Former Google Employee Says He Was Told He Couldn’t Be Promoted ‘For Being a White Man’

This comes after Google has already shown the entire world they’re anti-white with disastrous rollout of Gemini AI image creator.

Former Google employee Shaun Maguire revealed Thursday night on Twitter that he was told by Google that he could not be promoted because he’s “a white man.”

Fuck it,

This happened at Google

That company is an absolute trash can dumpster fire https://t.co/JP2bpa99mT

— Shaun Maguire (@shaunmmaguire) February 23, 2024

He first teased the story in Dec 2023 but went public in the wake of Google facing tremendous public backlash for programming their AI “Gemini” to erase white people.

Should I go public with the story about the time I was told I can’t be promoted for being a white man?

— Shaun Maguire (@shaunmmaguire) December 16, 2023

“I’m really not supposed to tell you this. It could get me fired.

But you’re one of the highest performing people here but I can’t promote you right now because I have a quota. My hands are tied. You’ll get the next slot. Please be patient. I’m really sorry.”

Gemini is the tip of the iceberg

They need to fix the bias in their culture which trickles down into all of their products

— Shaun Maguire (@shaunmmaguire) February 23, 2024

Maguire also signaled he’s looking to sue Google for anti-white discrimination:

Hit me up

Elon Musk said Thursday that he’s “glad that Google overplayed their hand with their AI image generation, as it made their insane racist, anti-civilizational programming clear to all.”

Pentagon Probing Over 50 Cases of ‘Theft, Fraud or Corruption’ Linked to Ukraine Aid

Earlier in February, US House lawmakers demanded that Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin provide them with documents related to US military aid to Ukraine.

US officials failed to properly track over $1 billion worth of American weapons sent to Ukraine, a report by the Pentagon’s inspector general revealed in January. This echoed last year’s admission by the Department of Defense’s Office of the Inspector General that it was facing “challenges” monitoring US military equipment being funneled to Kiev.

Criminal investigators in the US have opened over 50 cases related to Ukraine aid amid a growing chorus of concerns over insufficient oversight and potential for misuse.

Investigations are looking into possible “procurement fraud, product substitution, theft, fraud or corruption, and diversion,” according to Pentagon Inspector General Robert Storch.

Most of these cases – some involving contractors – are still underway, but already “stresses and gaps” have been laid bare by the auditors, the inspector general told a briefing during the week, adding:

“We have not substantiated any such allegations, though that may well change in the future.”

According to the official, “given the quantity and speed” of equipment being sent to Ukraine, one may anticipate more investigations into abuse or diversions.

“This spending does not help Ukraine,” Elon Musk said, arguing against providing additional financial aid to Ukraine.

While few details were offered, the briefing referenced audits having discovered incomplete shipment manifests bound for Ukraine via Poland. “As a result, DoD personnel did not have required visibility and accountability of all types of equipment during the transfer process,” the audit assessment was cited as underscoring.

Another cited audit still underway purportedly deals with delivery of 155 mm artillery shells to Ukraine. Specifically, the probe is tasked with determining whether the US was able to meet its shipment goal without undermining its own defense needs.

Earlier in February, US House lawmakers demanded that Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin provide them with documents related to US military aid to Ukraine.

“Following an Inspector General report revealing the Department of Defense (DoD) has failed to track military weapons and articles going to Ukraine, the lawmakers are calling on DoD Secretary Lloyd Austin to provide documents and information to understand how the Department intends to mitigate the vulnerabilities of military assistance to Ukraine,” the letter said. It referred to a 2023 report concluding that the Pentagon faced “challenges” in monitoring all of the American military equipment pouring into Ukraine.

Furthermore, funds allocated by the US to support Ukraine were finding their way to the world’s money-laundering capitals, a member of the US House of Representatives, Matt Gaetz, recently stated. Gaetz, one of a growing chorus of vocal opponents of aid to Ukraine in Congress, told the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that the US should no longer provide foreign aid without cutting its own “bloated” federal budget.

News of the probes comes as the Biden administration’s supplemental funding request worth over $100 billion, which includes more than $60 billion for Ukraine, remains in limbo. House Republican lawmakers have refused to approve it without measures to strengthen border security and restrict immigration.

After Russia launched its special military operation in Ukraine, the US and its allies ramped up their military assistance to Kiev. Moscow has repeatedly warned that NATO countries are “playing with fire” by supplying arms that the Kremlin said prolongs the conflict in Ukraine. Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, for his part, underscored that any cargo with weapons for the Zelensky regime would become a legitimate target for Russian forces.

Furthermore, Moscow has repeatedly warned that some of the weapons the West has sent to the corrupt Kiev regime would end up on the black market. It is estimated that 10-15% of weapons delivered to Ukraine are illegally re-exported to the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Africa, the director of the Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade (CAWAT), Igor Korotchenko, told Sputnik in 2023.

Polish Farmers To Block Critical Border Road As Tusk Government Faces First Serious Challenge

Farmers say EU’s so-called Green Deal on energy, transportation and taxation in a bid to reduce greenhouse emissions “is unacceptable in its current form.”

Polish Farmers are planning to block a key frontier road into Germany as part of a growing protest over Europe’s green agenda and cheaper imports – primarily from Ukraine.

Polish farmers explain why they dump Ukrainian grain and stage border blockade 21-2-24 Many polish farmers will go bankrupt, big farmers will be taken over by western agriculture companies from Germany, France, Holland etc. as happened already in Ukraine- EU and NATO businesss !! pic.twitter.com/RWt19SwEqV

Protesters will block the main A2 highway from Warsaw to Berlin on Sunday for 24 hours, TRTWorld reports.

According to Dariusz Wrobel, a spokesman for the farmers’ protest movement, the EU’s so-called Green Deal on energy, transportation and taxation in a bid to reduce greenhouse emissions “is unacceptable in its current form.”

The farmers also oppose imports of agriculture products from countries outside the EU “that do not conform to European norms”, Wrobel said.

The highway protest at the German border would start at 1200 GMT on Sunday and would be just a warning.

We expect results and we are ready to launch a much wider movement,” Wrobel said.

Meanwhile, as Remix Newssums it up – this is a major test for the Tusk government.

There is an old fable about succession. An old ruler leaves two envelopes for his successor and tells him to open the first one when a crisis arrives. The new ruler does just that and sees the advice, “Just blame everything on me,” with a footnote: “When the next crisis arrives, open the next envelope.” He follows the advice that gets him through the first crisis, but a second one eventually comes along, so he opens the second letter which reads, “Sit down right now, write two letters, and put them in envelopes.”

The Tusk administration has already opened up the first envelope in its response to the farmers’ protests by saying that their cause is just and that it was all the fault of the previous PiS government.

There is an element of truth in that claim. It was the PiS government that opened up the border in a gesture of solidarity that was in Poland’s self-interest, but it failed to stop the opening of the EU market to Ukrainian food and only introduced an embargo on Ukrainian grain when the horse had bolted and was roaming the fields.

It was also the PiS government that in 2019 had agreed to the EU’s “Fit for 55” climate policy, which contained the very measures farmers are currently protesting against. If it believed that it was trading EU funds in return for the policy, the EU establishment didn’t honor its side of the bargain.

But just blaming PiS will not be enough for the Tusk government. Farmers don’t want PR stunts involving ministers saying they support the protests, they want concrete measures to deal with the situation.

The problem is that the Tusk government cannot deliver these because the demands farmers are making are unacceptable to Brussels as they run counter to the climate dogma, the dogma that PiS does not agree with but failed to counter. Unfortunately for the farmers, the new government was supported by Brussels and is therefore hitched to it.

Tusk’s government also cannot introduce a blanket embargo on Ukrainian food products because that is an EU decision and also because of its political commitment to supporting Ukraine.

Elon Musk Says Gmail Alternative Called XMail ‘Coming’

“It’s coming,” Musk says

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk revealed on his social media platform X that he will soon launch a new product called “XMail” as an alternative to the widely used Gmail service.

“It’s coming,” Musk said late Thursday when asked whether he planned to launch an XMail service.

Musk did not reveal any details about when the service might be launched.

His comments came in response to a post from a senior member of X’s Security Engineering program, Nate McGrady, who had asked, “When we making Xmail?”

Musk took over X, formerly known as Twitter, in 2022 and has introduced a wide array of changes to the social media platform.

Gmail currently has more than 1.8 billion active users worldwide, accounting for about 30% of the global market share for email clients, according to Forbes.

Biden’s Approval Rating Drops to 38%, Approaching Record Low – Poll

Approval rating sinks significantly below the typical reelection benchmark

US President Joe Biden’s approval rating has declined to 38%, one point away from his all-time low and significantly below the typical reelection benchmark, according to a Gallup poll released on Friday.

The poll tracked Biden’s job approval ratings among US adults across six key issues including his overall job performance, the situation in Ukraine, the US economy, the Middle East conflict, immigration issues, and foreign affairs.

The poll revealed that public satisfaction with immigration issues fell to a “new low” of 28%, 3 points down from November. Biden’s approval rating for handling the conflict between Israel and Hamas is down by 2 points to 30%.

The approval ratings for Biden’s handling of the US economy and the Ukraine conflict have improved to 36% and 40%, respectively.

Biden’s approval rating has remained below 44% since August 2021, and his average third-year rating of 39.8% ranks as the second lowest among post-World War II presidents during their first term, the pollster said.

The poll was conducted from February 1-20.
