Freedom of Speech Dead? German Businessman Fined €6,000 For Billboard Mocking Green Party Politicians
A 52-year-old German entrepreneur has been fined for putting up a political billboard depicting Green party politicians in a negative light.
The billboard, which was erected in front of the house of German businessman Michael Much, mocked the top Green party heads. Green Party leader Ricarda Lang is pictured on a concrete roller, while Economics Minister Robert Habeck has empty pockets. Underneath the politicians is the slogan: “We’ll flatten everything.” Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock is also depicted as a little girl, a reference to her lack of foreign policy experience.
The poster also contains a widely mocked quote by Habeck, when he said: “Companies don’t go bankrupt, they just stop producing.” In response to this, the billboard asks provocatively: “Can he even count to three?”
Much is now being forced to pay a €6,000 fine, a fine he does not accept on the grounds that his right to freedom of speech was violated.
The billboard was erected during the last Bavarian state election campaign, and the posters were clearly visible from the street.
When issuing the fine, the court wrote that Much had “injured” the parties depicted in his billboard.
“In addition, as you at least accepted with approval, the statements on the banners were likely to make the public work of the injured parties considerably more difficult, especially in view of the state election campaign in Bavaria that was taking place at that time,” read the court’s statement.
Michael Much must now reappear in Miesbach District Court in Bavaria over his billboard after his appeal. The businessman said that he had grounds for exercising political speech, however, the court itself is using this as grounds to convict him. The court argues that he mocked the politicians “because they hold a prominent position in public life as politicians.”
In many other Western countries, such as the U.S., such political speech would be protected under freedom of speech rights. Germany itself also claims to have a number of freedom of speech protections built into its legal code and constitution.
Much says his business is also directly affected by the policies promoted by the Greens in the three-way coalition federal government, and he wished to voice his displeasure.
Much says that he is also speaking for other business owners fed up with Green Party policies. The businessman runs a group of four different companies in Bad Tölz with a total of 35 employees. His main business is a taxi company, which has been in his family for four generations
“You will be completely overwhelmed by the costs. It starts with electricity. Then, the diesel. The cost of spare parts, if they are available at all. The supply chain is broken. There are missing sectors. It’s not going well anymore,” he said to Welt in an interview.
A Wave of Censorship is Coming Ahead of The European Elections
It isn’t just political parties that are getting ready for the European elections. Meta, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, in liaison with the EU, is in the process of creating an Elections Operations Center, with scores of experts and analysts to identify and resolve potential threats.
The center will monitor cyberspace for disinformation, manipulation, and the abuse of AI, removing any content it considers to be false, harmful, or dangerous. In other words, they will act as censors.
The monitoring of 27 countries with a total population of 450 million has, according to Meta, required an investment of $20 billion to increase the number of people working in this sphere four-fold to 40,000. This includes 15,000 content verifiers who will examine material on Facebook and Instagram in 70 languages.
However, this army of 15,000 censors may not be enough, which is why Meta has decided to liaise with 29 organizations across Europe that have been chosen to monitor as well. All must have the IFCN (International Fact-Checking Network) certificate to guarantee transparency and neutrality.
The problem is that the IFCN is a Poynter Institute initiative, funded by leftist and liberal foundations, including those supported by George Soros and Bill Gates, which has engaged in promoting abortion euthanasia, gender ideology, mass migration, and the U.S. Democratic Party. So who will check whether or not they are being neutral?
The danger is that there will be the urge to suppress controversial content — content that may turn out to be true, as in the U.S. when people argued that Covid 19 came from a Chinese laboratory.
Recently, The Wall Street Journal, one of the most renowned and prestigious mainstream titles in the United States, published an article proving that Covid-19 was artificially created in a laboratory in Wuhan. But when four years ago, Steven Mosher, one of the most distinguished experts on China in the West, presented the same thesis, his article was negatively verified by “fact-checkers” and removed as fake news from social media.
We also saw how such censorious operations may look in the last U.S. presidential election. Big Tech giants removed content about Hunter Biden, declaring it unchecked and fake. In reality, the information turned out to be true and reached the public after the election. What’s to prevent this from recurring in Europe?

He went over his discussions with other globalists on methods of depopulation, such as neutron bombs (nuclear weapons that have a relatively low yield, yet produce a large amount of radiation, used to kill while doing minimal damage to infrastructure).
“Today, they figure that biologicals are much cheaper,” Green said regarding the globalist’s depopulation plan using bioweapons.

“General Flynn has talked about how the Chinese right now have seven divisions of military age men in this country,” she said. “…we have containers stashed around the country with blue helmets, U.N. uniforms and then of course any other arsenal.”

After a series of aviation mishaps, including the door plug that ripped off an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 Max jet earlier this year and other 737 and 777 incidents in recent weeks, coupled with intensified oversight from federal regulatory bodies, Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun is stepping down at the end of the year.

He also noted that the board’s chairman, Larry Kellner, will be stepping down at Boeing’s annual meeting in May. The board has elected Steve Mollenkopf to succeed Kellner as chair.
In addition to these major leadership changes, Stan Deal, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, will retire from the company, and Stephanie Pope will lead the commercial airplanes segment.
Last week, executives from major airlines spoke with Boeing’s board to express frustrations over quality control issues in the manufacturing process.
Calhoun has been on a mea culpa tour, acknowledging his company’s quality control issues. He has promised investors, airline customers, and the general public about the struggles and potential changes to the company.
Boeing shares are up 4% in premarket trading in New York on the major shakeup.
Calhoun replaced Dennis Muilenburg in 2019 for mishandling two deadly 737 Max crashes.

As you all know, the Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 accident was a watershed moment for Boeing. We must continue to respond to this accident with humility and complete transparency. We also must inculcate a total commitment to safety and quality at every level of our company.
The eyes of the world are on us, and I know we will come through this moment a better company, building on all the learnings we accumulated as we worked together to rebuild Boeing over the last number of years.
I want to thank each and every one of you for how you have stepped up to this challenge and for the work now underway to make sure we demonstrate to all stakeholders that the Boeing of the future is everything they should expect it to be. We have been working together for the last five years to address some of the most significant challenges our company and industry have ever faced in our 108-year history. I am confident that the way we have confronted these challenges, and how we are responding to this specific moment, is establishing standards for future generations of employees and will be woven into the fabric of how we operate for decades to come.
It is the future of our company that is the subject of my letter to you today. I have been considering for some time, in discussion with our board of directors, the right time for a CEO transition at Boeing. I want to share with you that I have decided this will be my last year as CEO of our great company, and I have notified the board of that decision.
I originally agreed to take on the role of CEO of Boeing at the board’s request, stepping down as board chair in the process, because of the unprecedented circumstances the company was facing at that time. It has been the greatest privilege of my life to serve in both roles and I will only feel the journey has been properly completed when we finish the job that we need to do. We are going to fix what isn’t working, and we are going to get our company back on the track towards recovery and stability.

My long-time partner in all things Boeing, our Chair Larry Kellner, has advised the board and me that he does not intend to stand for re-election at our upcoming Annual Meeting of Shareholders. The board has elected Steve Mollenkopf to succeed Larry as chair. Steve will lead the board process of selecting my successor as CEO. Larry, too, had been considering the appropriate moment to turn over the reins after more than four years as chair and 13 years on our board, and concluded that the CEO selection process should be led by a chair who will stay at the helm as a partner to the new CEO.
I want to express my deepest personal thanks to Larry for his outstanding leadership over the last number of years, and I know I speak for everyone at the company when I say, nobody could have worked harder or longer hours in dedication to his duties. Perhaps first, among the many legacies of his tenure, is profoundly strengthened governance at our company, including through his recruitment of several superb new board members, and his work with others on the board to establish our independent standing board aerospace safety committee. Larry is a professional in every way and someone to whom Boeing owes a great debt of gratitude.
