CNN State of the Union Host Dana Bash couldn’t provide one example of something Biden’s done to deter illegal immigration.

A CNN host was stunned into an awkward silence after South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) asked her to name one thing Biden’s done to secure the border.

Describing how Joe Biden could help curtail the invasion without Congress simply by making an announcement discouraging illegal immigration, State of the Union host Dana Bash interjected Biden was playing Republicans’ game of negotiating a border security funding package.

“I think that he would have the ability to fix that, a broken immigration policy, if the president could show that he was acting in good faith,” Noem said, adding, “Make an announcement that you’re changing your policies, you’re reallocating resources and going to start protecting the United States of America, and you’d have Republicans coming down to the White House asking…to be partners on fixing our immigration policies.”

“Instead what we’ve got is this partisan bickering back and forth and no solutions while people invade our country.”

“We’ve had almost 10 million people come in to our country and we’ve got a lot of people that have been on the terrorist watch list,” Noem continued, “dangerous criminals that are coming into the United States who do not love us that we’re allowing to enter our country.”

Federal authorities recently caught a terrorist at the U.S. southern border then released him into the country — where he roamed freely for nearly a year until his arrest in Minnesota just days ago.

“It’s an unsafe situation and the president can be the one who stands up and shows leadership at this time,” Noem told Bash, adding, “Change your policies. Build a wall. Secure the border.”

Bash retorted, “He’s negotiating because this is what Republicans wanted him to do. So again, why not take the W?” questioning Republicans’ refusal to back a foreign aid spending package that also provides funding to Ukraine and Israel.

“What has he done?” Noem asked, repeating “What has he done?”

At this point, Bash was unable to provide a response and sat in silence.

“He’s done nothing as far as actual policies and actually using the tools he has.”

Will Republicans blink and cave on the bill in order to get the Biden administration to move on the border?

Minnesota “Squad” member defends remarks and dismisses critics calling for her to be expelled from Congress.

“Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) is under fire for declaring that her native homeland of Somalia comes first before the country she was elected to represent.

In an address to Somalian leaders at a hotel in Minnesota, Omar proclaimed (in Somali) that she’s “Somalia first”, followed closely by her allegiance to Islam, before the interests of America.

“We are an organized society, brothers and sister,” Rep. Omar said, according to translated captions. “People of the same blood. People who know they are Somalians first, Muslims second.”

She went on to assure the audience that she will work “from inside the U.S. system” to advance Somalian interests.

“For as long as I am in Congress, Somalia will never be in danger, its waters will not be stolen by Ethiopia or others,” Rep. Omar said. “The U.S. would not dare support anyone against Somalia to steal our land or oceans. Sleep in comfort knowing I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the U.S. system.”

Omar’s brazenly disloyal remarks were condemned by Somaliland Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Rhoda Elmi on Sunday.

The language she employed was regrettably unbecoming of both the office she holds and the constituents she represents,” Elmi said on X. “Her expressions were lacking in common decency and revealed a significant lack of understanding of basic facts.”

This comes amid an ongoing dispute between Somalia and Ethiopia over an area known as Somaliland that Somalia claims as its own.

Prominent conservatives went as far as to accuse Omar of treason and called for her to be expelled from Congress and deported back to Somalia.

Omar defended her comments, saying her words were misinterpreted in the translation and said she “pray” for her detractors’ “sanity”

“I’m done with the military industrial complex!” man shouts at Haley during event in South Carolina.

An angry voter confronted Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley on the campaign trail, criticizing the former South Carolina governor for wanting to fund endless wars at the expense of the American people.

“No new wars!” the man shouted during an event in her home state Monday, adding, “I’m done with the military industrial complex!”

“None of us want new wars,” Haley, a former Boeing board member, responded to the man.

“We know where your money comes from, Nikki. We know,” the man continued, adding, “and we’re sick of the wars. We want America first.”

The man proceeded to rip a Haley campaign sign as she stared blankly at him, before he stormed out of the event.

Haley has been criticized as a neo-con warmonger for her constant support of American military involvement overseas, more recently the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza.

Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy used the point to dress down the former UN Ambassador during a Republican debate last year.

Haley’s record of supporting wars will certainly hurt her chances to win the Republican nomination, especially going against former President Donald Trump, who was one of the few U.S. presidents who did not initiate a new major war during his term.
