“Soros and his cronies hit a brick wall in El Salvador.”

El Salvador’s president Nayib Bukele blasted George Soros, globalism, and the American financial system.

In a fiery address at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Bukele – who won re-election by a staggering 84% of the vote, said of Globalism: “It’s already dead,” adding that in America “dark forces are taking over your country.”

He said that the reason El Salvador ended up becoming the “murder capital of the world” was that the people were not equipped to understand just how radically their society was changing because it happened over a period of decades, one increment at a time.

Bukele likened this to boiling a frog, saying that if you keep turning up the heat and slowly boil the frog, it won’t realize what is happening until it is too late. The Latin American president urged Americans not to despair, however, as “you can still jump before the water boils.” –Lifesite

Bukele later explained that in El Salvador, a 12-year-long communist-inspired civil war broke out, and that he can “clear see the signs of a declining” country when he looks at America.

“They were setting the gang members free,” he said of his home country, adding that in order to clean up El Salvador he had to remove “corrupt judges, corrupt attorneys and corrupt prosecutors.“

He singled out Baltimore, where “crime and drugs have become the daily norm,” and asked the crowd if they could have imagined the fentanyl epidemic 10 year ago.

Shots at Soros

Bukele then too aim at globalist billionaire George Soros, who has funded a nationwide campaign to install soft-on-crime District Attorneys in major US cities.

“Who elected [George] Soros to dictate public policy and laws? Why does he feel entitled to impose his agenda?” he said. “Soros and his cronies hit a brick wall in El Salvador.”

“Thank God and all glory be to Him, El Salvadorians are now immune to his influence,” he continued.

Bukele then exclaimed that his anti-globalist policies have worked to turn El Salvador into the safest country in the Western hemisphere.

Bukele outlined that globalists like Soros don’t just back district attorneys but manipulate public opinion through institutional control of media and political campaigns, and that Americans must “fight” against it with all their “heart and soul.” -Lifesite

“The people of El Salvador have woken up, and so can you,” he said. “The global elites, they hate our success, and they fear yours. The people’s free will to choose their leaders is something they despise because they cannot control it.”

Bukele then warned that the American financial system is more fragile than people think.

“And who buys the Treasury bounds?” Bukele asked. “Mostly the Fed.”

“And how does the Fed buy them?” he asked. By “printing” them.

“So basically, you finance the government by printing money out of thin air,” he continued, asserting that Americans are paying high taxes to “uphold the illusion that you are funding the government.”

“The government is funding [itself] by money printing … paper backed with paper, a bubble that will inevitably burst.”

If that happens, “confidence in your currency would be lost, the dollar would fall and Western civilization with it.“

According to Bukele, it’s not too late for America to right the ship.

Three separate attacks this month involving illegals in Big Sky Country

Illegal aliens have been arrested following multiple unrelated stabbing attacks in Montana in February, according to reports.

At least three people have been seriously injured in separate incidents involving illegal alien suspects in Big Sky Country this month.

On February 4, Flathead County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) deputies were called to the scene of a crime in Kila, approximately 10 miles from Kalispell in Northwest Montana.

They encountered “an undetermined number of people in need of medical care,” including at least one person suffering from stab wounds, the Daily Inter Lake reported earlier this month.

Two suspects fled the scene but were later apprehended by Kalispell Police.

Little information was released about the suspects, but Montana radio host Aaron Flint later confirmed they were both illegally present in the U.S.

“Flathead County’s Sheriff’s Office coordinated efforts with the US Border Patrol and Homeland Security for the deportation process of two individuals. Due to their violent behavior and immigration status, we worked with Federal officials on their removal,” FCSO explained in a statement to Flint.

Flint says a spokeswoman for Flathead County also told him, “yes, the two who were handed over to Homeland Security were illegally in Montana/the US.”

On February 10, two more bloody attacks involving illegal alien suspects unfolded in Bozeman, some 300 miles from Flathead County.

Both incidents unfolded minutes apart at around 1:30 a.m. on that Saturday morning.

“A man walking home from downtown said two Hispanic men jumped out of their vehicle and began attacking him at the corner of Bozeman and Olive. The victim said the men attacked him with ‘knives or hammers’ and eventually stopped to chase another person, allowing the victim to escape,” KBZK reports, citing court documents.

Local police were alerted about another assault at around the same time in the same neighborhood.

A man told officers he was involved in a fight with two Hispanic men at a bar downtown.

The man and his friends were subsequently leaving the bar when the Hispanic men began pursuing them in an SUV.

The suspects ultimately tracked the victim down and slashed him repeatedly in the face, arms, and throat.

Authorities were able to identify the vehicle driven by the suspects, a Nissan Armada with Idaho plates, and located it in Bozeman days later.

Police began surveilling the SUV and arrested one of the suspects when he approached the vehicle from a nearby apartment building.

“More law enforcement resources arrived at the scene to set up a perimeter around the building. A total of 16 additional men were ordered out of the building, detained, and taken to secure locations to be interviewed,” KBZK reports.

Andres Felipe Lara Gonzalez, 25, and Santiago Machado Echeverri, 21, were each charged with two counts of attempted deliberate homicide and two counts of tampering with evidence and each ordered held on $300,000 bail.

Arrest records showed that detainers were filed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement against both suspects.

The Biden administration’s new rules will all but cut out China from the supply chain, however, which will make it tougher to find affordable metal suppliers.

Color us not surprised, but another one of the Biden administration’s “visions” for forcing people to own electric vehicles isn’t working out exactly as planned.

This time it deals with supply chain logistics, with Bloomberg reporting this week that in the year and a half since passing the Inflation Reduction Act, automakers are finding out the hard way that the rigorous criteria for manufacturing batteries using materials from the United States and its free-trade allies could render them cost-inefficient compared to global competitors.

Companies like Tesla are instead taking advantage of a temporary shift in the rules to stock up with cheaper batteries from countries like China.

The Biden administration’s new rules will all but cut out China from the supply chain, however, which will make it tougher to find affordable metal suppliers.

This, in turn, will threaten President Biden’s goal to boost the domestic electric vehicle market. Bloomberg writes that mining companies and labor unions insist that without curtailing the influx of cheaper, Chinese-subsidized materials, the U.S. can’t develop a competitive EV market.

Meanwhile, the higher costs are driving automakers away from EVs. And as battery material requirements are set to double by 2027, fulfilling these mandates will be increasingly difficult, putting Biden’s ambitious EV strategy at risk.

The demand side of the equation also looks less than favorable. We wrote just hours ago about how Ford was slashing prices on its Mach E and Lightning 150. Tesla has been slashing prices to stoke demand for nearly a year now. 

Both Ford and GM have said they’re going to curtail their investment in EVs. General Motors, who posted better than expected earnings earlier this month, said that it plans on changing its product lineup to include more hybrid vehicles, drifting away from pure electric vehicles. 

CEO Mary Barra said on the earnings call: “Let me be clear, GM remains committed to eliminating tailpipe emissions from our light-duty vehicles by 2035, but, in the interim, deploying plug-in technology in strategic segments will deliver some of the environment or environmental benefits of EVs as the nation continues to build this charging infrastructure.”

Recall, a report from Consumer Reports last year found that electric vehicles have almost 80% more problems and are “generally less reliable” than conventional internal combustion engine cars. 

But hey, what good is a “free” market if the government doesn’t have complete and total control of consumer choice, right Joe?

Rep. Matt Gaetz calls for “largest arrest & deportation operation the world has ever seen” in response to horror wreck

An illegal alien wanted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was arrested for killing a man riding a motorcycle in Florida this week, according to reports.

The deadly crash unfolded just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday night in Escambia County.

The victim, a 21-year-old man, was riding northbound on a multi-lane road near Pensacola when a driver in a vehicle traveling in the same direction cut him off, WEAR News reports.

The driver “failed to safely change lanes,” colliding with the motorcyclist and knocking him into the median, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The rider died from injuries suffered in the wreck.

“Byron Pineda, 33, was charged with driving while license suspended or revoked,” North Escambia reports.

“He was booked into Escambia County Jail late Tuesday night where records show he is also wanted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).”

Pineda was ordered held on $250,000 bond.

The tragedy occurred in Florida’s 1st Congressional District, which is represented by Republican Matt Gaetz.

“When President Trump returns to the White House, we must endeavor on the largest arrest & deportation operation the world has ever seen,” Rep. Gaetz wrote on social media.

“Illegal aliens are literally killing our neighbors in every community in America.”

Multiple commenters on local media websites claimed to know the victim and his family and say he recently entered the Navy.

An investigation is ongoing.

Milei is considered a “far right” libertarian, but his extensive economic background has so far made him perfectly placed to begin repairs to Argentina’s long suffering fiscal system.

Not long after socialist activists flooded into Buenos Aires to protest President Javier Milei’s sweeping budget cuts and reforms, it has been announced that Argentina is enjoying its first monthly budget surplus since August 2012.  The budget fix (and $589 million positive balance) took Milei only one month in office to achieve and leaves the political left with some embarrassing questions to answer.

Milei is considered a “far right” libertarian, but his extensive economic background has so far made him perfectly placed to begin repairs to Argentina’s long suffering fiscal system.

A balanced budget is the first step towards removing the country’s economy from under the thumb of the International Monetary Fund and the organization’s $44 billion loan.  Though Argentina has a long way to go to solvency, the socialist policies of previous administrations only served to trap the population in a prison of persistent debt.  This has led to a series of stagflationary crisis events and a greatly devalued peso.  The economy is currently suffering from a 250% inflation rate.

Pro-establishment critics have asserted for months that Milei would “destroy” Argentina’s financial framework, but frankly, that happened long before he entered office.  As we have seen in many western nations the past decade, kicking the can down the road only leads to increasingly more volatile economic consequences.  

Once a country is addicted to socialist subsidies over the course of decades, convincing the populace that the government handouts they have grown to rely on are a form of bondage becomes very difficult.  Milei’s methodology of tearing off the band aid and setting wholesale fire to socialized programs may be the only way to force the public to stop being dependent.  At the very least, it’s the only solution that hasn’t been tried, which is often a good sign that it will work.
