Watch Live: Trump Holds First MAGA Rally Since Democrat Coup on Biden
Donald Trump speaks at a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, 11 days after a gunman took a shot at the former president during an event in Pennsylvania.
Wednesday’s rally follows one other campaign event on Saturday in Grand Rapids, Michigan, attended by Trump just days after a would-be assassin’s bullet grazed his skull and struck his ear.
Following the resignation of Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle this week, the agency reportedly recommended Trump’s campaign hold indoor rallies.
It’s unclear if the Trump campaign plans to adhere to the recommendation.
Wednesday’s rally is also Trump’s first campaign event following former opponent Joe Biden being forced by Democrats to drop out of the 2024 race and back his vice president.
