Tucker Carlson Was Right! Rep. Crenshaw LIED About Intel Agencies Manipulating U.S. News Coverage
Tucker Carlson and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) got into a spat last week over the TikTok ban bill, with the former Fox News host calling the Texas congressman a “liar” for claiming that U.S. intelligence agencies don’t meddle in domestic news coverage.
Carlson highlighted Crenshaw’s defense of the bill, specifically his remark that the intelligence community doesn’t manipulate U.S. news coverage.

Crenshaw predictably fired back on X, claiming Tucker was simply “lying for attention” and that the TikTok ban bill wouldn’t grant the federal government the ability to shut down news outlets.
But Tucker Carlson is RIGHT: Crenshaw’s particular comment that U.S. intelligence agencies don’t meddle in domestic news coverage is a spectacularly demonstrable whopper of a lie.

The Smith-Mundt Act of 1948, which authorized the State Department to propagandize foreign countries as a matter of public diplomacy, was amended in 2012 by the Obama administration to direct the use of propaganda towards U.S. citizens.
But even before that, the CIA attempted to manipulate domestic American news media organizations for propaganda purposes during its Operation Mockingbird program, which began in the early years of the Cold War.
But amending of the Smith-Mundt Act in 2012 opened the floodgates for the CIA and other intelligence agencies to conduct sweeping psychological and propaganda operations against the American people.
Here are a few examples from just the last few years alone.
Russia Collusion Hoax
It recently was revealed that CIA Director Brennan had foreign intelligence agencies illegally spy on Donald Trump and his associates during his 2016 campaign, long before the FBI launched its bogus “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation, which the media used to smear Trump as a “Russian agent” for years during his term.
Former FBI Director James Comey in 2017 also secretly orchestrated a “leak” to The New York Times of negative memos he said he wrote about President Trump, with the motive of spurring the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller to investigate the president’s alleged Russia ties, which lasted three years and provided plenty of baseless anti-Trump headlines.
Meanwhile, the Russia collusion hoax was used by Congress to ratify the Countering Foreign Propaganda and Disinformation Act in 2016, which inevitably has been directed against the American people.
Hunter Biden Laptop
In October 2020, Hunter Biden’s “Laptop from Hell” was published by the New York Post, containing damning revelations of shady foreign business dealings involving the Biden family.
But 50 former intelligence officials penned a letter dismissing the report on Hunter’s laptop as “Russian disinformation” and the federal government coordinated with social media companies to censor the report, which tangibly effected the outcome of the 2020 election.
That campaign is now widely recognized as election interference by the intelligence community.
COVID Plandemic
The COVID pandemic was a large-scale psychological and biological warfare operation by world government health agencies, intelligence agencies, the U.S. military, and the corporate media to coerce billions of people to take an experimental gene therapy injection and reorient the global economy towards the globalist “Great Reset” model.
During the years-long campaign, it was revealed that the CIA bribed analysts and journalists to lie about the origins of the COVID-19 Wuhan lab leak.
A federal court also found the Biden regime coordinated with Big Tech companies to censor any dissent against lockdowns, the experimental vaccines, alternative Covid treatments, masks, and more to curate the news narrative as they saw fit.
Trump himself recognized the pattern, and last June accused the intelligence agencies of running “illegal psychological warfare operations against the American people” for the last 7 years with the help of the media following his slew of indictments brought forward by leftist DAs and special counsel Jack Smith.

“It’s all been a battle of disinformation. One thing after the other, and all to protect the radical left misfits,” he added.
Remember, former CIA Director Mike Pompeo even gave away the game in 2019 when he admitted that the CIA lies to the American people on a routine basis.

An Austrian activist was arrested by police in Switzerland on Saturday for giving a presentation against mass migration.
Martin Sellner, the leader of the Identitarian Movement of Austria, was preparing to deliver a presentation from his book about deporting illegal migrants when Canton of Aargau authorities shut off the lights and proceeded to arrest him.
“Today the police in the Kanton of Aargau, Switzerland stormed a speech, turned off the electricity, handcuffed me and performed a push back. I am not allowed to enter Aargau for 2 months. The reason? I presented my book about #remigration. The police claimed that this presentation was a danger to Swiss security and public order,” Sellner wrote on X, where he included a video of the incident.

“According to the police, it was the first push back like this in 10 years, while 50,000 Illegals entered the country in 2023!”
“This is a disgrace to Swiss democracy. But it still is a win for our movement. They can handcuff me, but not our ideas. Remigration is inevitable!” he added.
This authoritarian incident caught the attention of X owner Elon Musk, who asked, “Is this legal?”

As Sellner noted, Switzerland saw over 50,000 illegal migrants cross the border in 2023, the majority of which came from Afghanistan.
“Migrants from Afghanistan represented the lion’s share of the figures published on Wednesday – almost one in three of those stopped at Switzerland’s borders. They were followed by nationals from Morocco and Turkey, each accounted for one in eight undocumented stays,” Swiss Info reported in January.

Shock Video: Teen Suspect With Seven Active Warrants Pulls Gun on Spring Breakers at Florida Beach
Authorities disarmed a teen suspect who pulled a gun on spring breakers on a beach in Florida this week, according to reports.
The harrowing incident unfolded at around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday in New Smyrna Beach, located approximately 15 miles south of Daytona Beach.
Volusia County Sheriff’s (VCS) deputies on patrol witnessed a fight break out on the sand before a male suspect drew a firearm and began pointing it at people.
Deputies immediately sprang into action, charging after the suspect as he attempted to flee.
Body-mounted camera footage has been published by VCS along with information about the arrest.
Deputies can be seen chasing the suspect down the beach as bystanders and a lifeguard run to safety.
He eventually headed toward the ocean, throwing a gun and bag into the water before surrendering.
Deputies recovered the weapon and tote and discovered 20 small baggies of marijuana inside.
The suspect was identified as Felixander Solis-Guzman, 16, of Lakeland, Florida.
“Felixander was charged with 3 counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of a firearm by a person under 18, improper exhibition of a firearm, commission of a 2nd degree felony with a weapon, resisting a law enforcement officer, 2 counts of tampering with evidence, and sale of marijuana,” VCS said in a statement.
“In addition to his new charges, Felixander was also arrested on 7 active no-bond warrants out of Orange County, including robbery with a firearm and violation of his probation. He was taken to the Volusia Family Resource Center for processing before transport to the Department of Juvenile Justice.”

‘NATO’s Going to Suffer Defeat’ in Proxy War With Russia, Analyst Says
President Vladimir Putin earlier touted the Russian troops’ successful offensive in several areas in the special military operation zone, where they have liberated new territories from Ukrainian nationalists.
“It’s becoming manifestly clear to more and more people that Kiev is gonna lose the war,” John Mearsheimer, an American political scientist and Professor at the University of Chicago, told the YouTube channel Duran, referring to the Ukraine conflict.
“We can talk about exactly what it means ‘cause that is a very complicated issue, but there’s no question that […] the Russians are going to win,” while Ukraine “is going to suffer a defeat and indeed NATO’s gonna suffer a defeat as well,” Mearsheimer pointed out.

According to the pundit, “there’s no plausible strategy” for Kiev and Brussels to rectify the situation, something that he said is a “huge problem and a devastating defeat for the West.”
What’s more, there are “no formidable military forces in Europe” that could fight in Ukraine or “even provide much deterrence” to Kiev without US support, the professor added.
The comments come after French President Emmanuel Macron recently said in an interview that he doesn’t rule out a potential scenario of his country’s military conducting an operation to “confront Russian troops” in Ukraine.
Moscow responded by making it clear that such a development would inevitably lead to a direct military conflict between Russia and NATO. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called discussing the possibility of sending “certain contingents to Ukraine an important new element of rhetoric.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin, for his part, warned that the possible deployment of a European military contingent to Ukraine would not change the situation on the battlefield and would only lead to serious consequences for the Kiev regime.
European head of states, NATO leadership and the White House, in turn were quick to say that they were not considering sending their militaries to Ukraine, with France’s Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne not ruling out that the French military could be send there for demining operations and weapons production on Ukrainian territory.
In a separate development, Putin stressed during last month’s State of the Nation address to parliament that Russian forces are “firmly holding the initiative” and are successfully advancing in a spate of operational areas in the special military operation zone.”
