate suspicion. Users may assume that connection service is slow but may not conclude that this circumstance was authorized by the government. Filtering is another tool to censor targeted content and erases specific messages and terms that the government does not approve of.”
How often do most people, experiencing server errors and slow internet speeds, chalk it up to poor service? Who would suspect the government of being behind server errors and slow internet speeds?
Then again, this is the same government that has subjected us to all manner of encroachments on our freedoms (lockdowns, mandates, restrictions, contact tracing programs, heightened surveillance, censorship, overcriminalization, shadow banning, etc.) in order to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, preserve the integrity of elections, and combat disinformation.
These tactics have become the tools of domination and oppression in an internet-dependent age.
It really doesn’t matter what the justifications are for such lockdowns. No matter the rationale, the end result is the same: an expansion of government power in direct proportion to the government’s oppression of the citizenry.
According to Global Risk Intel, there are many motives behind such restrictions:
“For instance, the kill switch serves to censor content and constrain the spread of news. This particularly concerns news reports that cover police brutality, human rights abuses, or educational information. Governments may also utilize the kill switch to prevent government-critical protestors from communicating through message applications like WhatsApp, Facebook, or Twitter and organizing mass demonstrations. Therefore, internet restrictions can provide a way of regulating the flow of information and hindering dissent. Governments reason that internet limitations help stop the spread of fake news and strengthen national security and public safety in times of unrest.”
In this age of manufactured crises, emergency powers and technofascism, the government already has the know-how, the technology and the authority.
Now all it needs is the “right” crisis to flip the kill switch.
This particular kill switch can be traced back to the Communications Act of 1934. Signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the Act empowers the president to suspend wireless radio and phone services “if he deems it necessary in the interest of national security or defense” during a time of “war or a threat of war, or a state of public peril or disaster or other national emergency, or in order to preserve the neutrality of the United States.”
In the event of a national crisis, the president has a veritable arsenal of emergency powers that override the Constitution and can be activated at a moment’s notice. These range from imposing martial law and suspending habeas corpus to shutting down all forms of communications, restricting travel and implementing a communications kill switch.
That national emergency can take any form, can be manipulated for any purpose and can be used to justify any end goal—all on the say so of the president.
The seeds of this ongoing madness were sown several decades ago when George W. Bush stealthily issued two presidential directives that granted the president the power to unilaterally declare a national emergency, which is loosely defined as “any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions.“
Comprising the country’s Continuity of Government (COG) plan, these directives (National Security Presidential Directive 51 and Homeland Security Presidential Directive 20), which do not need congressional approval, provide a skeletal outline of the actions the president will take in the event of a “national emergency.”
Just what sort of actions the president will take once he declares a national emergency can barely be discerned from the barebones directives. However, one thing is clear: in the event of a perceived national emergency, the COG directives give unchecked executive, legislative and judicial power to the president.
The country would then be subjected to martial law by default, and the Constitution and the Bill of Rights would be suspended.
The internet kill switch is just one piece of the government’s blueprint for locking down the nation and instituting martial law.
There may be many more secret powers that presidents may institute in times of so-called crisis without oversight from Congress, the courts, or the public. These powers do not expire at the end of a president’s term. They remain on the books, just waiting to be used or abused by the next political demagogue.
Given the government’s penchant for weaponizing one national crisis after another in order to expand its powers and justify all manner of government tyranny in the so-called name of national security, it’s only a matter of time before this particular emergency power to shut down the internet is activated.
Then again, an all-out communications blackout is just a more extreme version of the technocensorship that we’ve already been experiencing at the hands of the government and its corporate allies.
Packaged as an effort to control the spread of speculative or false information in the name of national security, restricting access to social media has become a popular means of internet censorship.
In fact, these tactics are at the heart of several critical cases before the U.S. Supreme Court over who gets to control, regulate or remove what content is shared on the internet: the individual, corporate censors or the police state.
Nothing good can come from techno-censorship.
As Glenn Greenwald writes for The Intercept:
“The glaring fallacy that always lies at the heart of pro-censorship sentiments is the gullible, delusional belief that censorship powers will be deployed only to suppress views one dislikes, but never one’s own views… Facebook is not some benevolent, kind, compassionate parent or a subversive, radical actor who is going to police our discourse in order to protect the weak and marginalized or serve as a noble check on mischief by the powerful. They are almost always going to do exactly the opposite: protect the powerful from those who seek to undermine elite institutions and reject their orthodoxies. Tech giants, like all corporations, are required by law to have one overriding objective: maximizing shareholder value. They are always going to use their power to appease those they perceive wield the greatest political and economic power.“
As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People and in its fictional counterpart The Erik Blair Diaries, these censors are laying the groundwork to preempt any “dangerous” ideas that might challenge the power elite’s stranglehold over our lives.
Whatever powers you allow the government and its corporate operatives to claim now, whatever the reason might be, will at some point in the future be abused and used against you by tyrants of your own making.
By the time you add AI technologies, social credit systems, and wall-to-wall surveillance into the mix, you don’t even have to be a critic of the government to get snared in the web of digital censorship.
Eventually, as George Orwell predicted, telling the truth will become a revolutionary act.
