Ron Paul: Do We Finally Have a Peace Ticket?
Just as the Harris/Walz campaign was looking for a boost from the content-free Democratic National Convention last week, real drama broke out that pulled the country’s attention back toward Republican candidate Donald Trump. Rumors had been swirling for days that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. might suspend his independent run for the White House and endorse Donald Trump and on Friday he did just that.
In his powerful speech explaining the decision, RFK, Jr. made it clear that suspending his run was difficult, as was leaving a Democratic Party that has been almost synonymous with the name “Kennedy” for many decades. On both issues RFK, Jr. explained that he was guided by principles and values over party orientation and the fluff that has increasingly come to characterize American electoral politics.
It seems the more “polarized” much of American society becomes over which political party they support, the more the rest of us continue to see less and less difference between the two when it comes to actual policy. Both parties support the warfare/welfare state. Both pursue policies leading to poverty and war instead of peace and prosperity. Both are deluded into believing that the Federal Reserve can effectively manage the economy while we amass unimaginable levels of debt.
Americans are seeking authenticity and politicians who put principles above political parties and that is exactly what RFK, Jr. did last Friday. In his speech at the Trump rally, RFK served up severe criticisms of the Democrats for their embrace of endless war.
He said: “Judging by the bellicose, belligerent speech last night in Chicago, we can assume that President Harris will be an enthusiastic advocate for this and other neocon military adventures. President Trump says he will reopen negotiations with President Putin and end the war overnight as soon as he becomes President. This alone would justify my support for his campaign.”
It was a well-aimed blow at the Biden/Harris Administration, which pretends to be seeking peace while pouring gasoline on the numerous conflicts overseas.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed in her speech to the DNC that Vice President Harris is “working tirelessly” toward a ceasefire in Gaza literally as the Biden/Harris Administration announced another huge shipment of bombs to be used by the Israeli military to kill more Palestinians.
What can we hope for in RFK, Jr.’s bold move? For one, we should hope that coming out in favor of principles instead of hollow party identification can reduce the power of political parties altogether. Already in the Republican Party we are seeing a “new guard” emerge that is ready to break with the tired neocon stranglehold on the party.
So does RFK Jr.’s endorsement of Trump on principles rather than parties mean that we finally have a “peace ticket” to support? The short answer is “no,” we don’t have a peace ticket. Many of us who hoped that the first Trump presidency would be that peace ticket were disappointed to see the likes of John Bolton and Mike Pompeo litter the Administration. There is always the chance of a repeat of these mistakes. And neither Trump nor RFK seem reliably in favor of an end to the slaughter in Gaza.
So no, this is not a “peace ticket.” But at least with what we have seen this past week with RFK and Trump, we get the feeling that peace is on the menu. It’s a start.

DNC Volunteer SCORCHES ‘Out of Touch’ Democrat Party: ‘Don’t Think I Can Support Kamala Harris For President’
A volunteer for the Democratic National Convention spoke out against her party in a viral TikTok post over the weekend, confessing she’d become disillusioned with the party and realized it had become the party of out-of-touch elites.
The campaign worker explained how she’d been deeply involved in “progressive politics” for years before volunteering at the 2024 DNC.
“I just got back from the DNC where I signed up to volunteer and when I initially signed up to volunteer, Joe Biden was still the nominee. It wasn’t yet Kamala Harris,” she said.

“I’ve worked in progressive politics for a long time. I worked for many different Democratic candidates, Senate candidates, House candidates, even some Democratic organizations, and as the years have gone by, I found myself more and more disillusioned with the Democratic Party.”
She explained how her experience working on Democratic campaigns has given her a look “behind the scenes” where she learned candidates spend the bulk of their time “begging rich people for money.”
“It’s pretty much the only people they talk to,” she said. “And what this inevitably means is that we don’t actually live in a democracy. It’s just rich people calling the shots and having the access to the politicians.”
She went on to explain how she realized that the DNC was filled with “the most elite and out of touch people in the entire world.”
“When I first got into politics, I thought the Democrats were the party of the people. And at the DNC this week I felt like I was in a building with the most elite and out-of-touch people in the entire world,” she said. “It very much felt like, ‘let’s just have a huge party and forget all our problems because the vibes are brat.’”
“I didn’t feel any connection to Real America or the place that I come from which is the Midwest, Kansas City, Missouri,” she continued. “I didn’t feel any connection to the people that I know right now who are struggling to buy their groceries or to pay their rent, the people who wanna know what both candidates are going to do to materially affect change in their lives.”
The volunteer also described how she realized through the DNC speeches that the party’s political priorities are far removed from what the average voter cares about.
“When I was there listening to the speeches, I felt myself feeling mad because I didn’t hear anything about the economy, definitely not in Kamala’s speech, and not very much in the others as well. Instead, I heard generic platitudes, things like ‘joy’ and ‘respect’ and ‘integrity,’ and what does that even mean?” she asked.
“‘Let’s make the military the most lethal in the world’? I thought I was part of the anti-war party,” she continued. “I thought I was part of the party that fought for the underdog, that championed working people. When and how did we just become the party of academia and affluence, because that’s what we are right now.”
By the time the DNC concluded, the campaign worker said she knew she wasn’t going to vote for Kamala Harris.
“I went to the DNC this year hoping that I would feel reconnected to the Democratic Party and I would have more of a sense of understanding of Kamala and her candidacy and what she stood for. But instead I ended up leaving and feeling the opposite, more disconnected and alone than ever,” she said.
“And I don’t think I can support Kamala Harris for president,” she added. “I don’t even know if I can call myself a Democrat anymore. I don’t know who I’m supporting but I know it’s not her, and for once I’m not afraid to say it.”

Breaking: Experimental Program that Drugs Unconscious Patients Responds to Infowars Investigation
In July Infowars published a report that a medical experimentation program funded by the Department of Defense (DOD – formerly the Department of War) is administering fentanyl and ketamine to unconscious patients without their consent, thereby automatically enrolling them in a clinical trial.
Infowars reached out to the program for comment. Following the inquiry, the questions Infowars asked were posted, with answers, on the study program’s information page. The questions Infowars asked, with answers to them, are as follows:
An FDA rule that went into effect January 22 allows for individuals to be enrolled into medical experiments, referred to as clinical trials, as well as receive investigational drug treatments without first consenting to becoming a medical test subject.
“This final rule allows an exception from the requirement to obtain informed consent when a clinical investigation poses no more than minimal risk to the human subject and includes appropriate safeguards to protect the rights, safety, and welfare of human subjects. The final rule permits an institutional review board (IRB) to waive or alter certain informed consent elements or to waive the requirement to obtain informed consent, under limited conditions, for certain FDA-regulated minimal risk clinical investigations,” the Federal Register said.
Numerous healthcare sites in the country are now automatically enrolling people in the clinical trial for fentanyl and ketamine, administered during transport in an ambulance while the patient is unconscious from a traumatic accident, such as a car wreck.
“Normally, researchers must ask a person for their consent before they can be in a study. Because severe traumatic injuries must be treated right away, there may not be time to get consent. Giving consent for medical research usually means reading information, talking with doctors and nurses and having time to think about whether to join. A person with traumatic injury is often not able to do these things. Sometimes researchers can talk to the patient’s family to ask for consent. However, in the emergency of a traumatic injury, the family is often not around or can’t be found before the injured person must be treated. This study could not be done without special permission to include people before getting consent. This permission is called Exception From Informed Consent (EFIC),” a press release from the medical provider network Guthrie said.
Non-consenting medical experimentation on the public has long been criticized by Alex Jones.
The U.S. has a long and colored history of lethal medical experimentation.
