A Growing Number of Russians Approve the Use of Nuclear Weapons in Ukraine

The findings reveal a nuanced spectrum of public opinion, with 31 percent firmly against the use of nuclear weapons and an additional 21 percent leaning toward opposition.

A growing number of Russians are expressing readiness to support Vladimir Putin’s potential use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine. According to recent surveys by the Levada Centre, approximately 34 percent of respondents – slightly more than one in three – would either definitely or likely approve of the use of nuclear arms in the conflict.

This marks a significant increase of five percent from a year ago and represents the highest level of support since Putin initiated his controversial military campaign against Ukraine.

The findings reveal a nuanced spectrum of public opinion, with 31 percent firmly against the use of nuclear weapons and an additional 21 percent leaning toward opposition. This upward trend in support for nuclear options is widely attributed to effective messaging from Russian propagandists seeking to rally nationalistic sentiments in favor of such drastic measures.

Putin orders tactical nuclear missile drills

Recent developments have seen Vladimir Putin ordering tactical nuclear missile drills across Russia and in neighboring Belarus, where significant deployments of atomic weaponry have been orchestrated. These maneuvers are part of broader strategic initiatives, potentially involving a revision of Russia’s nuclear doctrine to facilitate more flexible and preemptive use of nuclear capabilities.

(Related: Russian insider Viktor Bout says nuclear WWIII is IMMINENT.)

In parallel with these military exercises, which coincide with geopolitical transitions such as recent changes in leadership in Britain, Russia’s defense forces are actively conducting large-scale nuclear missile drills.

These exercises, including the deployment of Yars missile crews in regions like Irkutsk and Ivanovo, showcase Russia’s capability to swiftly mobilize and demonstrate readiness in response to perceived threats.

Russia’s Ministry of Defense (MoD) has underscored that these drills are part of multi-phased exercises involving tactical nuclear weapons, coordinated closely with Belarusian counterparts.

Activities include electronic missile launches, naval patrols and ground troop movements aimed at simulating real-world scenarios and ensuring operational preparedness.

The heightened military activities and shifting public sentiment reflect a tense geopolitical environment, exacerbated by ongoing international sanctions and diplomatic tensions.

As Russia continues to assert its strategic interests in the region, these developments underscore the volatile nature of current global security dynamics.

According to reports from Interfax and Reuters, the crews operating Yars missile launchers in at least two different regions were tasked with relocating over 100 kilometers (62 miles) and practicing maneuvers such as camouflage and deployment. The ministry also indicated that similar exercises would be conducted by other missile units shortly.

Footage released by the military showcased a mobile launcher navigating forested roads and assuming concealed positions under camouflage to avoid detection.

The earlier tactical nuclear drills held in late May were justified by the MoD as a response to what it deemed as provocative statements and threats from certain Western officials.

This included reported discussions among U.S. and U.K. officials advocating for Ukrainian offensives on Russian territory, purportedly supported by U.S.-supplied weaponry.

Among the concerns raised by Moscow from Western quarters is the prospect of NATO troops being stationed in Ukraine, a proposal initially broached by French President Emmanuel Macron earlier in the year at a security conference in Paris.

Strategic show of strength ahead of NATO summit

These recent nuclear drills with mobile launchers are viewed as a demonstration of readiness and a strategic show of strength ahead of the upcoming NATO summit scheduled from July 9 to 11 in Washington D.C.

The potential accession of Ukraine into NATO is anticipated to be a pivotal topic at the summit, which Moscow perceives as a critical red-line issue.

Despite the U.S. advocating for a pathway for Ukraine’s future NATO membership, a recent letter published by Politico, signed by numerous foreign policy experts, cautions against precipitous promises, arguing that such commitments could escalate tensions and prolong the conflict with Russia.

In essence, these military maneuvers underscore Russia’s stance on regional security and its assertive response to perceived threats from Western geopolitical strategies, especially concerning Ukraine and NATO.

Meta Tightens the Reins on Anti-‘Zionist’ Terminology

Meta Tightens the Reins on Anti-‘Zionist’ Terminology

According to a blog post from Meta, content that attacks “Zionists” under antisemitic pretenses will now be removed.

Meta, the owner of both Facebook and Instagram, has taken a further stance in censoring content that uses the term “Zionists,” particularly in a way that conflates the term with Jewish or Israeli identities.

Previously, the term was tightly regulated only in very explicit instances. However, the revised guidelines now include a broader array of phrases where neither “Jew” nor “Israeli” are specifically mentioned, signaling a significant shift in policy.

The impetus for this policy enhancement came in the aftermath of the attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7, 2023. This event has catalyzed several changes in Meta’s content moderation practices.

In defining “Zionist” usage, Meta acknowledges the complexity of the term, which is often employed in political discourse about Israel and its policies. While Zionism is historically linked to the Jewish movement advocating for a sovereign state in the Middle East, Meta is arguing that its current usage on social platforms can sometimes extend to implicit or explicit antisemitism and has expanded its censorship policies.

According to a blog post from Meta, content that attacks “Zionists” under antisemitic pretenses will now be removed. This includes insinuations of global control or comparisons to animals.

Meta announced that it is also waiting on its Oversight Board to offer guidance on whether to allow comparisons between proxy terms for nationality (including Zionists) and criminals (e.g., “Zionists are war criminals.”).

The World Jewish Congress (WJC) has applauded Meta for its decision to treat the inappropriate usage of the term “Zionist” as a substitute for “Jews” as antisemitic Tier 1 “hate speech.”

World Jewish Congress President Ronald S. Lauder stated, “Meta’s decision is a much-needed advancement in our ongoing fight against online antisemitism and hatred. By recognizing and addressing the misuse of the term ‘Zionist,’ Meta is taking a bold stand against those who seek to mask their hatred of Jews.”

“We appreciate that Meta has truly listened to the voices of Jewish communities that we work with. This policy change will help create a safer, more respectful online environment for everyone. I hope all other platforms will follow Meta’s leadership and take similar action,” added Lauder.

Prior to the policy revision, 73 groups formally expressed their concerns to Meta through a letter. They argued that expanding the policy could improperly label discussions on Zionists—and consequently, Zionism—as inherently antisemitic. They emphasized that equating “Zionist” with antisemitism could mistakenly merge legitimate critiques of Israeli government actions with hate speech.

“This move will prohibit Palestinians from sharing their daily experiences and histories with the world, be it a photo of the keys to their grandparents’ house lost when attacked by Zionist militias in 1948, or documentation and evidence of genocidal acts in Gaza over the past few months, authorized by the Israeli Cabinet, which includes members of the Religious Zionist Party,” the letter read. “And it would prevent Jewish users from discussing their relationships to Zionist political ideology.”

Researchers Create World’s First Anode-Free Sodium Solid-State Battery That Can Replace Lithium Batteries in EVs

English coroner warns about dangers of lithium-ion batteries in e-bikes, e-scooters.

University of California, San Diego (UCSD) graduate researcher Grayson Deysher and his team have created an affordable and eco-friendly power source: an anode-free solid-state battery to enable fast charging and high energy density. This advancement helps solidify the role of sodium in future battery technologies, paving the way for really sustainable energy solutions.

The group of the Laboratory for Energy Storage and Conversion (LESC) made the groundbreaking discovery, which could be the answer to inexpensive, fast-charging, high-capacity batteries for electric vehicles and grid storage.

Deysher and his team’s findings were published in the monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal Nature Energy. The design of the new battery architecture allows for stable cycling for several hundred cycles. The solid-state design ensures the battery is both safe and powerful.

“Although there have been previous sodium, solid-state and anode-free batteries, no one has been able to successfully combine these three ideas until now,” Deysher said.

Since the anode is removed and sodium is used instead of lithium, the new battery is more affordable and environmentally friendly to produce. The study indicated that anode-free batteries store ions on the electrochemical deposition of alkali metal directly on the current collector, which enables higher cell voltage, lower cost and increased energy density. In traditional batteries, an anode stores ions during charging. While the battery is in use, ions flow from the anode through an electrolyte to a cathode.

“In any anode-free battery, there needs to be good contact between the electrolyte and the current collector,” Deysher further explained.

As liquid electrolytes create a buildup of solid electrolyte interphase that steadily consumes active materials, reducing battery effectiveness over time, the team designed a current collector from aluminum powder. This powder flows like a liquid to surround the electrolyte. During assembly, the powder was densified under high pressure. This formed a solid current collector while maintaining liquid-like contact with the electrolyte. As a result, the battery achieves low-cost and high-efficiency cycling.

“Sodium solid-state batteries are usually seen as a far-off-in-the-future technology,” added Deysher. “But we hope this paper can invigorate more push into the sodium area by demonstrating that it can indeed work well, even better than the lithium version in some cases.”

Deysher and scientist  Y. Shirley Meng, principal investigator at LESC and professor at the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering, have already filed a patent application through UCSD’s Office of Innovation and Commercialization.

English coroner warns about dangers of lithium-ion batteries in e-bikes, e-scooters

A coroner in Bristol, the largest city in south-west England, has called on the government to prevent future deaths related to e-bike and e-scooter fires. He thinks there is a “lack of understanding” about the potential dangers of lithium-ion batteries used in EVs.

On September 2022, Abdul Oryakhel died after falling from the window of his flat on the 16th floor when he tried to escape from a fire caused by the overheating and ignition of a lithium-ion battery pack from an e-bike. His death has been ruled as an accident. Meanwhile, another one was injured with burns whilst also escaping. Two people escaped by crawling out a kitchen window and being rescued by emergency services.

Coroner Maria Voisin said there is, “a risk that future deaths will occur unless action is taken” and that she understands that “there is currently no British or European standard to control what lithium-ion e-bike batteries and chargers can be sold in the United Kingdom.” She also said that she is aware that other coroners have written similar reports but this only goes to emphasize that preventable deaths continue.

Another coroner named Adam Smith called for tighter regulations on e-bike batteries and charging devices after a father of two lost his life in a fire last year. This was about the incident where Mizanur Rahman, 41, died in a flat fire in March 2023, which the London Fire Brigade said was caused by a faulty lithium e-bike battery on charge.

The coroner recommended that the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) instigate a “British or European standard to control what lithium-ion e-bike batteries and chargers can be sold in the United Kingdom.”

Last September, the OPSS already published information for consumers on e-bike and e-scooter safety. This included unplugging batteries when charging has finished as well as advice on using manufacturer-recommended batteries and chargers and recommendations to buy from known sellers and check product reviews.

It also issued an “Important Safety Message” in December, which aimed at those looking at buying an e-bike or e-scooter. It recommended only buying from a known seller, always following the manufacturer’s instructions, only using the manufacturer’s recommended battery or charger, always charging in a safe place and never attempting to modify or tamper with a battery.

Japan’s Supreme Court Orders Compensation to Victims of Now-Defunct Eugenics Law

Japan’s Supreme Court Orders Compensation to Victims of Now-Defunct Eugenics Law

The Eugenic Protection Law, in place from 1948 to 1996, empowered Japanese authorities to force sterilization and even abortion onto those with disabilities.

(LifeSiteNews) — On July 3, Japan’s Supreme Court ruled that the government must compensate several individuals who were forcibly sterilized under the nation’s now-defunct Eugenics Protection Law, the Associated Press (AP) reported.

The Eugenic Protection Law, in place from 1948 to 1996, empowered Japanese authorities to forcibly sterilize people with disabilities, including those suffering from mental disorders, hereditary diseases or physical deformities, and leprosy. The law also permitted forced abortions if either parent suffered from a disability.

Last Wednesday, the nation’s highest court ruled that the 1948 law was unconstitutional and dismissed the government’s allegation that it should not pay compensation to victims due to the 20-year statute of limitations. It also ordered that the government pay 16.5 million yen (about $102,000) to the plaintiffs and 2.2 million yen ($13,000) to their spouses, the AP reported.

“The legislative intent of the former Eugenic Protection Law cannot be justified in light of the social conditions of the time,” said Judge Saburo Tokura when passing the judgment, as cited by public broadcaster NHK.

“The law imposes a grave sacrifice in the form of the loss of reproductive capacity, which is extremely contrary to the spirit of respect for individual dignity and personality, and violates Article 13 of the Constitution,” Tokura continued.

The court’s decree regarded 11 of the 39 plaintiffs who submitted their cases to five lower courts across the country before getting their case heard by the Supreme Court. The court has yet to rule on the cases of the remaining litigants.

According to the text of the now-scrapped law, it was implemented to “prevent the increase of the inferior descendants from the eugenic point of view.”

Consequently, around 25,000 people were sterilized without consent when the law was in effect, according to the court ruling which cited ministry data. While authorities allege that 8,500 people agreed to the procedures, lawyers retorted that these people were “de facto forced” into surgery due to the pressure they faced. Moreover, tactics such as physical restraint, anesthesia and even “deception” were permitted for sterilization procedures, as per a 1953 government notice.

Shockingly, a parliamentary report released in June 2023 found that some of the victims of the anti-life law were as young as nine years of age.

Eventually, the law was replaced by a 1996 amendment.

After the top court ruling, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said he would meet the victims in person to apologize, reports said.

The plaintiffs, some of them in wheelchairs, held up banners saying “thank you” and “victory” outside the court after the decree. “I couldn’t be happier and I could have never done this alone,” said an 81-year-old plaintiff in Tokyo who chose to utilize the pseudonym Saburo Kita, in remarks cited by NBC News.

Kita testified that he was sterilized in 1957 when he lived in an orphanage. He added that he revealed his secret to his wife before her death, elaborating that he regretted their inability to have children due to his sterilization.

Likewise, Yumi Suzuki, who was born with cerebral palsy and forcibly sterilized when she was just 12, declared to the BBC in a 2021 interview:

When I found out I realized I could never be a mother… It broke my heart.

In 2023, Japan’s Kumamoto District Court ordered the government to pay damages totalling 22 million yen ($170,000) in compensation to two victims over their forced sterilization, Kyodo News reported.

Under a law passed in 2019 after one of the sterilization-linked lawsuits, surviving victims can each obtain 3.2 million yen ($19,800) in damages. Of the 1,300 applicants for this compensation scheme, reports say 1,100 have been successful in obtaining compensation.

Pfizer is Acquiring Drug Companies to Profit From Chronic Diseases Caused by Their Own Covid ‘Vaccines’

Pfizer acquired drug companies that treat immune-inflammatory diseases, including myocarditis, various cancers, capitalizing on the turbo cancer epidemic and blood flow blockages.

If you want to know the long-term side effects of the COVID-19 vaccines, pay close attention to Pfizer’s latest acquisitions. Since the rollout of their COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer has acquired specific pharmaceutical companies that treat immune-inflammatory diseases, heart inflammation and various cancers. As their experimental use vaccine was being mandated on the population (including on the military) Pfizer was investing in drugs that target health conditions that were created and/or exacerbated by their experimental vaccines.

Pfizer acquired a drug company that treats immune-inflammatory diseases, including myocarditis

For instance, in 2021, Pfizer acquired Arena Pharmaceuticals. The price tag of the acquisition was disproportionate to the market size of the drug they acquired, but the shrewd Pfizer executive team knew the acquisition would be worth it in the end. By acquiring Arena Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer was able to control the future of therapeutics for various immune-inflammatory diseases, including drugs that address heart inflammation (myocarditis and pericarditis). These health problems skyrocketed after 2021, when Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccines were unlawfully mandated on populations and haphazardly placed on the CDC’s childhood vaccine schedule. Today, Pfizer is profiting from health issues that they caused, keeping people in a state of illness and pharmaceutical dependence.

Pfizer acquires drug company that treats various cancers, capitalizing on the turbo cancer epidemic

By 2023, Pfizer spent $43 billion of their vaccine profits to acquire Seagen Pharmaceuticals, a little-known drug company that specializes in cancer treatments. Now, Pfizer is profiting from the surge in turbo cancers that are affecting vaccinated people of all age groups. Turbo cancer is a new phenomenon where oncologists describe a new wave of aggressive cancers that that kill people in weeks or days, as opposed to months or years. There’s no doubt that something is causing immunodeficiency. The very thing that populations were told to take to protect those with immunodeficiency has created an entire new class of people with immunodeficiency and turbo cancers. Meanwhile, their destructive biological weapons remain on the market, ensuring that these health issues continue to be profitable ventures for years to come.

Pfizer acquires drug company that treats blood flow blockages

In 2022, Pfizer acquired global Blood Therapeutics, which has market exclusivity on a drug that treats sickle cell disease. Pfizer spent a disproportionate amount to acquire the company, based on projections that more people will present with this blood disease in the future. Sickle cell disease is described as a genetic disorder, so why would Pfizer invest in the drug? In sickle cell disease, red blood cells become crescent shaped due to a genetic mutation. These sickled red blood cells do not move easily, resulting in blood flow blockages. Could it possibly be that the drug is repurposed to treat other blood diseases that are characterized by blocked blood flow? COVID-19 vaccines are notorious for causing blood clots, so there’s potentially more use for this class of drug.

Pfizer’s exploitation of the population appears to be premeditated

Most shocking of all, this COVID-19 vaccine malfeasance appears to be premeditated. Before their vaccine was released to the public, Pfizer possessed evidence that their vaccine was already causing serious health issues in people who volunteered for the rushed clinical trials. In fact, the evidence showed that the vaccine caused inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, along with heart inflammation and antibody dependent enhancement that caused immune system failure. These Pfizer documents were concealed until a lawsuit forced Pfizer to produce the damning evidence of the vaccine’s harms.

But by then it was too late. A large portion of the population had already been lied to and coerced to take the injections, and the damage was widespread. Today, Pfizer is busying acquiring drug companies that treat the chronic conditions they helped cause, while they continue to exploit people with more booster shots and further blood damage.
