Hillary Says Trump Will Turn US Military on Americans
Former US president Donald Trump plans to use the military to round up and terrorize Americans, failed US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told CNN on Saturday.
The Republican frontrunner would become a “dictator on day one,” Clinton insisted, listing several affronts to democracy the Republican frontrunner supposedly had in store for Americans.
Hillary. Projecting again.

“If this bill from the Senate were ever put on the floor of the House, it would pass overwhelmingly,” but House Republicans “are not doing America’s business, they’re doing Donald Trump’s business. He’s a wannabe dictator.” pic.twitter.com/PggWa1pf7O
“He wants to round up people because of the way they look. They may or may not be undocumented, it doesn’t matter to him. He wants to call out the army to do that,” she claimed. “He wants to use the Insurrection Act to militarize American law enforcement.”
The former president was also plotting with a “team of right-wing thinkers” to “rid the government of any kind of independent expertise,” she claimed, referring to the conservative Project 2025 blueprint purportedly aimed at giving Trump a head start on draining the proverbial swamp.
“When he said memorably during Covid, ‘Maybe you should inject yourself with bleach,’ instead of looking shocked, [his cabinet will] say, “Yes sir, Mr. President,” she speculated.
“He wants to bend the government of the United States to his will, just like [Russian President] Vladimir Putin did to Russia,” she argued, insisting the former president would pull the US out of NATO as soon as the opportunity arose.
Clinton used her spot on a Saturday panel at the Munich Security Conference to issue a similar warning, urging those present to take Trump “literally and seriously” regarding his suggestion he would abandon allies to Moscow’s predation. “He will do everything he can to become an absolute authoritarian leader if given the opportunity to do so, and he will pull us out of NATO,” she said.
While Trump claimed at a rally in South Carolina earlier this month that he had told a delinquent NATO ally the US would not defend it if attacked unless it paid its bills – comments that loomed large over the conference – he did not threaten to pull the US out of the alliance during that speech, though he has floated the idea in the past.
Likewise, Trump did not actually advise Americans to inject themselves with bleach during the Covid-19 pandemic, though his suggestion that medical science explore the possibility of deploying “disinfectant” inside the body was widely condemned as ill-informed and irresponsible.
Clinton has long held Russia and Putin chiefly responsible for her 2016 election loss to Trump, though she has also blamed her erstwhile Democratic rival Bernie Sanders, former FBI chief James Comey, the looming specter of misogyny, and the voters themselves for her failure. Despite her campaign’s exhaustive efforts to paint the Republican as a Kremlin puppet, a special counsel investigation found no evidence he had colluded with Moscow.

Canada Pledges Hundreds of Drones to Ukraine
Canada will donate more than 800 SkyRanger R70 drones to Ukraine, Canadian Defense Minister Bill Blair announced on Monday. Kiev has relied heavily on commercial and military UAVs during its conflict with Russia, which will enter its third year on February 24.
“These drones are going to help Ukraine’s front line troops assess targets and threats quickly with accuracy and effectiveness,” Blair stated at a press conference in Toronto.
The R70s can be used for reconnaissance missions and are capable of carrying payloads of up to 3.5 kilograms.
The UAVs are a part of the $370 million aid package pledged to Kiev by the Canadian government in June 2023. Overall, Ottawa has provided $1.78 billion worth of assistance since February 2022, including tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery.
On February 6, Ukraine created a separate military branch – the Unmanned Systems Forces – tasked with operating ground, aerial and seaborne drones.
Ukraine’s former commander-in-chief, General Valery Zaluzhny, wrote an op-ed for CNN this month, where he highlighted the crucial role of UAVs. Drones “provide the best way for Ukraine to avoid being drawn into a positional war, where we do not possess the advantage,” the general stressed.
Moscow has repeatedly stated that foreign military aid will lead to further escalation but will ultimately not change the course of the conflict.
Last week, Russia captured Avdeevka, a fortified town near Donetsk that was held by Ukraine since 2014. The seizure of the town was Moscow’s most significant victory since December 2023, when Russian troops captured another Donbass stronghold – Maryinka – after months of fierce fighting.

EU Now Codifying MIGRATION QUOTAS to Flood Europe With Illegals
A new set of regulations and policies on the European Union’s “sustainable migration and asylum process” called “New Pact on Migration and Asylum” has just been approved by the European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) – opening up the continent to up to 75 million new migrants.
However, a lot of European conservatives are unhappy with the Parliament’s decision because of some key provisions that have been proven ineffective. In fact, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has warned against the said set of policies, saying it will force countries like Hungary to accept migrants or face a severe financial penalty.
“The next question is how many they will force on us. Now they are deciding that. So, they are creating rules that give Brussels the right to say how many migrants they will distribute,” Orban said last year. “So, several countries have indicated that they do not agree. We do not want to implement it. In the end, we are facing a very unpleasant turn of events here.”
National Rally’s parliamentary wing leader Marine Le Pen even said that the pact is an organized plan of submersion of Europe and the nations that compose it. “It is a real pact with the devil that will lead to the suicide of Europe,” she declared during a press conference at her party’s headquarters in Nanterre in 2020. She was the first to predict that a pact such as this would bring millions of illegals into Europe. (Related: Be careful what you wish for: European commissioner wants EU to welcome ONE MILLION MIGRANTS each year to offset declining workforce.)
The new regulations indicated that member states can choose between accepting asylum seekers or paying a financial penalty that costs up to €25,000 ($26,927.50) per migrant. Orban said that Western European nations should be scrambling to accept more migrants, not distribute them to countries like Hungary. And yet, the bloc claims that member states that do not accept migrants will be penalized to help subsidize the cost of these migrants.
Robert Gonczi, an analyst at Hungary’s Migration Research Institute, told Magyar Nemzet that what the EU is doing is restructuring or even abolishing the Dublin system. They are establishing a new solidarity system, the exact limits of which have not yet been defined, he said. “This would look something like each state determining for itself how it could contribute to the management of migration at the EU level. However, there is a worrying element to this, as it would presumably include the distribution of migrants within the EU’s borders,” the analyst pointed out.
Gonczi added that the so-called quota migrant system has been in the European political discourse since 2015, but it does not seem to be the most effective solution and cited a case study by the Migration Research Institute as an example, wherein three Baltic states had previously accepted quota migrants, but that 90 percent of them disappeared from the three countries within a year and later turned up in Sweden, Germany and other Western European states.
“The redistribution system could also create intra-EU flows from the countries where these migrants have been relocated to the countries where they want to leave, as typically the destination countries have not changed,” he stressed. However, it would now be necessary for other EU countries to welcome these migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, he added. The real problem is that the reinforcement of the EU’s external borders would be less or not at all, which is what is needed.
EU migration pact pushed through despite opposition
Critics have been questioning why the said pact has pushed through despite various opposing views. According to reports more than 50 civil society organizations wrote a letter to negotiators in the European Commission, the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament ahead of the final negotiations on the EU Pact on Migration on the eleventh hour back in December to warn against risks. But everything fell on deaf ears.
“If adopted in its current format, it will normalize the arbitrary use of immigration detention, including for children and families, increase racial profiling, use ‘crisis’ procedures to enable pushbacks, and return individuals to so-called ‘safe third countries’ where they are at risk of violence, torture and arbitrary imprisonment,” they argued, adding that the pact will betray the spirit of existing EU work, such as the EU Action Plan on Integration and the EU Action Plan Against Racism which recognizes the intersectional impacts of racism and the specific vulnerability of migrants and refugees. “The Pact, as it stands, risks perpetuating discriminatory practices within the very structures meant to uphold justice and protection for all,” the letter added.
Still, it was railroaded through. Final negotiations were concluded in the absence of Shadow Rapporteurs and those that did not hold rapporteurship on any of its files, such as the Greens and the Left, were left out altogether.
According to a report on Euractiv, in 2021, the Legal Service of the Council of the EU issued an opinion stating that the pact was legally impossible due to its inclusion of Schengen elements alongside non-Schengen ones. But this was ignored until the last minute when it became clear that the whole set of rules could be thrown out by the courts. “This trend of acting first and asking questions later goes beyond the pact. The recent Instrumentalisation Regulation on migration, which proposed significant infringements on rights in hazily-defined cases of foreign states exploiting migration, was rejected in the Council after a damning Substitute Impact Assessment,” the report included.

Drug-Use, Robberies, & Public Sex: Cali Public Library Forced To Close Due To Rampant Illegal Activity
In case you’re wondering whether or not libraries still have use in the age of the internet, they do. And we have Gavin Newsom’s state to thank in helping the nation get reacquainted with their new purpose.
That use appears to now be a designated place for drug use, robberies and public sex. At least, that was the case at the Contra Costa County Library’s Antioch Branch in California, according to a new NY Post article.
The city of Antioch is about 45 miles northeast of Oakland and is home to about 115,000 people.
That library has been forced to close its doors as a result of the illicit and illegal activity.
In a statement, the library commented: “During the closure, the Library will be working to implement further security measures so we can reopen as soon as possible.”
One representative for the Contra Costa County Library System said: “We’ve also had drug activity and drug use both inside the library and on library property.”
“People having sexual intercourse inside the library or on property in full view of patrons and staff. We found bullet casings on library property,” she continued.
One Antioch resident told the Post: “No one in the City of Antioch, including the police chief, was informed of safety concerns by Contra Costa County regarding the library.”
“We apologize for the short notice and the inconvenience but the safety of our patrons and staff is a top priority,” the branch said in a statement.
It was ultimately the county’s decision to close the library, the report concluded.
When it reopens, the library will have a 2nd security officer, repaired fencing and upgraded security cameras.
