Human Smuggling Attempt Ends in Deadly Crash in Texas
A suspected human smuggler is facing a slew of charges following a crash in South Texas this week that left three people dead and three more seriously injured, authorities say.
The fatal wreck unfolded just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening in Dimmit County, near the Mexican border.
Police were attempting to stop a suspicious SUV on Highway 85 near Carrizo Springs when the driver took evasive action, ultimately losing control of the vehicle while trying to avoid a tire deflation device, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS).
All occupants of the vehicle were ejected during a rollover crash.

Shock Video: Gunman Opens Fire on Boys Rowing Team During Competition In California
Members of a youth rowing team narrowly escaped serious injury or death when a gunman opened fire on them during a competition in California, according to reports.
The incident unfolded in West Sacramento on the afternoon of April 20, but footage and information just surfaced this week amid a fruitless investigation by local authorities.
The Oakland Strokes boys rowing team was racing down the Sacramento River during a regatta in the capital city when shots rang out and bullets began striking the water just feet from their vessel.
A video taken by a parent was published on social media by KTVU reporter Henry K. Lee on Thursday.
“No parent should give any thought to sending a child to a sporting event…and think, ‘My child might get shot today.’ ” Teen boys w/@OaklandStrokes rowing team shot at in the Sacramento River. Reported w/@arasmusKTVU. @WestSacPD on the case. https://t.co/xNQOf8sB0E pic.twitter.com/kztgGxW87j

At least three shots can be heard, apparently alarming at least one of the teen boys who can be seen looking around in surprise as he continues to row.
“I was pretty shocked. I think all of us were. It’s horrifying,” Fred Ackerman, parent of a 15-year-old boy in the boat at the time, told KTVU.
“No one saw the shooter. There were dozens and dozens of people. There were boaters, there were people fishing, there were people walking along the path. Police don’t know where the shots came from.”
Authorities have not apprehended or identified any suspects in the case, according to the latest available updates.

Saudis Evict Locals With Lethal Force to Build ‘Green’ City in Line With Globalist Goals: Report
(LifeSiteNews) — Saudi Arabian officials have reportedly allowed the use of lethal force against local villagers to clear land to construct the “green” city named “The Line” that is being built in conformity with globalist agenda-linked 2030 climate policy plans with help from Western-based construction firms.
Per a recent BBC report, former Saudi Arabia intelligence officer Col. Rabih Alenezi, who is now in exile in the United Kingdom for fear of his security, noted he was given orders to evict villagers from a local tribe to clear land for the “The Line” project.
Reportedly, one person was shot and killed after refusing to leave the area. Abdul Rahim al-Huwaiti refused to let a land registry committee value his property and was shot by Saudi authorities one day later, when the clearance mission to evict the villagers was taking place. It was reported that he had posted videos on social media protesting the evictions.
As noted by the BBC, Saudi state security at the time claimed that Al-Huwaiti fired on security and that he was then shot in retaliation. However, human rights groups have said he was killed for refusing to leave the area and comply with eviction orders.
While the BBC noted that it was not able to “independently verify Col. Alenezi’s comments about lethal force,” it said a “source” who was familiar with the inner workings of Saudi intelligence told them that Alenezi’s testimony about the clearance mission, as well as the details about it, were accurate in terms of what such clearance missions entail.
Another 47 villagers have been arrested for not going along with evictions, many of them being leveled terrorism-related charges.
Alenezi noted that he does not regret his decision to ignore his clearance orders for the project, saying, “Mohamed Bin Salman will let nothing stand in the way of the building of Neom.”
“I started to become more worried about what I might be asked to do to my own people,” he noted.
“The Line” is the flagship “green” project of what is known as Neom, a $1.5 trillion development on the area’s Red Sea. It is being built as part of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 strategy, which looks to move the kingdom’s economy away from oil and its vast reserves.
“The Line” is in lockstep with United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes phasing out coal-fired power plants, reducing fertilizer usage, and curbing natural gas use over the coming decades.

Coast Guard Repatriates 51 Boat Migrants Attempting to Reach Puerto Rico
Dozens of ‘migrants’ apprehended in waters near Puerto Rico were brought to the Dominican Republic by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) this week.
The bust unfolded on Saturday evening in the Caribbean Sea approximately 27 nautical miles southwest of Mona Island, PR.
A USCG aircrew spotted a 30-foot boat engaged in an “unlawful maritime migration voyage” and a cutter was dispatched to intercept, USCG explained in a press release.
“Once on scene, the cutter crew stopped the vessel and embarked 52 migrants, 51 claimed to be Dominican Republic nationals and one other who claimed to be Haitian.”
On Tuesday, all 51 alleged Dominicans were repatriated while the lone Haitian remains in custody to face federal prosecution under 8 U.S. Code § 1324, which pertains to “bringing in and harboring certain aliens.”

More than 1,200 foreign nationals have been interdicted in waters around Mona Island and Puerto Rico since October 1.
In early April, three maritime incursions involving more than 100 ‘boat migrants’ were thwarted near Puerto Rico during a busy 24-hour period in the Caribbean.
Shortly afterward, a total of 101 illegal entrants were repatriated to the Dominican Republic.
The USCG seemingly cast doubt on the legitimacy of some of the illegals’ claims of being from the Dominican Republic amid concerns about increased migration out of Haiti due to explosive civil unrest and violent anarchy there.
Haiti and the Dominican Republic both lie on the island of Hispaniola, and Dominican authorities have escalated efforts to seal off the border and deport large numbers of Haitians in recent months.

Polish PM Tusk Hijacks Parliamentary Debate to Accuse Conservative Opposition of Being ‘Russian-Paid Servants’
During a tense debate in the Polish parliament, Prime Minister Donald Tusk did not mince his words as he accused the conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party of being “paid traitors and Russian servants.”
During the debate leading up to the vote, Prime Minister Donald Tusk spoke about Russian influences within the Law and Justice party. The head of government announced the establishment of a new service alongside the prosecutor’s office and a commission to investigate Russian and Belarusian influences within the opposition benches.
“We are dealing with the governance of a political party that has been operating here in Poland under the influence of Russian interests for many, many years,” Tusk claimed.
He also outlined the history of recent years, explaining that PiS came to power as a result of cooperation with Russia during the so-called tape scandal, accusing the previous conservative government of turning a blind eye to Russian interests in Poland for political reasons.
All this took place in the Sejm during the debate on the Law and Justice party’s motion to dismiss the environment minister. This was not about the prime minister disclosing the sensational case of Judge Tomasz Szmydt, whose judicial immunity was just lifted to issue a warrant for his arrest due to his alleged espionage for eastern intelligence after he sought asylum in Belarus. Nor was it about the debate on Russian influences.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk decided to seize the opportunity to level the most serious accusations possible. Thus, we find ourselves in an extraordinary situation with two possible outcomes.
The first option: We take the prime minister’s words seriously. Deadly seriously. This means that tomorrow, the day after, and in the following days, the services will arrest decision-makers from recent years and prove their connections with Russia, presenting evidence of treason in court. After all, the prime minister, relying on reports from special services, would not accuse the party that has governed for the last eight years of being “Russian stooges” without having conclusive evidence, would he?
If, following the exposure of Judge Szmydt in Belarus, the concept of delegalizing PiS emerges, it seems we are acting according to a script written in the Kremlin.
But if that does not happen, then we are left with the second option. Namely, to shrug our shoulders and acknowledge that accusations of serving Russian interests have simply become part of the political folklore in Poland. PiS could just as easily accuse Tusk of colluding with Russia and serving Berlin and Moscow in the same way that Tusk claims the last eight years have been governed by Russian interests and influences. Then we go home, have dinner, and accept that nothing has happened.
But, then we will not be able to treat our state seriously. It’s one or the other. And regardless of which scenario plays out, Tusk’s bold claims have undoubtedly set the stage for a dramatic chapter in Polish politics.
