Reps. Jamie Raskin, Eric Swalwell, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz leading contingency plan to remove Trump from ballot in wake of Supreme Court’s 9-0 decision.

House Democrats are refusing to accept the Supreme Court’s unanimous ruling that former President Donald Trump can remain on the 2024 ballot.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) joined CNN on Monday to announce that he and other House Democrats plan to “revive legislation” that would force Trump off the 2024 ballot regardless of the Supreme Court’s 9-0 ruling.

“I am working with a number of my colleagues like Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and Eric Swalwell to revive legislation that we had to set up a process by which we could determine that someone who committed an insurrection is disqualified by Section 3 of the 14th Amendment,” Raskin said.

“And the House of Representatives already impeached Donald Trump for participating in an insurrection by inciting it,” he said, referring to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

The Supreme Court’s nine justices unanimously overruled the Colorado Supreme Court that barred Trump from the state’s primary ballot by claiming he incited an insurrection on January 6th.

“For the reasons given, responsibility for enforcing Section 3 against federal officeholders and candidates rests with Congress and not the States,” the Supreme Court opinion read. “The judgment of the Colorado Supreme Court therefore cannot stand. All nine Members of the Court agree with that result.”

It appears that House Democrats are taking the SCOTUS ruling to heart and are planning to enforce Section 3 of the 14th Amendment themselves, which will be a unique challenge given Republicans hold a thin majority in the House.

Corporate media has also floated a strategy for House Democrats to refuse to certify Trump for office if he is reelected president in November.

Democrats are willing to try every means possible of stopping Trump from retaking office — except actually allowing the American people to vote for their chosen candidate in a fair election.

In other words, Democrats are doing everything they can to stop democracy.

The continuing erosion of the dollar’s value makes it impossible for many Americans to accumulate meaningful savings.

According to the Federal Reserve, credit card delinquencies increased by 50 percent in 2023, while consumer debt grew to 17.5 trillion dollars. A recent survey by Clever Real Estate found that three in five Americans have credit card debt and that 23 percent of Americans increase their credit card debt every month. The survey also found that 48 percent of Americans (including 59 percent of millennials) use credit cards for essential living expenses.

The overreliance on credit cards and the accompanying increase in consumer debt are consequences of our fiat money system. Since Richard Nixon severed the last link between the dollar and gold in August of 1971, the dollar’s value has declined by 87 percent based on the government’s understated Consumer Price Index numbers. This means that even though Americans’ nominal wages have increased, their real wages have declined as their dollars buy less.

The continuing erosion of the dollar’s value makes it impossible for many Americans to accumulate meaningful savings. Those Americans who can save may actually lose money by doing so thanks to the Federal Reserve’s inflation tax that erodes the value of savings. This is why Congress has felt it necessary to provide tax incentives to encourage saving for things like retirement, education, and health care.

Congress could help protect Americans from the inflation tax by forbidding the Federal Reserve from purchasing government debt instruments such as Treasury securities. However, since this would end Congress’s ability to run up huge deficits, thus forcing it to pare back the welfare-warfare state, it is unlikely such legislation would pass.

The reliance of so many Americans on credit cards for basic necessities is one reason why many Americans are dissatisfied with the economy. The large amount of consumer debt is also a reason the Federal Reserve will not increase interest rates to anywhere near what they would be in a free market. The problem is compounded by the fact that investors and businesses have become addicted to near zero or at zero interest rates. The Fed’s relatively modest rate increases over the last couple years caused many “experts” to warn that the Fed was going to throw the economy into a recession. The Fed, though, has been able to claim recession has been avoided because the Fed kept the rates relatively low, and because government statistics are manipulated to understate the real rates of unemployment and inflation.

The Fed cannot indefinitely keep interest rates low without causing a dollar crisis. This will either be caused by, or result in, a rejection of the dollar’s world reserve currency status. At that point, interest rates will skyrocket and consumers and businesses that have been relying on debt to cope with the Fed’s dollar destruction will find the piper at their doors, demanding to be paid.

The economic crisis will be worsened by the moral crisis caused by the belief among too many Americans at all levels of society that they have a right to government-provided economic security at the expense of their fellow citizens. This will result in violence and the growth of authoritarian political movements.

The collapse of the fiat money system and the accompanying welfare-warfare state also provide an opportunity for those of us who understand the truth to build a society based around the principles of liberty. We must continue our efforts to reach a critical mass of people with the message of liberty while making plans to ensure our families can take care of themselves when the next crash occurs.

President Biden has sent Vice President Kamala Harris out before the world to do his dirty work of desperately trying to reign Israel in as the US administration faces rising global criticism for its unwillingness to attach humanitarian conditions to weapons given to Israel for use in Gaza amid a soaring civilian death toll.

Harris has issued a call for a six-week ceasefire at a moment Israel is boycotting ceasefire talks in Cairo. Harris spoke Sunday in front of the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama – scene of state troopers beating civil rights marchers almost 60 years ago. Her comments on the Gaza crisis appear to be the most direct and biting criticisms yet from any Biden admin official aimed at Israel. 

She said Israel isn’t doing enough to negate the unfolding “humanitarian catastrophe” amid “inhumane” conditions in the Gaza Strip. Some of her statements, especially the immediate call to implement ceasefire, gained loud cheers from the crowd at the bridge.

“Given the immense scale of suffering in Gaza there must be an immediate ceasefire,” Harris said. “For at least the next six weeks, which is what currently is on the table.” Gaza health officials have said the death toll has surpassed 30,000 at this point, and is mostly civilians. “The conditions are inhumane and our common humanity compels us to act,” she said at one point.

“Hamas claims it wants a ceasefire. Well, there is a deal on the table. And as we have said, Hamas needs to agree to that deal,” she continued of talks in Cairo. “Let’s get a ceasefire. Let’s reunite the hostages with their families. And let’s provide immediate relief to the people of Gaza.”

She even then tied the suffering of Gazans to the cause of the historic civil rights struggle in the United States:

“People in Gaza are starving. The conditions are inhumane and our common humanity compels us to act,” Harris said at an event to commemorate the 59th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday” in Alabama. “Our hearts break for… all the innocent people in Gaza who are suffering from what is clearly a humanitarian catastrophe.”

Revealing deep Biden administration frustrations over Israel’s handling of the war against Hamas, she said: “The Israeli government must do more to significantly increase the flow of aid. No excuses.”

“They must not impose any unnecessary restrictions on the delivery of aid.  They must ensure humanitarian personnel, sites, and convoys are not targeted.” The latter reference was to last week’s deadly aid convoy incident which resulted in the deaths of over 100 civilians. Some were shot by Israeli forces as they attempted to access food. The US vice president called called “more food, water and fuel can reach those in need.”

The US joined Jordan over the weekend in providing airdrops for the increasingly hungry population. But critics warned that the aid delivered was but a drop in the bucket of what’s needed for over two million people.

So far at least, Israel looks completely unfazed in its stance in the face of Harris’ words. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant addressed troops at Israel’s southern border on Sunday. “We will not end this war without eliminating Hamas. There will be no such situation,” he said, echoing Netanyahu’s own pledges. “There will be no Hamas as a ruling organization. It will take the time it takes.”

Major victory for MAGA movement comes just ahead of Super Tuesday

The United States Supreme Court ruled in favor of GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump on Monday, allowing his name to appear on 2024 primary ballots in states where Democrats tried to disqualify him from running for office.

The ruling comes just one day before the Super Tuesday primaries taking place across the country and signals a huge victory of the Trump campaign.

The decision was made unanimously by the Supreme Court’s nine justices, overruling the Colorado Supreme Court that barred Trump from the state’s primary ballot by claiming he incited an insurrection on January 6th.

Trump now has the greenlight to be named on ballots in every state despite the Democrat attempts at thwarting his return to the White House.

As a journalist, I reach out to those that I have covered in the past often. One of those individuals is political prisoners Enrique Tarrio.

Tarrio did not go to the “Stop The Steal Rally” on January 6, but the regime’s DOJ took Tarrio’s speech and used it against him in court. As a result, a bias liberal jury found him guilt of whatever the DOJ wanted to accuse him of.

It’s important to note that Tarrio spent over two years sitting in solitary confinement while in a D.C. jail. Tarrio is currently sitting in a Kentucky prison serving a 22 year sentence. It’s important to remember the DOJ is also currently appealing Tarrio’s sentence. They wanted 32 years and they are asking the courts to reexamine his sentence. 22 years isn’t long enough for the DOJ.

Tarrio sent me this well-written email the other day. I think it’s important to share this with the world. It debunks their narrative on what kind of man Tarrio is. I am sharing this at my own discretion after Tarrio privately sent it to me.

Maybe if I was mute deaf and blind I can be persuaded that there is genuine outrage at President Trumps recent comments comparing himself to Alexei Navalny. As a person who is currently held in a remote federal prison that sits on top of a mountain 1300 miles away from home in the middle of nowhere behind multiple barbed fences and concrete walls for the next 20 years of my life (Navalny was sentenced to 19…Me? 22.) for expressing my views on Joe Biden and the 2020 election, I think I’m the most qualified person in the United States to speak on this.

President Trump is not only correct in his comparison but he also hits the mark when it comes to his and others persecution and detainment under the Biden/Garland regime. I do believe no one is above the law and I have stated multiple times I do not condone some of the things Isaw happen on January 6th. I believe that those that caused damage and assaulted others should be prosecuted equally under the law. But this is not what we have seen in ANY of these cases, from Trumps 4 criminal trials to the hundreds of cases revolving around the events at the Capitol. In EVERY SINGLE case we have seen novel uses of the law, Exculpatory evidence withheld, Defense witnesses threatened by federal agents with indictment, FBI agents violating attorney client privileges’ and judges with no regard for precedents.

I do believe President Trump has Presidential immunity In every single one of these cases. Even if he did not, I think most people would agree that when deciding to bring charges on a former President and the nominee for the opposing party, there must be absolute clarity when it comes to the charges. There can be no wiggle room and there cannot be a HINT of bias. Not only has the Biden/Garland regime crap their judicial Depends they’ve also crapped on the ENTIRE judicial system.

The supreme court will hear multiple cases involving President Trump in the coming months. Even barring their final rulings, this alone already proves how weak these cases are and does nothing for Americans faith in an unbiased and fair Justice system. I have been accused of “Trying to wreck the faith in our institutions” per Politico which is an absolute farce. If that were the case both Biden and Garland have made me look like i brought a bicycle to an F1 race. I want our institutions to work. There is no peace without justice. Those that truly respect and honor the rule law should want no part in these show trials that we’re witnessing.

There is nothing I want more than to see our country unite again to see it prosper again and to simply be able to disagree with my fellow Americans without the over the top theatrics we’ve seen since 2008. We need to heal. In order to do that we need to stop advocating for the weaponization of our institutions for political gain and fundraisers. These trials on President Donald Trump and his supporters must be put to an end.

President Biden promised in late November 2020 to unite our country. He has failed on that promise. If President Trump is elected at the end of this year he should premptively pardon Joe Biden and his son Hunter for their crimes. Not because they deserve it but because the American people need a Uniter in Chief. And the country needs to move on from the past 4 years of vindictive prosecution and the jailing of anyone critical of the current administration.

While many media personalities are concerned with the recent death of Alexei Navalny It leaves me wondering if they see the irony. Is the government trying to cause another disaster?

On Sunday night, Congressional negotiators revealed a bill which will fund key parts of the government through the rest of the fiscal year which began in October.

The 1,050-page legislation sets a discretionary spending level of $1.66 trillion for FY24, which comes just days after lawmakers passed the fourth stopgap measure since Oct. 1 to keep the government funded a bit longer.

According to Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer’s office, the bill “maintains the aggressive investments Democrats secured for American families, American workers, and America’s national defense.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson said in a statement that “House Republicans secured key conservative policy victories, rejected left-wing proposals, and imposed sharp cuts to agencies and programs critical to the President Biden’s agenda.”

But what neither of them mention is that the bill also nukes the entire Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve – which, at roughly 1 million barrels, is too small to matter on a national scale – but which could serve as a critical cache of energy in the event of another major disaster.

The Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve was established in 2014 following Hurricane Sandy, which cut through refineries and fuel terminals resulting in fuel shortages in some parts of the northeast. The rationale for draining it is that it “does not have the operational functionality that was envisioned post-Sandy,” former President Trump said of the supply in 2017.

What’s more, once the reserve is drained, the bill mandates that the entire thing will be shut down.

Then, the bill makes it even harder to establish regional reserves in the future – requiring several new layers of red tape. 

Is the government trying to cause another disaster?This supply is so small but crucial for its intended purpose that we’re in ‘just why?’ territory.
