Ukraine’s Survival in Danger – Pentagon Chief
Ukraine’s very survival could be at stake unless the West sends more military aid, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said on Tuesday.
The head of the Pentagon was in Germany for a meeting of the so-called Ukraine Defense Contact Group at Ramstein Air Base, in his first overseas trip since his hospitalization in January.
“Today, Ukraine’s survival is in danger and America’s security is at risk,” Austin said at a press conference after the meeting.
Keeping the weapons, equipment and ammunition flowing is “a matter of survival and sovereignty for Ukraine” and “a matter of honor and security for America,” he added.
He did not say how the US intends to support Ukraine without additional funding. The bill that would provide over $60 billion in assistance to Kiev is still stuck in the US House of Representatives.

US “inaction” has already resulted in Ukraine losing ground on the battlefield, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said at Tuesday’s press briefing. President Joe Biden, a Democrat, has been trying to pressure the Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson to approve the Ukraine funding for months, so far without success.
After the Ramstein meeting, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced a package of weapons and ammunition for Kiev worth €500 million ($543 million).
Washington had used up almost all the congressionally approved funding for Kiev. The Pentagon has asked Congress for at least $6.5 billion to replenish its own depleted stockpiles. On Friday, the White House announced it had managed to put together a package of ammunition worth $300 million from various “savings”at the Pentagon, but warned that this would only support Ukraine for a couple of weeks. It was the first batch of US funding since the start of 2024.
Meanwhile, the US has urged Ukraine to expand its mobilization to younger men in order to fill up the badly depleted ranks of frontline brigades.
Ukrainian forces lost the key Donbass fortress of Avdeevka last month, pulling back in disorder before the advancing Russian forces, and have been taking heavy casualties in open battle ever since. The battle has prompted French military analysts to conclude that Kiev can’t possibly win on the battlefield, according to classified reports leaked to the outlet Marianne earlier this month.

Dominican Republic Builds 12-Foot Tall BORDER WALL to Protect from Haitian Gangs, Crime
The Dominican Republic has constructed a 12-foot high wall to safeguard its citizens from illegal entry and violence spilling over from neighboring Haiti, which has collapsed after becoming overwhelmed by escaped inmates.
Fox News reports the Caribbean nation isn’t taking chances on spillover violence, erecting a “Smart Security Fence” complete with cameras, night vision and a watch tower.
“Construction of this new border wall began last year,” Fox News reports.

According to Fox News, “The president of the Dominican Republic says so far about 100 miles of border wall have been completed.”
“The goal is to eventually have a border wall run along the entire border with Haiti. He says it’ll change the Dominican Republic forever.”
D.R. President Luis Abinader lauded the wall’s construction, saying, “The physical wall is already doing its job.”
“From a security standpoint, it is helping us a lot,” Abinader added.
The border wall’s construction couldn’t have come at a better time, as the nation is first in line to be pounded by a mass exodus of illegal aliens from its neighboring country, while Haitians attempt to flee the turmoil-ridden country where ruthless, savage cannibalistic gangs have taken hold.
The D.R. has no reservations over whether the wall works or whether it would be inhumane; they only know it’s necessary to deter invaders and protect its citizens, much in the same manner Donald Trump intended his wall to work.

Texas Jurisdiction REFUSES to Enforce SCOTUS Ruling Allowing Cops to Arrest Illegals
Police in Fort Worth have announced they will not be enforcing a state Senate bill allowing Texas law enforcement agencies to arrest illegal immigrants.
In an announcement Monday, Fort Worth Police Department Chief Neil Noakes declared immigration enforcement should be left up to state and federal authorities, adding illegal aliens are representative of the city’s “vibrant growth…and the diversity of our communities.”

“Although we will always follow the law the primary responsibility for immigration enforcement and Border Protection should be left to our federal and state partners,” he added.
“In light of the vibrant growth of our city and the diversity of our communities, our department remains unwavering in its commitment to community policing and making Fort Worth the safest city in the country for all who call this community home.”
The Fort Worth Police Department’s declaration came ahead of the SCOTUS decision Tuesday, in which an emergency request by the Biden administration claiming the feds have sole authority to police immigration was blocked, allowing SB4 to go into effect.
The department was roundly condemned on social media for refusing to protect its citizens.
“The Fort Worth Police have abandoned the citizens of their city in favor of illegal immigrants,” one social media user wrote, sarcastically adding, “Great job everybody.”
