(LifeSiteNews) — The LGBT agenda is about the score yet another victory under pro-abortion Michigan Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

During the last week of June, state lawmakers in Michigan voted in favor of legislation that bans “gay panic” defenses in court.

MLive.com reported that “under the proposed Michigan law, a person would not be justified in using force against another based on the discovery or knowledge of the victim’s sex, gender identity, gender expression or sexual orientation.”

Back in 2013, the American Bar Association recommended banning the defense, which it said seeks to “partially or completely excuse crimes such as murder and assault on the grounds that the victim’s sexual orientation or gender identity is to blame for the defendant’s violent reaction.”

While lauded by LGBT activists as a tool to prevent the deaths of persons due to their sexual orientation, in practice the measure seems designed to prohibit a person from engaging in self-defense from a hostile homosexual or a gender-confused person.

Pro-LGBT website Advocate has highlighted one such instance of the “gay panic” defense. In 2014, two black men were arrested for using physical force against two gender-confused men who came onto them while they were using the city’s public transit system. One of them told local media that he doesn’t “hate gay people at all” but that he had to defend himself when they wouldn’t stop harassing him.

Another instance would be if a man who goes on a date with someone he believed to be a woman but later finds out he is biologically a male, the man might react with force to remove them from their presence or dwelling space. The law could presumably be used to find them guilty of a crime.

Thus far, 19 states have outlawed the defense, according to MLive.com.

Testimony for the bill was first heard last fall, but lawmakers did not vote on it until last month. The measure passed along party lines with Democrats holding narrow majorities in both chambers of Michigan’s legislature.

Bisexual Democratic state Rep. Laurie Pothusky of Livonia sponsored the bill, claiming that “this defense (makes) crimes against the community carry less weight, because we are inherently less human, and therefore less valuable.”

States that have enacted “gay panic” legislation include New Jersey, California, New York, Maine, Hawaii, Nevada, Illinois, and Connecticut, among others.

New German data shows that a record number of welfare recipients are foreigners.

Germany is experiencing exploding welfare costs under the ruling far-left government, with recipients receiving a record €42.6 billion in “citizens’ money” in 2023 compared to €36.6 billion in 2022. 

There are now a record 5.49 million citizen’s benefits (or allowance) — which is what Germany calls its welfare system — and approximately 47.3 percent were non-German foreigners, which is four points more than in 2022.

In addition, there was another record €6.3 billion worth of administration costs for the citizen’s benefit program, which is €300 million more than 2022, according to government data obtained by AfD MP Rene Springer after a parliamentary request. If this administrative money is added, then total welfare costs equaled €48.9 billion. Bild notes this figure is 14.8 percent higher than in 2023, 18.4 percent higher compared to 2020, and 23 percent higher compared to 2015.

Now, the largest business association in Germany, the DHK, is accusing the left-liberal government of deliberately creating problems that are eroding Germany’s fiscal strength and worsening the unemployment situation.

The AfD released a statement about the soaring costs of the citizen’s allowance, writing: “Which country in the world allows itself to be exploited in this manner?” The statement continues, noting that “the percentage of people receiving benefits has more than doubled compared to 2010 (19.6 percent). And we are only talking about people who do not have German citizenship. German citizens with a migration background are not included in the 47.3 percent.”

The AfD is noting that many German recipients may have recently been foreigners but since obtaining German citizenship, they are simply listed as Germans in the statistics. The German government does not track the migration background of individuals once they receive German citizenship, which is also the same case for German crime statistics, which nonetheless show that 41 percent of all crimes and 6 out of 10 violent crimes are committed by foreigners.

The data pokes a major hole in the claims that newcomers will help pay for German pensions and help fill demand from German industry, which is desperately searching for skilled workers. In fact, the data shows that the German state spent €48.2 billion on migrants, including social housing, medical costs, education, integration courses, and other expenses.

The Christian Democrats (CDU), which were largely responsible for many of the migrants arriving in Germany under Angela Merkel, also condemned the rising costs. Economic expert Jens Spahn told Bild: “The citizen’s allowance is constantly setting negative records for hindering jobs and spiking costs. A large majority of Germans find it completely unfair.”

He said that many people can earn more simply being unemployed, which weakens the economy.

“The citizen’s allowance should be abolished,” he said.

The Federal Employment Agency indicated that 2.6 million citizen’s allowance recipients were foreigners, a jump of 368,000 or 16.5 percent from 2023.

Child rapist sentenced to five years for crimes other than sex assault on minor

An illegal alien authorities are calling a “child rapist” has been sentenced to five years in prison for crimes other than sexual assault, authorities say.

Jhoan Esau Lemus Ramos, a Honduran citizen who is illegally present in the country, was sentenced at U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on June 27, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced on Monday.

While the Department of Justice (DOJ) asserts Lemus Ramos illegally entered the U.S. in 2021 at an unspecified location, ICE previously stated he was arrested in 2020 by Border Patrol near Clint, Texas, and determined to be an “unaccompanied minor.”

Conflicting reports indicate Lemus Ramos may be either 21 or 23 years old.

In February of 2022, he made contact with a 13-year-old girl via Snapchat, according to court documents.

“In March 2022, Lemus Ramos met the victim in a parking lot in Herndon. When the victim attempted to resist Lemus Ramos’ sexual advances, he forcibly raped her,” the DOJ explained in a press release.

“For the next several months through at least August 2022, Lemus Ramos repeatedly asked the victim for nude or semi-nude photographs. She eventually complied and sent the photos via cellphone. When she wanted to stop interacting with him, he used the photos to threaten her and force her to have sex with him.”

On July 18, 2023, Lemus Ramos was brought to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on charges of carnal knowledge, possession of child pornography, and manufacturing child pornography.

“Upon being served with the criminal charges, the magistrate immediately gave this individual a $1,000 bond on each of his three charges. The individual then paid that bond and was released at 11:45 p.m. on the same day, July 18, 2023,” the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office explained in a statement in January.

ICE has issued contradictory press releases stating that Enforcement and Removal Operations agents arrived at Lemus Ramos’ residence in Springfield, VA — on either December 4, 2023, or January 4, 2024.

While being taken into custody, Lemus Ramos struck one officer in the face, causing an injury that required stitches.

“Jhoan Esau Lemus Ramos, 23, a Honduran national who raped a 13-year-old victim, was sentenced today to five years in prison for receiving child sexual abuse material and assaulting a federal officer.,” the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia recently announced.

Oddly, no official statement from any government agency mentions a rape conviction.

Vessel full of illegals slams into dock at Mission Bay hotel hours before another boat intercepted by U.S. Coast Guard

A boat carrying illegal aliens was intercepted in San Diego waters just hours after another vessel full of illegals landed at hotel in the same area, according to reports.

On Sunday morning, a pleasure craft carrying around 10 people reportedly slammed into a fuel dock at the Hyatt Hotel in Mission Bay.

Eight suspects were arrested and taken to a Customs and Border Protection facility for processing, Fox 5 reports.

A short time later, another smuggling boat was interdicted at the entrance to Mission Bay by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG).

“This one never made it to a dock unlike the one reported earlier that crashed into the Hyatt fuel dock,” local journalist Amy Reichart reported on Tuesday, citing an inside source.

“The U.S. Coast Guard transferred 7 people from Mexico to the Border Patrol.”

As Reichert pointed out, many illegals who choose to enter the U.S. by such covert means often do so because their criminal records or deportation histories could likely lead to their removal.

The USCG Southern California says 21 suspected smuggling operations involving 106 people were detected between July 1 and 7.

“Alarmingly, 6 tried to swim to the USA,” USCG SoCal stated on social media.

On July 1, three smuggling boats reportedly landed on San Diego beaches but no suspects were located at the time.

The report claims the Nazi rallies organized by the FBI are what eventually paved the way for a bigger operation known as Primitive Affliction that targeted right-wing groups, complete with bomb makers, rogue undercover agents and a motorcycle front group.

The Orlando neo-Nazi rally that grabbed headlines in 2006 was organized by the FBI, a new report shows, and it was part of a broader program that organized similar rallies throughout the nation – even though the bureau knew that they would cause more people to join the movement.

The report claims the Nazi rallies organized by the FBI are what eventually paved the way for a bigger operation known as Primitive Affliction that targeted right-wing groups, complete with bomb makers, rogue undercover agents and a motorcycle front group.

Higher-ups at the bureau were well aware of the operation, including former director Robert Mueller, documents studied by journalist Ken Silva of Headline USA show.

They explain how when the FBI source in charge of organizing the 2006 neo-Nazi rally in Orlando, David Gletty, had his cover blown, his handler denied that he organized the rally on several occasions, admitting only that he marched in it while insisting he didn’t lead it. However, Gletty himself said that he did organize it at the behest of the FBI, both in order to raise Gletty’s profile within neo-Nazi circles and to facilitate surveillance by the FBI of rally attendees.

According to Gletty, this was part of the FBI’s modus operandi at the time, staging similar rallies throughout the U.S. to raise the profile of individual informants and develop a database of Nazis they could track.

Other members of the National Socialist Movement (NSM) have corroborated claims that the FBI staged neo-Nazi rallies in the mid-2000s. One of them is Bill White, who claims that the FBI sponsored a violent 2005 rally held in Toledo.

In a sworn declaration, he stated: “In October 2005, FBI [confidential human source] Jeff Schoep asked me to go to Toledo, Ohio, to help organize a ‘March Against Black Crime’ by what were supposed to be ‘local residents,’ but were really federal CHSs.”

His statement was referring to Jeff Schoep, who was the leader of NSM from the 1990s until not long after the Charlottesville rally in 2017. Although there is no evidence definitively showing that Schoep served as a full-fledged FBI informant while heading the movement, FBI records show that he did speak to agents on at least one occasion, and he has been accused by many other neo-Nazis of working with the FBI. Adding fuel to the fire is the fact he now openly works as a “reformed Nazi” alongside groups sponsored by the FBI and other law enforcement agencies.

FBI let neo-Nazis and left-wing counter-protesters clash

White also said that the rally in Toledo followed a similar formula to the one in Charlottesville, with local police and the FBI letting neo-Nazis and left-wing counter-protesters clash instead of making efforts to keep them apart.

He explained: “On the day of the march, the Toledo Police and the FBI occupied [a nearby parking lot] and ordered myself and the NSM to use [another] parking lot. I and a small team from the NSM arrived before the Communists to secure the location; no police were present at this time ….”

“About an hour later, police began to deploy and directed NSM members to enter [their parking lot] by driving through the mob. This started problems … After the police line formed, the mob then attacked the police, not us,” he added.

A report by the FBI about the Toledo rally tells almost an identical story, although it conveniently leaves out the fact that law enforcement didn’t keep the opposing groups apart.

“Local residents and counter-demonstrators continued with the clash with the police, looting a store and setting fire to a local bar. This rally and riot, and the attendant media coverage for the NSM, was deemed a great success by the majority of the white supremacy movement,” the report said.

However, one of the most damning parts of the report was in the conclusion: “NSM reported increased fundraising and increased applications for membership immediately following these events.”

In other words, whether the FBI was fully responsible for staging the Toledo rally or not, it was well aware that such events led to jumps in the number of neo-Nazis in the U.S. when it enlisted Gletty to organize the one in Orlando a year later.

According to White, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force was responsible for arranging violent counter-demonstrations against neo-Nazi rallies via other informants. He said that “the federal government was using the rallies to make it appear as if there was a ‘domestic terror threat’ when no such threat existed.”
