‘Unconstitutional’: DOJ Announces Red Flag Center To Limit Gun Access From Americans
The Department of Justice announced the launch of the National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center aimed at preventing individuals from purchasing or possessing firearms.
The DOJ’s announcement came just hours after the Senate and House passed a $1.2 trillion government spending bill on Saturday.

The Justice Department launched the National Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) Resource Center (the Center) which will provide training and technical assistance to law enforcement officials, prosecutors, attorneys, judges, clinicians, victim service and social service providers, community organizations, and behavioral health professionals responsible for implementing laws designed to keep guns out of the hands of people who pose a threat to themselves or others.
“The launch of the National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center will provide our partners across the country with valuable resources to keep firearms out of the hands of individuals who pose a threat to themselves or others,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “The establishment of the Center is the latest example of the Justice Department’s work to use every tool provided by the landmark Bipartisan Safer Communities Act to protect communities from gun violence.”
ERPO laws, which are modeled off domestic violence protection orders, create a civil process allowing law enforcement, family members (in most states), and medical professionals or other groups (in some states) to petition a court to temporarily prohibit someone at risk of harming themselves or others from purchasing and possessing firearms for the duration of the order.
In other words, the government will be granted the authority to confiscate firearms or prevent individuals from purchasing them if medical professionals, family members, or law enforcement arbitrarily declares that they pose a threat.
Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), and many others raised the alarm over the creation of a “federal red flag center,” citing its lack of constitutional authority.

Video: First Interrogation of Suspected Terrorist in Moscow Concert Hall Attack
RT’s editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan has posted a video clip of the interrogation of one of the suspected terrorists behind Friday’s shooting spree at Crocus City concert hall near Moscow.
Earlier on Saturday, Russia’s FSB security service confirmed that eleven suspects, including four of the alleged perpetrators, had been detained in Bryansk Region, not far from the Ukrainian border.
The footage shows a bearded man lying on the ground and describing in broken Russian how he’d been paid to commit the terrorist attack.
The man says that before committing Friday’s atrocity, he had been to Türkiye. When asked what he did at the Crocus City concert venue on Friday evening, he replied: “I shot down… people.” The suspect added that he had committed the crime “for money,” detailing that he had been promised 500,000 rubles ($5,418).
The alleged perpetrator claimed that half the sum had already been transferred to his debit card.
The man also said that the curators, whom he supposedly does not know personally, had contacted him via Telegram messaging app, and arranged an arms cache for the assailants.
According to the suspect, he had been “listening to sermons… by a preacher” on Telegram for some time before being approached by the supposed masterminds of Friday’s attack “around a month ago.”
Shortly after publishing the first video clip, Simonyan posted more footage, in this instance depicting another suspected terrorist speaking through an interpreter.
The man describes how an acquaintance who he’d befriended on Telegram “ten to twelve days ago” had purchased a car, presumably with a view to using it as a taxi.
The terrorist attack, which, according to preliminary estimates, has left 115 dead and over 120 injured, occurred on Friday evening at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, on the western outskirts of the Russian capital. The concert venue, with an estimated capacity of 7,500, was nearly full when the terrorists burst into the building.
After gunning down dozens of fleeing patrons, the assailants then set fire to rows of chairs inside the hall. The blaze quickly engulfed much of the building, including its roof.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday addressed the nation about the Crocus City Hall shooting, denouncing it as a “bloody and barbaric” terrorist attack and vowing to punish all involved. At least 115 people have been killed and over 120 wounded in Friday evening’s massacre.
In his video address, the president declared a national day of mourning on Sunday, March 24, to commemorate the victims of the attack.
Putin expressed his gratitude to all first responders, to law enforcement, and to ordinary citizens, too, who helped the victims of the attack. At the same time, the president stressed another effort is underway, focused on the prevention of any further attacks.
”In Moscow and Moscow Region, in all regions of the country, additional anti-terrorism and anti-saboteur measures have been introduced,” he announced, adding: “The main thing now is to prevent those who are behind this bloodbath from committing a new crime.”
Vowing to punish all conspirators behind Friday night’s attack, Putin noted that, so far, 11 suspects, including four perpetrators who directly participated in the shooting spree, have been detained. The attackers were caught fleeing “towards Ukraine, where, according to preliminary data, a window to cross the border was prepared on the Ukrainian side,” he added.
“All perpetrators, organizers and masterminds behind this crime will get just and inevitable punishment. Whoever they are, whoever guides them. I repeat: we will identify and punish everyone who stands behind the terrorists, who prepared this atrocity, this attack on Russia, on our people,” the president stated.
Crocus City Hall, in the town of Krasnogorsk in Moscow’s western outskirts, was attacked by gunmen on Friday evening. Just before a concert by Russian rock band Picnic, when the venue, which has an estimated capacity of 7,500, was nearly full. The attackers, armed with assault rifles, breached the venue entrances, shooting patrons at point-blank range then setting the building on fire, before fleeing the scene.

Shock Video: Man Arrested for Removing, ‘Eating’ Severed Human Leg Near Train Accident in California
Authorities in California apprehended a man with outstanding warrants who was seen removing a severed human leg from the scene of an accident and apparently taking a bite out of it, according to reports.
The shocking incident unfolded on Friday morning in Wasco, a city in Kern County approximately 25 miles from Bakersfield.
Kern County Sheriff’s deputies were called by BNSF Railroad police after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a train near the Amtrak Station, Bakersfield Now reports.
While deputies were investigating, they learned a man had apparently walked off with one of the victim’s legs, which had been severed in the accident.
Footage circulating on social media purportedly shows the suspect holding the human limb on a sidewalk near the train tracks.
