Pro-life group head speaks out against unreasonable classification.

The U.S. Army is facing tough questions by the House Armed Services Committee regarding highly controversial slides it used in a domestic counterterrorism training module implying that pro-life groups are domestic terrorists.

The slide was presented at a training session at Fort Liberty (previously known as Fort Bragg) for the military police who are in charge of controlling the base’s access points.

Right after a slide featuring the brutal terrorists ISIS, they showed a slide listing pro-life groups under the heading “Terrorist Groups”. National Right to Life and Operation Rescue were singled out by name.

The slide, which was shared online by journalism watchdog Sam Shoemate, also showed a license plate featuring the pro-life slogan “IM4IT,” which some people who are against killing babies display on their cars.

It explained that the members of these groups could pose a threat to the safety of American military installations and that their logos could be an indication of terrorism.

A list of the activities these “terrorist” organizations take part in include being pro-life, “Truth Displays,” and opposing Rowe v Wade.

Subcommittee on Military Personnel Chair Jim Banks (R-Indiana) penned a letter to Army Secretary Christine Wormuth voicing outrage over the classification and training materials and demanding an explanation for them.

Banks told Fox News that the slides date back to at least last summer, which means that countless people could have been trained using this hateful mischaracterization. The person who uses the slides for their training is still employed by the facility.

“For over a year, someone at Fort Liberty has been teaching our troops that pro-life Americans are terrorists, and the Biden Pentagon didn’t stop it until House Republicans and the public raised the alarm,” he commented.

“I’m an Afghanistan war veteran, and it sickens me to see far-left radicals poisoning our military with this extremist hate. We must get woke activists out of our Armed Forces so that we have a military that’s focused on countering foreign terrorists overseas and not on targeting conservative Americans.”

Officials claim that the slides were “not vetted by the proper authorities,” adding that “The slides do not reflect the views of the 18th Airborne Corps, Fort Liberty, the U.S. Army or Department of Defense.”

In the letter, Banks accused the military of trying to silence conservative military personnel, noting: “That is, the Army is utilizing an overly broad policy to police the speech of conservative servicemembers, quiet dissent, and require servicemembers who believe in conservative ideals to hide their identities for fear of retaliation from their commands.”

In a statement, Fort Liberty representatives said that they will no longer use the controversial slides and vowed to carefully review future training products. One representative said that the presentations using the slides typically occur every two or three weeks at sessions attended by as many as 40 individuals.

National Right to Life President Carol Tobias spoke out against the inclusion of her group, which has always rejected the use of violence when advocating for protecting life, and accused Fort Liberty of spreading “outright lies.”

She added that this is something that speaks volumes about the current administration.

She stated: “Only under the Biden Administration can peaceful law-abiding citizens and their peaceful activities be considered ‘terrorism.’ The Biden Administration promotes the deaths of preborn babies and advocates for unlimited abortion, but peaceful pro-life Americans are labeled ‘terrorists.’”

Austria’s school system is shockingly overwhelmed by mass immigration, and now teachers are resigning en masse.

Teachers are quitting schools in Vienna in droves, with up to 20 teachers quitting per day due to the extremely stressful environments featuring mostly migrant children, many of whom do not speak German or very little German.

According to a study by the Austrian Statistical Office, around 70 percent of school-age children in Vienna do not speak German in their everyday life. Now, the rise of mass immigration has created growing problems in the Austrian school system, with the Vienna school system threatening to collapse.

Austrian politicians were more or less backing German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s idealistic approach to mass immigration from Muslim countries during the first big wave of migration in 2015. Now, Austrian schools are no longer able to cope with the problem they have been entrusted with because integration is still not a compulsory subject for immigrants.

According to teachers’ union member Thomas Krebs, teachers are fleeing Vienna’s compulsory schools “in droves.” However, the Vienna state government does not offer any useful ideas on how to deal with the increasing influx of students.

“On one peak day, I even received 20 reports of staff terminating (their contract) for the coming school year,” he stated.

Krebs notes the resignation wave is down to the Vienna state government failing to require sufficient German language skills when entering school and failure to take action against violence, extremism, and misogyny.

One of the biggest problems is simply the volume of migrants, and family reunification, which has seen a virtually unlimited flow of migrants into the capital city. He states that in order to save Vienna’s compulsory schools, “everyone who wants a place in a school must have German language skills; sanctions for violent and extremist students; a suspension of family reunification; and zero tolerance for misogyny, homophobia and anti-Semitism.”

In addition, state authorities need to offer security to teachers and ensure that the state sends a. message that inclusion does not come at any price.

In many schools, the situation is dire. Evelyn Kometter, chairwoman of the umbrella organization of parents’ associations across Austria, notes, “The teacher has to repeat a sentence 10 to 12 times until it is finally understood. But by then, two-thirds of the lesson is already over.”

In her role, Kometter is facing a never-ending deluge of parents complaining about the situations in their classrooms. “For example, there is a mother whose son is in a class with 22 students — only three of whom can speak German.” The result is pure chaos. “The teacher is not taken seriously and is not understood.”

The government’s response is not to improve the situation between teachers and students, but instead race to make space for more newcomers. Krebs states that all green space is being paved over, the government is building container classrooms, and huge school extensions are being constructed. However, there is no government concept beyond this.

“They can think of nothing better to do than to plow up the last green spaces and sports facilities for schools with excavators and construction equipment and to pave them over with containers and huge extensions without any real plan,” said Krebs.

The FPÖ is the only party raising the alarm

Austria’s most popular party, according to polling, the Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ), is also sounding the alarm, stating that the unchecked consequences of the past decade’s uncontrolled immigration are now “palpable in schools.” Now, asylum seekers are adding 300 new students a month to Vienna’s schools, children who do not meet any of the prerequisites for school attendance, including language skills.

Population charts show that the younger cohort features a far higher number of foreign nationals. There are almost 900,000 school-age children in Austria, of whom more than 20 percent do not have Austrian citizenship. Many of those who do have Austrian citizenship are not ethnic Austrians but have a migration background.

Vienna leads significantly with 39 percent, or nearly 80,000 children, who do not have Austrian citizenship, followed by Salzburg in the capital region. Urban areas have far higher numbers of foreigners.

The data shows that in five districts of Vienna, the proportion of third-country children aged between 6 and 15 exceeds 30 percent. Some districts, such as Brigittenau, Favoriten, and Ottakring, have rates above 40 percent, while Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus and Margareten have rates exceeding 50 percent.

The FPÖ notes that “according to a study by the Austrian Statistical Office, around 70 percent of school-age children in Vienna do not speak German in everyday life. One-third of children starting school in Vienna lack adequate German language skills to follow the lessons, even though two-thirds of these children were born in Austria. This language gap not only poses a challenge for the children but also creates considerable difficulties for both parents and teachers.”

“Those who do not speak German should not be allowed to attend school,” stated Hermann Brückl, the party’s education spokesman. He noted that language learning was not a problem for previous waves of refugees from Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Poland, or Yugoslavia, nor is it a problem for Ukrainian refugee children.

The issue, he said, has only now become glaringly apparent with immigration from Islamic countries.

The party also highlights that the cultural difference is reflected in the “growing problem of violence in schools. Eight out of 10 reported school crimes in Austria occur in Vienna, with 90 percent of these incidents committed by immigrant children.”

The FPO has drafted a nine-point plan to address the problem, but, as Brückl pointed out, the ruling parties only show interest in such proposals during campaign periods or when they have to “copy and paste” someone else’s work.

Austria is far from the only Western country facing a crashing school system due to mass immigration, with Germany’s school system facing an acute crisis, including rising violenceand tens of thousands of students who do not speak any German. Liberal parents in France are also racing to take their children out of schools with heavy immigrant populations, with private schools growing in number. In some of the most liberal cities in the world, segregation is the norm. New York City, for instance, is notorious for having the most segregated school system in the United States, with White and Asian parents desperate to keep their children out of schools with large populations of Hispanic and Black people. In other liberal cities, such as Los Angeles, segregation is actually “worsening,” with the same trends seen in New York occurring there as well.

Ruling class mandarins on both sides of the Atlantic are hollowing out the institutions of liberal democratic governance.

The bizarre resignation of President Joe Biden plunged the United States into a crisis unlike any it has known. This is what Biden and his party, those stalwart Defenders Of Democracy against the Trumpian menace, have done to the country, out of their arrogant self-righteousness. 

The June 27 Atlanta debate with Donald Trump destroyed the lie told by the White House, the Democrats, and their lackeys in the news media: that aging, enfeebled Joe Biden was fit for office. The post-debate network interviews and the campaign speeches at worst reinforced the declinist narrative, and at best failed to reassure anybody not already blinded by ideology. That number includes donors, whose idealistic political zeal is tempered by the hard fact that they have to pay for it.

Donations dried up. More and more Democratic members of Congress began to say Joe must go. Over the past few days, the Democratic leadership played an extraordinary game of psychological pressure, leaking to the media stories that the president was on the verge of withdrawing from the race, forcing the White House to issue denials. Was this an attempt at some kind of soft coup, an attempt to gaslight Biden into quitting?

And then, on Sunday afternoon, came the Biden letter standing down from the race, but not the presidency. Shortly thereafter came an announcement the president is fully behind Kamala Harris’s campaign. You would have thought such a momentous event would have been announced in a nationally televised speech, right? That’s what Lyndon Johnson did in 1968. Or at least a proper White House press conference. They did none of that. The White House, or whoever is running it now, announced a changing of the guard over Twitter.

All of this seems like a mocktail version of “House Of Cards.” How can we trust that the president knew what he was signing, or that he signed it at all? How can we be sure that Biden knew what was happening? After all, nobody thinks he controls his Twitter account. 

Nearly all of the prominent Democrats – with the notable exceptions of Barack Obama, and both Democratic Congressional leaders – fell in line behind the Harris campaign. Yesterday, former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki said on MSNBC that the nation will now be witness to a “process” designed by the Democratic Party chiefs to “make the vice president look strong, and be strong by the end….” In other words, a well-choreographed coronation. All very Democratic, if not democratic.

Still, as of this writing Monday morning, nobody has seen the president. It’s all very late Soviet, isn’t it? 

As GOP vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance said on Sunday, if Joe Biden is too weak and confused to run for political office, he is certainly too weak and confused to run the country. In 1968, nobody doubted Lyndon Johnson’s ability to do the job. Johnson resigned because he knew that given his personal unpopularity, he would lose; besides, he was fed up with dealing with the Vietnam War. 

That’s not the case with Biden. Everybody knows that Biden is more or less senile. That’s why he has jumped out of the race, or perhaps was pushed against his will. Vance pointed out that if Biden is incapable of doing his job, there is a constitutional solution for that: formal removal by the cabinet, under the 25^th Amendment. What is happening now might be formally permissible, but anyone with eyes to see must question its legitimacy.

Vance is obviously right: Nobody can possibly believe that Biden is physically and mentally unfit to be a candidate, but perfectly capable of stewarding the ship of state through treacherous waters: the Ukraine war, the rise of China, the potential of an Israel-Hezbollah clash leading to a wider Mideast war, and so forth. It tells you something that none of the leading American newspapers on Monday—all of them vociferously anti-Trump—are asking these obvious and important questions. The media are simply relieved that now there might be a chance to stop Trump. 

The U.S. has just entered one of the most dangerous periods of its existence. America’s enemies now know for sure its president is functionally incapacitated. They also must know that should Biden be called on to rally the nation to war, few Americans would answer the call. 

How could they? Since that fateful June night in Atlanta, the American people have witnessed an extraordinary drama about the nature of pride and power. Among the lessons learned is that the White House and its media lapdogs lied to the American people for the entirety of the Biden presidency, about the president’s mental and physical state. Anything to stop Trump, right?

This did not happen in a vacuum. We all know how the Establishment lied about Russiagate. We know how they misled the nation about Covid. We know about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which they all said was Russian disinformation, though that was a lie. We know that they pretended to be on the side of science, while privately pushing for throwing science aside to reform medical standards, for the sake of permitting the sexual mutilation, via chemicals and surgery, of little children. We know their disgusting double standards on the “mostly peaceful” BLM riots, and January 6, as well. We know they punish with cancellation conservatives whom they call bigots, while tolerating open antisemitic, anti-Asian, and anti-white bigotry on college campuses. On and on the list goes. 

And now we are supposed to believe the defenestration of Joe Biden, who as late as last week was angrily protesting his intention to stay in the race, was legitimate? It’s absurd. This lot are the defenders of democracy? It’s a sick joke. And if America’s foreign allies and enemies don’t know this, they are fools. 

I don’t believe they are fools—not even the EU mandarins, despite what they say in public. It is clear that the United States is now ruled—not governed, ruledˆby an elite that has power, but no authority. The Chicago coronation will rightly be laughed at as a charade—at best. Recall the last time the Democrats were in Chicago—1968, after the LBJ resignation. Street clashes between the Chicago police and antiwar protesters created a historical debacle that humiliated the party and led to the election that fall of Richard M. Nixon, the law and order candidate.

Antifa, pro-Palestinian protesters, and other leftist hotheads are lying in wait. They sense opportunities that the Democrats’ disgrace present. And they are surely not going to let them pass.

It is sometimes said that God loves drunks, fools, and the United States of America. It had better be true. The most powerful nation in the world has a ruling class that fewer and fewer Americans believe in. The “shining city on a hill” is a Potemkin village. If it had been otherwise, Donald Trump would never have been elected in 2016. Whatever one thinks of Trump, he has exposed the hypocrisies, the weaknesses, and the self-serving phoniness of the ruling class, both Democrats and Republicans. 

And now that regime loyalists have sabotaged the Democratic president that they protected with a phalanx of lies, until those lies no longer worked, their true nature stands revealed. The next few months will be among the most consequential in the history of American politics. America’s European allies must not allow themselves to be deceived about what’s really happening in Washington. 

Here is my greatest fear for my country: that the corruption and self-dealing of the establishment—both Democrats and Republicans—has reached such an advanced degree that a significant number of ordinary Americans no longer believe in liberal democracy. If it is true that Biden, Harris, and their ruling claque in the government, in academia, and in the media, represent “democracy,” then what sensible person can believe in democracy? 

Consider the trials of El Salvador, where the established parties in that democracy pathetically failed to deliver law and order, the most basic requirement for government. Nayib Bukele, the Caesar-like president of that country, is wildly popular among the Salvadoran people, because he fixed the problem by throwing all the gangs in prison. The chihuahuas of the human rights NGOs bark inconsequentially, but the Bukele caravan moves on, because he has not only power, but authority – authority that comes from having exercised that power to dramatically improve the lives of the masses. 

Is this coming for America? It is far from unthinkable. The Democratic Party and the Washington establishment—whose number includes Never Trump Republicans—expect Americans to believe that the future of American democracy depends on a California lightweight, a dingbat diversity hire and BLM riot enthusiast who failed conspicuously in the single job Biden gave her: managing the crisis on the U.S. southern border. Conservative U.S. Catholics angry at the Trump GOP for backing away from the party’s strong anti-abortion line must now face the fact that the likely Democratic nominee has been an abortion-rights fanatic who has been willing to trample the liberties of Catholic and Christian institutions, for the sake of imposing a pro-abortion hard line.

This is yet another opportunity for Europeans to reflect on the fact that Trump did not come from nowhere. What America, and the world, is seeing now, with this dirty behind-the-scenes Democratic Party drama, is yet another example of why Trump emerged: because the establishment failed, and lost its authority. From the start of the Trump presidency, that same establishment stopped at nothing to defend its power from Trump. The long, pitiful epiphany that began on June 27, in Atlanta, and now draws to its disgraceful close, shows us all how far they will go to “protect democracy”—which is to say, ruling-class privileges.

What’s happening in America now is also happening, in a sense, in Europe. The Brussels establishment and its allies in national capitals, and certainly in the media, posit themselves as defenders of democracy against supposed tyrants like Viktor Orbán, Marine Le Pen, Giorgia Meloni, and other leaders of the Right. In Germany, democracy’s defenders last week took the extraordinary act of closing down Compact, a magazine of ideas supporting Alternative for Germany, the country’s second-largest political party. 

What these ruling class mandarins are doing on both sides of the Atlantic is hollowing out the institutions of liberal democratic governance. The real enemies of democracy are those who have ordained themselves as its saviors. This will not end well.
