DNC ‘Roasts’ and ‘Owns’ Characterized Wednesday’s Performance

Even liberals dunked on the DNC.

After kicking off Monday with cringe, a number of brutal verbal punches and proverbial beatdowns took place at the Democrat National Convention (DNC) on Wednesday.

Former President and alleged serial rapist Bill Clinton spoke at the convention Wednesday. Doing so got him dunked on by CNN panelist Scott Jennings Wednesday night.

“I wonder about the younger audience and how they view somebody like Bill Clinton today because he’s not a blue-collar hero to them. They know a lot of other things about him that frankly make me wonder how in the world he still makes these kinds of stages, to be honest,” Jennings said during a CNN panel he co-hosted.

While the 1990’s President likely fell out of favor with the crowd still in diapers during his tenure, Jennings didn’t stop his roast of the Democrat party with the saxophone-playing sweet-talking Arkansas womanizer. More recent Democrat executive records found their way onto his chopping block as well.

“Democrats have controlled the White House for 12 of the last 16 years, and somehow, it’s still all Trump’s fault,” Jennings told the panel.

Wow…just wow.

Look at the faces on the CNN panel as a huge truth bomb is dropped.

The Biden Administration Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo got fact-checked while speaking on ABC News after she claimed that the non-existent Biden-created jobs actually existed, rebuking data that indicates otherwise while simultaneously turning the debacle into an attack against Donald Trump.

Harris-Biden Commerce Sec. Gina Raimondo says she doesn’t believe new government data that shows almost a million of the jobs the Harris-Biden admin claimed to have “created” don’t actually exist.

“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were cooking the books the whole time and lying to the American people,” Cristina Laila said in The Gateway Pundit Wednesday. “The non-farm payroll growth between April 2023 to March 2024 was revised down, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said on Wednesday. That’s 68,000 fewer jobs per month – 115,000 fewer manufacturing jobs and 45,000 fewer construction jobs.”

Sickeningly, or perhaps scrumptiously, maggots were discovered in DNC Delegate’s breakfasts at a Chicago hotel.

It is unknown why this news story is even a news story, as liberals are pushing for maggot milk to supplant real milk, for the environment of course. It seems as though the extra free protein would have been much appreciated by the liberal diners.

While the maggots were an alleged attack by an anti-Democrat activist, another anti-Democrat activist, Alex Strenger, took quite the opposite approach when he satirically embraced the liberal agenda as a White Dude for Kamala Harris.

Maggots weren’t the only food on the table at the DNC. An obese woman appeared to threaten cannibalism in her call to action.

Chris Cuomo Exposes American Uniparty Elites At DNC

‘When people talk about uniparty, we are strangled by the money reality in our politics,’ says Cuomo.

News Nation reporter Chris Cuomo, brother of former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, ripped into the corporate interests buying out politicians in both major American political parties while covering Wednesday’s Democratic National Convention.

There is a reality at the DNC that is the same as the RNC. And what makes the parties the same should worry you the most and must change. pic.twitter.com/3x4ZQD02TO

— Christopher C. Cuomo (@ChrisCuomo) August 22, 2024

Pointing towards the top of the arena where the DNC was held, Cuomo said, “Look at the ring of suites, okay? This is not unique to Democrats. There is a game of money. When people talk about uniparty, we are strangled by the money reality in our politics. Those suites start at five-hundred grand. You think there’s like a teacher group up in there?”

“That’s the game. You pay to play,” he continued. “Those boxes are filled with the same people that they say they’re going to regulate. They are literally looking down on the faithful and being told, ‘Yeah, yeah, we’re going to break down on them. We’re going to make them pay their share.’ They paid 500, 700, a million, a million and a half to have those seats, they get hotel suites that are probably gifted to the party and the same thing is true on the Republican side.”

The clip went viral online as it’s refreshing for a mainstream journalist to call out the corrupt lobbyists and corporations paying to influence U.S. politics.

Nordic Countries Address ‘Spillover’ Migrant Crime from Sweden

Permanent joint operations to focus on gang activity and digital channels used to recruit young people.

Nordic countries are stepping up their regional cooperation to fight Sweden’s increasingly international organized crime gangs after a surge of incidents in neighboring Norway and Denmark, justice ministers of Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo announced during their joint press conference on Wednesday, August 21st.

These efforts will include “joint operations and joint patrolling,” primarily in Sweden and at the request of the Swedish police, Norwegian Justice Minister Emilie Enger Mehl told the media in the Danish capital.

Norway, a non-EU country but a member of the Schengen area, has been wanting to ramp up regional cooperation since it has been discovered recently that “Swedish” migrant gangs are active in every region of the country, with a steadily increasing prevalence of violent crime.

Apart from police officers, Norway, Denmark, and Finland also send criminal investigators to Sweden to facilitate knowledge exchange across the border and learn as much as they can about the nature of the problem. The Nordic anti-gang police hub is being set up in Stockholm, where Finnish and Norwegian officers are already stationed, and will be joined by their Danish colleagues in a few weeks.

???? The operations would not only focus on gang activity but also on “digital channels [that] have been used to recruit young people,” the Swedish minister Gunnar Strömmer stressed, highlighting that 25 of recent cross-border incidents involved Swedish youths hired by Danish criminals to do the riskier tasks, like hit jobs on rival gangs.

The latest of such incidents—a bomb attack in downtown Copenhagen, carried out by two from Sweden—prompted Denmark to contemplate reintroducing permanent border checks on the famous Øresund Bridge which connects the capital with the gang-ridden city of Malmö in Southern Sweden.

Although Sweden’s gang problem is measurably spreading across its borders, the problem is nowhere as severe in the neighboring countries as it is within. Last year Sweden registered over 350 successful or thwarted bombings and 363 shooting incidents (including 53 fatalities and 109 woundings)—the highest numbers in all of Europe, in a country that once used to have the least amount of firearm crime, per capita.

In contrast, the other three Nordic countries registered only six fatal shootings combined in 2023, but they want to stop the problem before it spirals out of control. “The reality right now is that not only Denmark but large parts of the Nordic countries are feeling the consequences of Sweden’s long-standing failed immigration and legal policies, and we take that extremely seriously,” Danish Justice Minister Peter Hummelgaard said last week.

Of course, not just the neighbors, but Sweden also knows that it was their extremely lenient asylum policy that led to the situation. That is why the country’s center-right government set out to fundamentally overhaul the system by taking away most of the primary incentives attracting economic migrants.

The new policies appear to be successful: in less than two years Sweden has reached ‘net emigration’ for the first time in half a century, as more Middle Eastern migrants left the country this year than arrived—although later it was revealed that spectacular numbers may have been the result of a technical error at the population registry.

EU States Refuse Zelenky’s Call to Repatriate Ukrainian Refugees for the Frontline

European nations are refusing calls from Kyiv to send back drafting-age males.

European nations are rejecting calls from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy to repatriate fighting-age male refugees to their homeland to assist on the frontline.

Zelensky appealed to several EU countries to deport men of military age back to bolster military numbers both prior to and during Ukraine’s counter-offensive push into Russia this month.

The request was unanimously rejected by EU member states.

Ukrainian news site New Voice specifically referenced opposition from Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic because these countries have a shortage of workers. In Poland and the Czech Republic, for example, Ukrainians make up 30 percent of the workforce in the construction and transport sectors, and they would be reluctant to give up this labor.

“Frankly speaking, many Czech companies depend on the skills and hard work of Ukrainian refugees. The construction industry, for example, would come to a complete halt without Ukrainian workers,” said Tomasz Prouza, the head of a hospitality lobbying group in Czechia, to Bloomberg.

According to the UN Refugee Agency, there are currently more than 6 million Ukrainian refugees abroad, and it is likely that another 400,000 will leave the country in 2024 due to the persistent Russian attacks on infrastructure across the country.

FBI Raids US Home of Soviet-Born Former Trump Adviser

FBI Raids US Home of Soviet-Born Former Trump Adviser

FBI Raids US Home of Soviet-Born Former Trump Adviser

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has raided and searched the house of Dimitri Simes, who used to be a political advisor to former President Donald Trump and a vocal critic of the administration of President Joe Biden.

According to the Virginia-based newspaper Rappahannock News, which first reported the story, the FBI agents executed a search warrant on the home of Simes, a Russian-born political pundit and author, on Aug. 13.

Simes, whose name was included more than 100 times in the 2019 report by former Special Counsel Robert Mueller into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, told the news outlet that he was out of the country and had not been notified about the search ahead of time. He was unaware he was the focus of any current law enforcement investigation.

“I’m puzzled and concerned,” he said. “I have not seen a warrant. I was not contacted by any law enforcement or anyone else whatsoever.”

For Simes, the raid was “clearly an attempt to intimidate, not only somebody from Russia but just anyone who goes against official policies and particularly against the Deep State”

“I suspect that instead of trying to get me to come to the United States and to interrogate me or even to arrest me, their real purpose is to make sure that I would not come back,” he added.

The author’s son, Dimitri Simes Jr., described it as “a bandit-like intimidation attempt” by the U.S. government in a statement posted on X.

“The Biden regime is terrified of being called out over Ukraine and Israel,” he wrote. In another post, he added: “Elements of Biden regime are trying to disrupt any possibility for de-escalation with Russia and plunge America into World War III.”

In an email, FBI spokesperson Samantha Shero declined to comment on the raid, except to confirm that it had been authorized by a court.

Simes, who was born in Moscow, is a naturalized U.S. citizen who immigrated to the country in 1973. He served as an informal foreign policy adviser to former President Richard Nixon before leading the media company Center for the National Interest for nearly three decades. He was described by U.S. media as providing “a sympathetic platform for the Russian government in the heart of the D.C. policy establishment,” after Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) named him as a foreign policy adviser in 2014.

He was one of the people investigated by Special Counsel Robert Mueller as a suspected contact between Trump and the Russian government. The report finalized in 2019, which failed to find any evidence of collusion between Moscow and Trump’s 2016 campaign, also vindicated the political expert, confirming that his activities were normal for how D.C. operates.

Last year, Simes moderated a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. And in June, Simes participated in a closed-door meeting with Putin, the state-owned Russian news agency TASS reported.

Antonov calls out U.S. for “witch-hunt”

Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov slammed the FBI’s actions as part of “a witch-hunt.” He expressed outrage over the apparent increase in aggressive government actions against those deemed to be Russian sympathizers.

The ambassador explained that these attacks come against the backdrop of the U.S. election campaigns amid a growing nationwide crackdown against those who Washington claims are Russian foreign assets working “in violation of foreign agent laws.”

Antonov expressed concern, saying: “We are certainly worried about what is happening.” He criticized Washington for its “double standards in the field of democracy and freedom of speech,” noting that “hundreds of people are declared objectionable simply because they dare to contradict the administration’s policies,” leading to actions such as “home break-ins, searches and seizure of documents.”

The incident has sparked discussions about law enforcement’s role in political affairs. Opinions diverge sharply on whether the FBI’s actions strike at the heart of Democratic freedoms or represent justified steps to maintain security.

Meanwhile, supporters of the Biden administration’s methods argue they are necessary to safeguard national interests. But critics see the raid as inappropriate, claiming it could discourage open discourse about critical global issues.
