“Where Were They?” Sen. Cotton Blasts Biden and Harris for Arlington Absence
Senator Tom Cotton blasted Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for their absence at Arlington National Cemetery to honour the servicemen and -women killed during the disastrous US withdrawal from Afghanistan, three years ago.
Cotton appeared on MSNBC on Sunday to defend Donald Trump against accusations that he had politicised the ceremony and used his presence there as part of his political campaign, by taking photos with the families.
“These families—Gold Star families—whose children died because of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s incompetence, invited [Trump] to the cemetery, and they asked him to take those photos,” Cotton said.
“You know who those families also invited? Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
“Where were they? Joe Biden was sitting at a beach. Kamala Harris was sitting at her mansion in Washington, DC.”
“She was 4 miles away — 10 minutes,” Cotton said, referring to Harris, whose resident is in the grounds of the US Naval Observatory. “She could’ve gone to the cemetery and honored the sacrifice of those young men and women, but she hasn’t.
“She never has spoken to them or taken a meeting with them,” he continued.
Cotton went on to blame Biden and Harris directly for the deaths of the 13 service members during the withdrawal from Kabal airport.
“It is because of her and Joe Biden’s incompetence that those 13 Americans were killed in Afghanistan.”
Senator Cotton’s remarks came after the Gold Star families issued a blistering series of video statements against Kamala Harris on social media.
In one of those videos, Herman Lopez, father of corporal Hunter Lopez, told the Vice President that she her claim to be a supporter of the US military, and of the families of fallen service members, was totally false.
“You indicated in your post that you support the military and military families,” Mr Lopez said in his video, posted to Twitter.
“I for one have not seen that support. It’s been three years since my son was killed in action, and myself, my family and other Gold Star families have not seen any support from you or your administration.
“You may make all the promises about the economy or anything else you would like to make promises about, but the one thing I ask of you, and the reason I’m making this message, is for you to stop making comments about your support for the military. As a Gold Star father I know that you have not supported us, that you have not supported other Gold Star families.
Mr Lopez added, “Your words are hollow and empty.”
On Saturday, the Vice President issued a statement condemning Donald Trump for filming a video during a visit to Arlington National Cemetery, last Monday.
“As Vice President, I have had the privilege of visiting Arlington National Cemetery several times. It is a solemn place; a place where we come together to honor American heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of this nation,” Harris Tweeted.
“It is not a place for politics.
“And yet, as was reported this week, Donald Trump’s team chose to film a video there, resulting in an altercation with cemetery staff. Let me be clear: the former president disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt.”
Harris went on to describe Trump as a “man who is unable to comprehend anything other than service to himself.”
She added, “it is my belief that someone who cannot meet this simple, sacred duty should never again stand behind the seal of the President of the United States of America.”

Federal Government Placing Alien Children in Trafficking Ring
The federal government delivered alien children to a trafficking ring in Florida, according to a bombshell new investigation by journalists from Muckraker.com.
Muckraker journalists conducted a months-long investigation into the Unaccompanied Children Program run by the Department of Health and Human Services, and discovered that children were being placed by the federal government in the hands of a trafficking ring.
Even worse, Muckraker alleges that when the federal government was made aware of the situation, nothing was done to remedy it or locate the alien children who had been placed with the traffickers.

“We have now obtained first-hand testimonies from children who were delivered to a trafficking ring in Florida,” Muckraker tweeted.
According to insiders, the Department of Health and Human Services has known about this trafficking case for 3 years but did nothing to find the trafficked children.
“According to the children we found, they were encouraged to come to the United States after hearing radio advertisements in Guatemala promoting the journey.
“Upon reaching the United States, the ‘sponsor’ who received them held a debt over their head and has been extorting them for years. This same sponsor is linked directly and indirectly to many more children who have been smuggled into the U.S.”
Muckraker will release a full exposé of the Unaccompanied Children program soon, “including confrontations with the CIA contracting group that delivers the children, and testimonies from trafficked children who have been delivered across America and forgotten.”

Lincoln Project Urges DoJ To Investigate Trump over RFK Endorsement
The never-Trump Lincoln Project sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland on Friday, urging him to investigate the Trump campaign for violating federal laws relating to the 2024 presidential election.
The six-page letter claims that Trump may have breached 18 U.S.C. § 599 and 18 U.S.C. § 600 by offering a cabinet position to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in exchange for his endorsement.
The Lincoln Project claim this would be a clear example of attempting to produce political support through a promise of employment.
“Contemporaneous allegations, unconfirmed but investigable, suggest that at some point Trump offered RFK Jr. a public office in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, up to and including the position of Secretary of HHS, in exchange for RFK Jr.’s endorsement in the 2024 presidential election,” the letter states.
“For example, RFK Jr.’s own family member recently wrote in the Washington Post, ‘my cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., endorsed Donald Trump, reportedly in exchange for a Cabinet-level position overseeing efforts in the health arena.”
The letter states that “by securing RFK Jr’s endorsement, and his pledge to remove his name from the ballot in battleground states, Trump hoped to gain an advantage in the presidential race,” the advantage being thousands of votes in key battleground states.
The letter concludes with a call for Attorney General Garland to announce an investigation now, to ensure the integrity of the election and prevent Trump from squashing any investigation if he wins in November.
“This is a serious matter in which Trump is interfering in and undermining American elections at the highest level. Again. An investigation cannot wait. Should their deal reap its intended consequences, there will be no opportunity to engage in an investigation post-election. Trump will surely quash any suggestion of an investigation, just as he will likely put a stop to the DOJ prosecutions already underway.”
The Lincoln Project was founded in 2019 by Republicans and conservatives who oppose Donald Trump. Its founders included George Conway, husband of Kellyanne Conway, Steve Schmidt, John Weaver and Rick Wilson. Its aim was to prevent Trump’s re-election in 2020. The Project endorsed Joe Biden in 2020 and has now endorsed Kamala Harris.
The Project has faced persistent allegations of serious sexual misconduct, including the grooming of underage boys. Over twenty men accused co-founder John Weaver of online harassment, including a 14-year-old boy. Co-founder Steve Schmidt resigned in February of 2021 in response to the scandal, which the other Project members denied any prior knowledge of, claiming it had left them “absolutely shocked and sickened.”
