Increased tensions are escalating violence between the El-Zein and Mocro Mafia organized crime groups in Germany and the Netherlands.

Police officers from the German Special Task Force (SEK) freed a kidnapped couple from a villa in Cologne on Friday, who were believed to be linked to an ongoing drug gang feud.

A video obtained by the Bild newspaper showed the victims being severely abused and tortured. National media has reported the couple were members of the El-Zein clan, a prominent Lebanese mafia organization primarily based in Germany.

The SEK was able to arrest four armed suspected kidnappers.

The judiciary suspects a conflict between various organized crime groups. It is alleged that drugs went missing during a cocaine and cannabis deal between the El-Zein clan from North Rhine-Westphalia and the Dutch “Mocro Mafia”. According to Bild, the illegal goods are said to have a total value of around €9 million. The “Mocro Mafia” is a criminal gang of Moroccans based in the Netherlands, which is expanding its territory into Germany and causing tensions.

Recently, investigators in North Rhine-Westphalia have become increasingly aware of conflicts between criminal gangs. A week and a half ago, there were three bomb attacks on houses in Cologne-Mülheim and Buchheim over two nights. Windows and entrance areas were damaged, but no one was injured.

The following day, an explosive device made with black powder detonated outside a front door in Engelskirchen, followed two days later by one in Duisburg. Due to the similarity of the cases, investigators quickly suspected a connection.

In the meantime, suspicions have been confirmed that the attack in Solingen at the end of June was also linked to the drug war. There, a man from Eritrea had detonated an explosive device in front of the same house in which the now-freed El-Zein members were living. Several people were injured in the attack. The perpetrator died in the failed detonation.

According to police estimates, the so-called “Mocro Mafia” controls around a third of the entire European cocaine trade from the Netherlands. The contract killing of the well-known Dutch crime reporter Peter de Vries is also attributed to the gang.

A whistleblower alleges that the FBI’s Security Division suspends or revokes the security clearances of agents on the basis of their political affiliations or lack of COVID-19 vaccination.

(LifeSiteNews) – The Security Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is abusing security clearance approval to oust agents believed to be politically conservative, according to a whistleblower complaint reviewed by the New York Post.

The Post reported that the unidentified whistleblower alleges that the nation’s top law enforcement agency suspends or revokes clearances of agents on the basis of their political affiliations or lack of COVID-19 vaccination, because “if an FBI employee fit a certain profile as a political conservative, they were viewed as security concerns and unworthy to work at the FBI.” 

The allegations directly contradict sworn testimony denying the practice to Congress last year by Jennifer Leigh Moore, the Security Division’s assistant director.

A nonprofit called Empower Oversight is representing the whistleblower and submitted his claims to the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) on June 28. Empower president Tristan Leavitt also told Congress in a letter that the FBI is also retaliating against the agent for what he is trying to expose. 

“The outcomes of clearance investigations and adjudications were often pre-determined by the Division’s acting Deputy Assistant Director and the acting Section Chief responsible for security clearance investigations and adjudications, who often overruled line staff and even dictated the wording of documents in the clearance process,” Leavitt wrote. “Over the last few years, the FBI has used the clearance process as a means to force employees out of the FBI by inflicting severe financial distress: suspending their clearance, suspending them from duty without pay, requiring them to obtain permission to take any other job while stuck in this unpaid limbo, and delaying their final clearance adjudication indefinitely — even years.”

One victim of such practices was former FBI staff operations specialist Marcus Allen, who last year was revealed to have lost his security clearance for circulating news articles and opinion videos related to the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot for “situational awareness,” according to an interim report by the House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. “Because these open-source articles questioned the FBI’s handling of the violence at the Capitol, the FBI suspended Allen for ‘conspiratorial views in regard to the events of January 6th.’”

The FBI responded to the latest news by claiming it “takes seriously its responsibility to FBI employees who make protected disclosures under whistleblower regulations,” and that the “security clearance adjudication process requires multiple levels of review to ensure decisions are in compliance with applicable policies and procedures. Those policies and procedures do not allow security clearance actions to be taken for improper reasons such as an individual exercising First Amendment protected rights, to include an individual’s political or medical views, or ethnicity or any other protected class.”

Nevertheless, the story adds further detail to an ongoing picture of a federal law enforcement apparatus that critics say has been weaponized against the political opponents of the current administration and like-minded entrenched federal bureaucrats.

The use of agencies such as the FBI to retaliate against political opponents while treating more ideologically aligned lawbreakers more softly has been one of the most alarming facets of Joe Biden’s presidency, from prosecuting pro-life activists while neglecting pro-abortion violence and painting parents critical of left-wing classroom indoctrination as dangerous, to disproportionate prosecution of January 6 attendees for nonviolent offenses and retaliation against FBI agents who objected.

Vessel full of illegals slams into dock at Mission Bay hotel hours before another boat intercepted by U.S. Coast Guard

A boat carrying illegal aliens was intercepted in San Diego waters just hours after another vessel full of illegals landed at hotel in the same area, according to reports.

On Sunday morning, a pleasure craft carrying around 10 people reportedly slammed into a fuel dock at the Hyatt Hotel in Mission Bay.

Eight suspects were arrested and taken to a Customs and Border Protection facility for processing, Fox 5 reports.

A short time later, another smuggling boat was interdicted at the entrance to Mission Bay by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG).

“This one never made it to a dock unlike the one reported earlier that crashed into the Hyatt fuel dock,” local journalist Amy Reichart reported on Tuesday, citing an inside source.

“The U.S. Coast Guard transferred 7 people from Mexico to the Border Patrol.”

As Reichert pointed out, many illegals who choose to enter the U.S. by such covert means often do so because their criminal records or deportation histories could likely lead to their removal.

The USCG Southern California says 21 suspected smuggling operations involving 106 people were detected between July 1 and 7.

“Alarmingly, 6 tried to swim to the USA,” USCG SoCal stated on social media.

On July 1, three smuggling boats reportedly landed on San Diego beaches but no suspects were located at the time.
