Multiple telephone service providers in America suffered outages at the same time, affecting some trying to call 911

According to The Mirror, “AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and other network providers have all been impacted in a network outage that has impacted people from California to South Carolina. Providers did not immediately share a reason behind the network outages, leading many to worry that it could have been part of a larger cyberattack on the US.”

Virtually no information initially released about Nicaraguan illegal suspected of smashing dozen vehicles in state-owned tow truck in Maryland sanctuary county

A man arrested for stealing a state-owned tow truck last week and using it to ram more than a dozen vehicles during a rampage in Maryland has been identified as an illegal alien from Central America, according to authorities.

On Friday, Maryland State Police officers were called to a hit-and-run crash involving four vehicles on Interstate 495 in College Park, as InfoWars previously reported.

The driver of a Ford Ranger involved in the wreck allegedly fled the scene and pulled into a Park and Ride lot, subsequently leaving the pavement and striking a guard rail.

A Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) worker arrived in a tow truck to check on the driver of the Ranger, however, the suspect jumped into the SHA truck and sped away.

During a harrowing pursuit that lasted nearly two hours, the suspect struck at least 13 vehicles, injuring multiple police officers and civilians, before the truck became disabled and the suspect was arrested in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Virtually no information was released about the suspect until this week, when local media discovered he is a Nicaraguan citizen illegally present in the U.S.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that a detainer has been filed with the Montgomery County Correctional Facility against Cesar Flavio Lanuza, who remained hospitalized as of Tuesday.

“We were not aware. We had not been looking for him,” ICE Baltimore Field Officer Director Darius Reeves told Fox 5.

“He was encountered by the local community, and once we became aware of it, we immediately issued a detainer after we did our comprehensive review.”

As a self-declared ‘sanctuary’ for illegal aliens, Montgomery County is notorious for rejecting cooperation with federal immigration authorities, making the county a hotbed for foreign criminals.

It is unclear if the ICE detainer placed on Lanuza will be honored.

“These detainers are codified in Title 8 of the Code of Federal Regulations as well as the INS, so these gentlemen are of interest to ICE and once the state is done with their business with him, we would like him to be brought into our custody,” Reeves said.

US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said the “substantial package” of sanctions would cover “different elements of the Russian defense-industrial base and sources of revenue for the Russian economy” that power Moscow’s “war machine.”

Aluminum and nickel futures rose on Wednesday after President Biden’s announcement that the US is planning to introduce a fresh round of sanctions against Russia in response to the sudden death of opposition leader Alexey Navalny in a Russian jail. 

On Tuesday, Biden told reporters at the White House about plans for a “major” sanctions package against Moscow set to be unveiled on Friday but didn’t comment on targeted industries or other specifics. 

According to Bloomberg, commodity traders have been waiting for a new round of trade restrictions on Russian metals since the UK moved in December to block British individuals and entities from trading physical metals from Russia, including aluminum, copper, and nickel. The UK has hinted at a coordinated action with Western partners against Russian metals. 

Aluminum prices on the London Metal Exchange jumped more than 2% on Wednesday after surging in response to Biden’s comments on Tuesday. Nickle futures were also up nearly 2%. 

Li Jiahui, an analyst at Shanghai Metals Market, told Bloomberg: “Prices are rising on the Biden news as investors are assessing the potential measures and impact,” adding, “Investors are awaiting for the specific measures to land.”

Earlier on Tuesday, White House spokesman John Kirby said that sanctions would be designed “to hold Russia accountable for what happened to Mr. Navalny.”

Also, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said the “substantial package” of sanctions would cover “different elements of the Russian defense-industrial base and sources of revenue for the Russian economy” that power Moscow’s “war machine.” 

Meanwhile, the ineffectiveness of the West’s sanctions against the Russian economy is an awakening sign that neocon Washington elites believe they can do more of the same and expect different results. This is called insanity.
