Over a dozen New York City homeowners shared their horror stories about squatters who’ve invaded their homes and how they’re powerless to stop them thanks to Democrat policies.
NYC Councilwoman Vickie Paladino gathered the homeowners Friday to share the extent of the squatter crisis to CBS New York.
“I was able to pull this group of constituents together for a live interview with less than 12 hours notice. That’s how bad it’s gotten,” she wrote on X. “With more notice I could have brought in least a dozen more cases from my office alone. This problem is rampant, it’s getting worse, and it’s destroying people’s faith in the city.”

One homeowner described how his case is projected to drag on for years.
“Why can’t you just change the locks?” CBS’ Marcia Kramer asked.
The homeowner replied, “I would be arrested instantly.”
Councilwoman Paladino concluded:
“Homeowners MUST be empowered to rapidly remove squatters from their property when they are first discovered.
“And squatters MUST be taken out of civil court and brought into criminal court, to be charged with criminal trespass, forgery, and ID theft if appropriate. There must be serious consequences to these scams.
“The people have had enough. Laws must change. And if Democrats aren’t interested in fixing these problems, homeowners are going to be left with no other option but to take matters into their own hands to protect their rights. We’re playing with fire here.”
London: Islamic Symbol Projected on Major Landmarks
A video shared by an NGO called Islamic Relief UK shows Islamic symbols being projected on the London Eye Mark, above the city’s iconic red double-decker buses and the VIP grounds outside the United Kingdom’s Parliament in an effort to promote Islam.
Though the projections are only special effects for the video, the digitally altered video itself was widely shared by the group to promote Islam in the country.

Illegal Alien Facing Deportation Arrested for Stabbing Haitian Roommates to Death in New York
A Haitian man awaiting a deportation hearing was arrested for stabbing two of his fellow countrymen to death during a rampage at an apartment complex in New York this week, according to reports.
The horrifying incident unfolded in Middletown on Monday, but details about the suspect’s immigration status came to light later in the week.
Middletown police officers arrived at Eastview Condominiums and found two victims suffering from stab wounds, one of whom was already deceased while the other died a short time later at a local hospital.
They were both reportedly Haitian citizens whose immigration statuses are unclear, and very little additional information about them has been released.
“It was one of the most brutal murders that some law enforcement is reporting to us that they’ve seen,” Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus told News 12.
“We don’t have any history, no background on these individuals. Who is monitoring them? That’s the problem.”
Officers located 30-year-old Kenol Baptiste in a nearby wooded area and took him into custody.
He was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Authorities believe Baptiste was an acquaintance and roommate of the victims, but it is unclear what led to the massacre.
“Middletown murder suspect, Kenol Baptiste, accused of fatally stabbing his roommates Monday has been determined to be a Haitian national who was in the U.S. for eight months; had a pending deportation hearing,” News 12 reporter Blaise Gomez revealed on Wednesday, citing Executive Neuhaus.
