If regional instability risks continue to spread across the Middle East, other critical chokepoints could be affected and accelerate snarled global supply chains

President Biden’s Operation Prosperity Guardian to shield commercial vessels in the Red Sea, along with US and UK bombing raids across the Middle East, have yet to stop Iran-backed Houthi rebel attacks around the Bab al-Mandab Strait. 

On Tuesday morning, Houthi rebels fired “projectiles” at two commercial vessels, striking one, highlighting the ongoing risks of sailing through the Red Sea. 

Japanese shipping giant Mitsui OSK Lines Ltd. issued a warning today that shipping disruptions might extend for up to a year, indicating that expectations for short-term disruptions are quickly fading. 

“It’s a historic event,” President Takeshi Hashimoto said in an interview, quoted by Bloomberg.

Hashimoto said, “The situation will continue at least for the coming two or three months. And as a worst-case scenario, six months or one year.”

He pointed out that there’s enough shipping capacity to weather current supply chain disruptions. Still, he warned that if the global economy suddenly expanded, it could spark a shortage of shipping capacity. 

Mitsui OSK Lines has about 800 vessels in its fleet. It said last month that all transits through the Red Sea were halted due to Houthi drone and missile attacks on commercial vessels.

Two weeks ago, MUFG Bank warned clients that “higher friction geopolitics” jeopardizes maritime chokepoints.

Last week, Deutsche Bank Research warned clients: “Red alert 101: Tension in the global supply chain.”

Elon Musk warning United States is being destroyed by unprecedented mass migration from across globe

The richest man in the world, African-American Elon Musk, has become interested in the border situation lately.

It sure seems that Elon is “getting it.”

It’s a great development.

For so long we have been trying to educate the public about what is really going on immigration-wise. It’s hard because we have the mainstream media against us. But we keep trying.

Recently, the utter outrageousness of the Biden Border Invasion has awakened many, among them Elon Musk.

Consider some things Elon has posted on X, his own platform, in just the last few days:

• Elon retweeted a video clip showing ‘honest liberal’ Bill Maher saying that President Biden doesn’t need a new law to fix the border – he already can. “Bill Maher is absolutely right,” Elon commented.

• Elon explained how illegal aliens confer political power upon the states in which they reside: “Most people in America don’t know that the census is based on a simple headcount of people (including illegals) *not* just citizens. This shifts political power and money to states and Congressional districts with the highest number of illegals.”

• Musk explained some of the benefits of being an illegal alien in America: “A few other things you probably don’t know: illegals in America can get bank loans, mortgages, insurance, driver’s licenses, free healthcare (California & New York) and in-state college tuition. What’s the point of being a citizen if an illegal gets all the benefits, but doesn’t pay taxes or do jury duty?”
  
  “If you’re wondering why housing is so expensive, this is a major contributor,” Elon replied to his original tweet.

• Musk still supports high legal immigration, tweeting this: “As a reminder, I am very much PRO increasing legal immigration significantly. I’m not anti-immigration, I’m just against a massive number of unvetted people flooding into America, which any rational person should be.”

I disagree with Musk on legal immigration, which I think should be drastically reduced.

But today’s situation at the border should be objectionable even to mass legal immigration boosters. Even Musk understands that you obviously can’t have “a massive number of unvetted people flooding into America.”

Many users pointed out problems with mass legal immigration in replies to Musk’s tweet about the subject.

“No. Train existing citizens to work in your factories. America is not just an economic zone for your convenience,” user Way of the World wrote.

“Being invaded isn’t better if it’s legalized,” user Aristophanes replied.

• Most importantly for this moment in time, Elon Musk understands the true purpose of the Biden Border Invasion, and spells it out here: “Biden’s strategy is very simple:1. Get as many illegals in the country as possible.2. Legalize them to create a permanent majority – a one-party state.That is why they are encouraging so much illegal immigration. Simple, yet effective.”
  
  “This explains why there are so few deportations, as every deportation is a lost vote. As happened this week, you can literally assault police officers in broad daylight in New York, be released with no bail, give everyone the finger and *still* not be deported!! Outrageous.”

The next day Musk again referred to the goal of gaining votes:
