Escalating tit-for-tat will continue to spiral, as latest overnight attack against American base in northeast Syria also demonstrates

A key and very evident theme out of the Red Sea is that the US has lost ‘deterrence’ and perhaps never had it to begin with. Despite over a dozen waves of large-scale Western coalition attacks on Houthi positions, the Yemeni Shia rebels are vowing more attacks on commercial shipping, as we’ve reported. 

It is the same with Iran-aligned groups in Syria and Iraq, even after the Pentagon on Friday hit 85 targets with 120 bombs. This marked the single biggest US attack on ‘Iranian proxies’ in the region since the Gaza war began, but it didn’t take long for these very groups to strike back.

The “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” as early as Saturday announced it attacked bases that house US soldiers in Erbil; however, some local sources have disputed that the attack took place, or at least came near where Americans were housed.

Importantly, President Biden in his statement on the Friday strikes underscored “Our response began today. It will continue at times and places of our choosing.”

This means the escalating tit-for-tat will continue to spiral, as the latest overnight attack against an American base in northeast Syria also demonstrates: 

Seven fighters from the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces were killed in an attack on an American base in eastern Syria overnight, a war monitor said Monday.

Seven SDF special forces “commandos” were killed and 18 others wounded in “a drone attack after midnight” on the Al-Omar oil field, the largest US-led coalition base in the country, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, updating an earlier toll.

One UK-based war monitor concluded that it marked the first major “attack by pro-Iran groups against American bases after the US strikes on Syria and Iraq.”

Al-Omar has come to symbolize the years-long US military occupation of Syria’s only oil and gas rich region, which before the war was an area producing just enough energy for Syria’s domestic consumption. The Pentagon has used it as a base of operations to train its local proxy, the Kurdish-dominated SDF. 

While the Pentagon officially maintains this is still part of the ‘counter-ISIS’ mission, the reality is that it has long been a counter-Iran mission, and part of ongoing efforts to isolate and punish the Assad government. Essentially it is resource theft which seeks to deny the ‘pro-Iran axis’ access to its own natural resources. 

In the wake of this latest attack in eastern Syria, US officials have said Washington has a right to respond to the aggression. Such attacks on American outposts in this region are nothing new, but this is certainly one of the deadliest. It follows a week ago the deaths of three US Army soldiers at Tower 22 base on the Syria-Jordan border.

In the new Al-Omar attack, there doesn’t appear to have been any American casualties, or at least none which have been publicly disclosed.

Democrats threatening lives of American soldiers unless they get more tax dollars for illegal immigrants, Ukraine and Israel

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer told Morning Joe on Monday the United States could end up sending troops to fight in a war against Russia or in the Middle East if Congress doesn’t pass the latest “national security” bill he has proposed alongside RINO senators.

He told the MSNBC audience, “This bill is crucial and history will look back and say, ‘Did America fail itself?’ Why is it crucial? Well, if we don’t aid Ukraine, Putin will walk all over Ukraine, we will lose the war and we could be fighting a war in Eastern Europe in a NATO ally in a few years. Americans won’t like that.”

It’s worth mentioning Schumer stated “we” will lose the war despite the fact America is simply using Ukrainian soldiers (and forcibly conscripted citizens) as proxies to fight Russia without committing to sending U.S. troops.

Next, the Senate leader claimed America has to send money to Israel to “defend itself against Hamas” while also sending money to “starving Palestinians in Gaza.”

Schumer briefly mentioned the “chaos” at the U.S. southern border as another reason to pass the bill, without detailing how it would help stop illegal immigration.

Of course, the proposal would actually allow millions of illegals into the country and provide financial incentives for the NGOs helping people from across the world enter America.

The Democrat politician also claimed if the bill isn’t passed, “war in the Middle East will get worse, maybe bringing us into it…”

Alex Jones commented on the interview, writing, “Schumer is criminally insane.”

The world’s richest man unleashed a virtual onslaught against Biden’s open borders

A new “Border Security” bill, which comes as part of a national security funding package sending more tax dollars to both Ukraine and Israel, is being slammed by ? owner Elon Musk.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said he hopes to hold a Senate vote on the deal sometime this week, adding, “The deal creates a real opportunity for Congress to address our borders and make progress to a more efficient and well-resourced system.”

However, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) told America on Sunday evening he’s “seen enough” and that the bill is “even worse” than expected, declaring it “dead on arrival” if it reaches the House.

Also taking to social media Sunday night, Musk commented on the bill, writing, “The long-term goal of the so-called ‘Border Security’ bill is enabling illegals to vote! It will do the total opposite of securing the border.”

Responding to a comment on his post noting illegals receiving a free government ID could then register to vote, Musk pointed out, “Many states automatically register anyone with a driver’s license to vote (no citizenship verification), ballots are then mailed out and ‘ballot harvesters’ pick them up mail them in, making fraud traceability impossible.”

Another post Musk commented on explained the proposed bill would award and continue to pay tax dollars to non-governmental organizations facilitating the illegal immigration pipeline into America in lockstep with the UN and China.

“NGO personnel who deliberately and repeatedly broke the law to facilitate illegal immigration should face prosecution immediately!” he wrote, sharing the original post.

The Tesla CEO also brought attention to a “well-summarized” take on the border bill by Greg Price that stated, “Not only does this bill codify 1.5 million illegal border crossings into law, but the ‘border emergency’ that automatically gets implemented at 5,000 crossings per day in a week can be overturned by Joe Biden. And in case 1.5 million illegals isn’t enough, it also locks in green card giveaways through 2030.”

“The wonderful ‘bipartisan’ comprise cooked up by Mitch McConnell and James Lankford is that America will send $60B more to Ukraine in exchange for a population the size of Phoenix, Arizona to cross into our country every single year,” Price added.

Musk later shared a shocking 60 Minutes segment showing hoards of Chinese nationals coming through a secret opening in a California border wall thanks to an instructional TikTok video directing them to seek Border Patrol after illegally entering America.

The bill is so backwards, Musk and others concluded it actually acts as “a massive monetary incentive to *increase* the flow of illegals!”

Continuing his posting rampage, Musk commented on an NBC News interview where Speaker Johnson said Joe Biden intentionally created the border catastrophe and refuses to take action to stop the invasion.

The bill was labeled a “major scam” by Musk in response to a viral post exposing the flawed proposal point by point.

Daily Wire writer Matt Walsh wrote, “For those keeping track at home, that’s almost 400 percent more tax money for foreign countries than for our own country,” with musk commenting, “!!”

The insane border post spree continued with Musk bringing attention to the fact Washington state lawmakers used hundreds of millions of tax dollars set aside for Covid funds to give checks to illegals.

With a staggering 171.2 million followers, there’s no telling how many people Musk is reaching by flooding his social media app with the truth about the globalist-run invasion and planned collapse of The United States.

Hammoud said the reason behind police officers increasing their presence across places of worship and major infrastructure points followed a Wall Street Journal opinion piece calling Dearborn “America’s Jihad Capital.”

New York could flip to Republicans due to migrant-related problems, the former president has claimed

Donald Trump has praised former US President Dwight D. Eisenhower for his mass deportation of illegal immigrants in the 1950s, insisting again that he will deploy similar tactics if reelected this year.  

Eisenhower was “very strong on deportation,” Trump told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo in an interview aired on Sunday. The former US leader’s military-style expulsion campaign in the summer of 1953 affected as many as 1.3 million people, making the program the largest of its kind in American history. Trump is seeking to surpass Eisenhower if elected president in November. 

“He dropped them [immigrants] very close to the border, and they came back. Then he dropped them 2,000 miles away, and they didn’t come back,” Trump said, describing the Eisenhower administration’s tactics. 

The Eisenhower-era ‘Operation Wetback’ was intended to address public discontent with foreign workers, predominantly Mexican nationals, who had moved to the US in large numbers a decade earlier in response to a labor shortage caused by the World War II military draft. The name derived from a disparaging term for illegal Mexican workers employed by US farm owners in border states.

The estimate of 1.3 million deportees was the upper figure provided by US officials, although historians have disputed its accuracy. The actual number may have been be closer to 300,000, studies have suggested. Nevertheless, the campaign was accused of being unnecessarily cruel and sometimes fatal for expelled workers, who were hauled out of the country in crammed buses, boats, and planes. 

Playing on anti-immigrant sentiment helped lead Trump to electoral success in 2016, and the Republican frontrunner has made the issue part of his current bid for a return to the White House.  

In his interview with Fox, Trump claimed Latin American governments were “sending people … that they don’t want” across the US border. He also alleged that China was encouraging the crossings, predicting that this would result in a “terrorist attack, 100%.” 

The former US leader also commented on the high-profile incident in New York last month, in which a group of migrants was filmed attacking police officers in Times Square while one of them was being arrested. The assault caused a nationwide uproar, with politicians on both sides of the political aisle calling for the perpetrators to be deported.

Trump condemned the attack and suggested that the crime rate in New York City, which he linked to the border situation, could cause its traditionally Democratic constituents to turn Republican. 

“The people of New York are angry. People that would have never voted for me because I’m a Republican,” Trump said. “I think they’re going to vote for me. So I think we’re going to give New York a heavy shot.”
