IDF Confirms ‘Minor Damage’ to Military Base

Iran launched more than 300 drones and missiles against Israel, the military has said

Israel and its allies shot down the vast majority of drones and missiles fired by Iran overnight, with just a single military base sustaining minor damage to its infrastructure, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Sunday.

Tehran launched a multi-wave air raid against Israel on Saturday evening in response to an airstrike on an Iranian diplomatic compound in Syria, which killed seven members of Tehran’s military, including two generals. While Israel has remained silent on the airstrike – its usual habit after extraterritorial assassinations – Tehran has accused the IDF of attacking its embassy.

More than 300 drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles were fired from Iran overnight, the IDF said in a press release on Sunday morning.

99% of the 300 or so Iranian drones and missiles were intercepted by air defenses, IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Hagari said. He added that of the 170 drones, 30 cruise missiles and 120 ballistic missiles fired at Israel overnight, only a few of the ballistic missiles managed to make it past the IDF’s air defenses, hitting the Nevatim Airbase in southern Israel and inflicting “minor damage.”READ MORE: Iran attacks Israel: Live updates

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, however, called its large-scale attack against Israel a success, claiming that it hit and destroyed several “important military targets,” without providing further details.

Netanyahu Convenes War Cabinet

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed his nation after Iran launched waves of drones towards Israel

Israel is ready to harm whoever harms it, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement early Sunday after Iran launched several waves of drones at Israel in response to the bombing of an Iranian diplomatic compound in Syria.

Tehran accused West Jerusalem of the April 1 airstrike, which killed seven officers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force, including two high-ranking generals. While Israel has kept silent on the matter – its usual policy on extraterritorial assassinations – it is widely believed to have carried out the attack. Iran has vowed to deal Israel a “slap in the face,” with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei saying West Jerusalem “should be punished” and “will be punished.”

Following the launch of Iranian drones and missiles towards Israel on Saturday night, Netanyahu released a video statement in which he announced that West Jerusalem has been preparing for a direct attack by Tehran for years and especially in recent weeks.

“Our defensive systems are deployed; we are ready for any scenario, both defensively and offensively,” he said, thanking the US, UK, France, and other countries for supporting Israel.

“We have determined a clear principle: Whoever harms us, we will harm them.”

Netanyahu has gathered his war cabinet in Tel Aviv, his office wrote on X (formerly Twitter). The team of US President Joe Biden is in constant communication with Israeli officials as the situation unfolds, the White House stated in a press release, reiterating their support for Israel.

The Exodus Continues: Blue Regions Still Bleeding as Residents Escape Democrat Policies

admin Apr 14, 2024 4 min read
If Democrats can’t trick people into staying, they plan to force people to stay.

Can Democrats take a hint?  The answer is obviously no, but with millions of people flooding out of Democrat controlled places and relocating to more conservative regions one might think they would finally get the message.

Blue cities and states across the US have been experiencing a mass exodus of legal residents since before the pandemic event; many of them business owners taking their money (and job opportunities) with them.  The hardest hit states in the country include New York, Illinois and California, with cities like NYC, LA, Chicago and San Francisco seeing some of the most aggressive population shift.  In states like California the standard operating procedure has been to lie about the situation, using the surge of illegal immigrants to hide population loss in the census.

There are a multitude of reasons for the great American migration:  The pandemic lockdowns made many people realize Democrats are inclined towards authoritarian policies and they left because they wanted freedom. Sanctuary status is allowing illegals to flood into blue areas, straining welfare programs and inflating housing costs.  The bureaucracy of leftist cities creates a concrete barrier to success for most small to medium business owners, and even larger companies and chains are ready to exit because of high taxes and over-regulation.  Finally, soft prosecution laws in blue states and cities have led to a clear spike in criminal activity which Democrats are also trying to deny.

It’s estimated by Zillow’s chief economist that establishing a residency in California would require around $1 million or more in starting money.  The state has the second highest cost of living in the nation, as well as the worst reported job growth in the nation in 2023.  Property prices are exploding higher, but with fewer and fewer buyers.  This is probably why California has been dead last on the list of most desirable states to move to for the past few years running.

No one wants to be left holding the bag in a state or city where it’s becoming impossible to leave.  For people with the money, relocation is a no-brainer.

Another factor which is going mostly ignored by the establishment media is the rising trend of political disassociation.  The left has become so extreme in their views and behavior that the rest of the populace doesn’t want to deal with them anymore.  Conservatives and independents are rushing for the exits to get as far away from these people as possible.

Contrary to popular fears among conservatives, the exodus has not pushed voting numbers towards progressive politicians or policies in the slightest.  In fact, Idaho has reported a considerable influx of conservative voters moving in after escaping blue states.  Similar reports are coming out of Texas and Florida.  There is no blue tide.  There is no California takeover – Red states are only turning more red.

Are progressives moving out of the cities, too?  Yes, to the suburbs and to outlying towns within driving distances of their original homes.  It’s getting to the point where even leftists are admitting their own cities are not livable. The latest U-Haul data helps to explain the developments more clearly.

The exodus is now having visible effects on Democrat havens that can no longer be hidden.  Crime activity is so suffocating that many corporate chains are leaving, only to be threatened by city politicians with legal reprisals if they shut down.  If Democrats can’t trick people into staying, they plan to force people to stay.

Ivy League Psychologist Claims Trump Is “Sundowning” and Showing Signs of Dementia at Night, Joe Biden is “Really Impressive”

admin Apr 14, 2024 3 min read
Academic claims Trump’s cognitive performance is worse than Biden’s

Last week Harry Segal, a clinical psychologist and lecturer at Cornell University, told radio host David Packman that he believes Trump is exhibiting behavior consistent with “sundowning.” The term is used to describe a worsening state of confusion in dementia sufferers that often occurs with the onset of late afternoon and evening. The issue of the president’s nocturnal cognitive performance became a hot issue last night, after Joe Biden failed to make a live address in response to Iran’s missile and drone attack on Israel.

As evidence for his theory, the psychologist cited Trump’s gait and speech patterns, and the fact that he has observed Trump having “more and more difficulties at night.”

Particular examples Segal mentioned included Trump confusing Nancy Pelosi and Nikki Haley, and abandoning his line of thought during a rally in Ohio last month.

Segal noted that Trump has always had a habit of taking tangents while speaking, but claims he used to be “more crisp” in doing so.

“He was more complex than he is now.”

Because of the potential for swift progression of the disease, Segal warned that next year Trump could be president and already displaying serious signs of dementia.

The possibility of a demented commander-in-chief is clearly a frightening one for the guardians of America’s democracy. Thankfully, Segal noted that Biden, despite his age, still displays the top-notch thinking skills necessary for the job.

“If I were concerned about Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities, I would be. I would be saying it with as much alarm as I am about Trump. I was very impressed with his State of the Union speech. He was incredible. He was quick. He badgered the Republicans and caught Marjorie Taylor Greene up short. It was really impressive. You really can’t do that if you’re suffering from major cognitive impairments.”

Sundowning was also a subject of discussion in the wake of yesterday’s Iranian-led attack on Israel, with some Twitter users were suggesting that the attack was deliberately timed for sundown to coincide with Biden’s bedtime.

Biden was due to release a taped address in response to the attack, but then relented.

On Truth Social, late on Saturday evening, Trump proved his brain was still functioning properly with a series of devastating posts on Truth Social about Biden’s failure to address the nation directly.

“Biden, on Israel, didn’t do his ‘Address to the People’ LIVE. He taped it. This is no time for taped speeches!!! DJT”

This was followed by an even more emphatic statement.

“AFTER READING MY TRUTH, BIDEN’S HANDLERS CONVINCED HIM NOT TO RELEASE HIS TAPED SPEECH ON ISRAEL. HE’LL NOW ATTEMPT TO DO IT LIVE, PROBABLY TOMORROW. HE DOESN’T WANT TO LEAVE HIS HOUSE, WITH THE CORVETTE, IN DELAWARE!!!”

Bondi Knife Attacker Named, May Have Deliberately Targeted Women

The killer had a history of mental-health problems

Police have named 40-year-old Joel Cauchi as the man responsible for killing six people in a stabbing spree at a Sydney shopping mall yesterday. They said Cauchi moved to Sydney from Queensland a month ago and had a history of mental-health problems. He was living in a vehicle at the time of the attack.

The killer’s family have now issued a statement via the police, in which they express their shock and devastation, and offer their support for the victims and their loved ones.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the victims and those still undergoing treatment at this time,” they said.

“Joel’s actions were truly horrific, and we are still trying to comprehend what has happened. He has battled with mental health issues since he was a teenager.

“We are in contact with both the New South Wales Police Force and Queensland Police Service and have no issues with the Police Officer who shot our son as she was only doing her job to protect others and we hope she is coping alright.”

This video captures scenes from Bondi Junction, Sydney, showing families fleeing as a man wielding a knife runs through the shopping centre.

Although there was some initial speculation on social media that the attack might be terror-related, as we reported yesterday, police are now considering the possibility that Cauchi deliberately targeted women.

Cauchi killed five women and one man. New South Wales Police Commissioner Karen Webb said that “at least eight” of the 12 people injured in the attack were women.

The women killed were 47-year-old Jade Young, 25-year-old Dawn Singleton, 38-year-old Ashlee Good, and two other women who have not been named. Faraz Tahir, 30, a security guard, was the lone man killed.

Webb told reporters that the gender of the majority of Cauchi’s victims would be “an obvious line of inquiry.”

“And that’s concerning, but that will form part of the investigation.

“I mean, anyone seeing that footage can see that for themselves.”

Webb’s colleague, the assistant commissioner, sounded a more cautious note about the killer’s motivations.

“We are continuing to work through the profiling of the offender but very clearly to us at this stage it will appear related to the mental health of the individual,” the NSW police assistant commissioner, Anthony Cooke, said.

“There is still to this point nothing—no information we have received, no evidence we’ve recovered, no intelligence that we have gathered—that would suggest that this was driven by any particular motivation, ideology or otherwise.”

IRAN: “The Matter Can Be Deemed Concluded”

Iran’s regime claimed the massive missile and drone attack against Israeli is over

In a public statement late on Saturday night, Iran’s Permanent Mission to the UN declared on Twitter that its massive drone and missile attack on Israel, which it conducted with proxies in Iraq and Yemen, is now over. The Iranian regime stated that the attack was in response to the April 1 Israeli strike against an Iranian target in Damascus, Syria, which killed 12 people included two senior generals in the Revolutionary Guards Quds force.

“Conducted on the strength of Article 51 of the UN Charter pertaining to legitimate defense, Iran’s military action was in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against our diplomatic premises in Damascus. The matter can be deemed concluded,” the Tweet stated.

The statement then promised that another “response” would follow if Israel directed any further attacks against the regime, and that it would be more serious.

The Iranians also warned the US to stay out of any hostilities between Teheran and Jerusalem, using block capitals as a clear signal of its deadly intent.

“However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe. It is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime, from which the U.S. MUST STAY AWAY.”

Hundreds of missiles and drones were fired from Iran, Iraq and Yemen, but most appear to have been intercepted and destroyed. Little damage is reported, but a young girl was taken to hospital with minor shrapnel injuries from an intercepted missile.

Israel’s allies in the region, including Jordan, helped shoot down drones. The British Royal Air Force also scrambled nearby jets to intercept targets within their range.

As the attack progressed, President Biden drew an early close to a weekend visit to his Delaware beach house to reconvene at the White House with his national-security staff. He spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reassure him of American support.

On social media, President Biden said that his “commitment to Israel’s security against threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad.

An Israeli response is awaited, with the potential for significant escalation in the wider region and even beyond.

Both Russia and China have warned against escalation.

Russian Deputy Ambassador to the UN Dmitry Polyanskiy said on the Telegram that the Un Security Council had received letters from both Israel and Iran, and that the letter from Iran asserted the legitimacy of the attacks as a form of self-defence.

“The latter warns that if Israel responds, Iran will respond in a more powerful and decisive manner,” Polyanskiy added.

The Chinese foreign ministry urged “calm and restraint” on all sides. It described the Iranian attack as the “latest spillover of the Gaza conflict,” and declared that the Gaza war “must end now.”
