Court Ruling Permits Trudeau Government to Evade Accountability for Vaccine Passport Mandates
A constitutional legal group dedicated to freedoms has criticized a Canadian court’s recent decision to drop charges against four individuals who rejected compliance with a COVID border surveillance initiative, arguing it allowed the federal government to dodge accountability for its targeting of individuals who refused to use a vaccine passport.
Chris Fleury, a lawyer with the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF), expressed mixed feelings about the outcome in a press release. “While it is a personal victory for the clients, they are disappointed at losing the chance to challenge the constitutionality of these unscientific and irrational quarantine mandates,” he stated.
Fleury highlighted that this ruling is yet another instance where the government, under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, avoided responsibility for COVID policies that potentially infringe on the rights enshrined in Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
The controversy involves the City of Mississauga dropping charges against four Canadians at Toronto Pearson International Airport who refused to adhere to the requirements of the ArriveCAN app, which was fraught with scandals and cost almost $60 million, far exceeding its original budget. The app, mandatory from November 2020, was used to monitor the vaccination status of individuals entering Canada and to implement necessary quarantines.
Mark Spence, Aaron Grubb, and Evan Kraayenbrink faced charges for their refusal to use the ArriveCAN app and were also directed to quarantine. However, these charges were subsequently dropped as prosecutors deemed pursuing these cases a misuse of public resources and potentially a way to prevent judicial examination of the app’s constitutionality.
The escalated cost of the ArriveCAN app, originally estimated at $80,000 and rocketing to $60 million amid technical and privacy issues, led to public outcry and a formal investigation by Canadian Auditor General Karen Hogan in November 2022 after the House of Commons voted for a full audit.
The Party of Death: Poll Finds 30% of Democrats Wish Trump had Been Killed in the Assassination Attempt
A snap poll has found that nearly a third of Democratic voters wish that former President Donald Trump had been killed in the assassination.
The poll, conducted by UnHerd on July 18, reveals that 30 percent of Democratic voters agree with the statement “I wish Trump’s assassin hadn’t missed” and only 70 percent are relieved that the would-be assassin failed. The poll used a concealed technique called a list experiment to allow respondents to express their true feelings on the matter anonymously.
Survey analyst Ethan Kaufmann, a professor of politics at the University of Buckingham, noted that the findings indicate that support for the assassination attempt does not significantly vary by age, race or education. Instead, the divide is deeply rooted in ideology and partisanship. Notably, respondents’ views on race and political morality were strong indicators of their stance on the assassination attempt.
For instance, 55 percent of Democratic respondents agree with the statement “White Republicans are racist” and only 20 percent of them disagree. This belief strongly correlates with their views on the assassination attempt. In a statistical model controlling for demographic characteristics, ideology and partisanship, the perception of White Republicans as racist emerged as a significant predictor of support for the assassination.
Another poll reveals 33% of Democratic supporters believe Trump staged the assassination
Another survey by Morning Consult reveals that 33 percent of Democratic supporters believe that Trump staged the assassination attempt against himself and 20 percent of all the respondents find the theory “credible.”
Furthermore, 38 percent of respondents blamed Trump for the incident, attributing the surge of violence in American politics to his supposedly divisive political rhetoric. In comparison, 29 percent held President Joe Biden responsible for his own demonization of conservatives. Another 31 percent blamed Republicans and 25 percent pointed fingers at Democrats. This belief highlights the deep-seated suspicions and conspiracy theories that continue to pervade American political discourse.
Even host Joy Reid of MSNBC remains skeptical of the official account of the incident, struggling to accept that Trump narrowly escaped an assassination attempt by a disturbed individual who authorities failed to stop in time. Reid has even suggested that Trump may have been struck by “glass,” despite clear photographic evidence of a bullet whizzing past his head.
“The poll suggests that over one-third of Democratic voters think Trump is Neo from the Matrix, able to dodge a bullet with his head as the bullet travels 3,000 feet per second,” commented Colin Rugg, reflecting on the absurdity of the belief held by a substantial minority of voters.
These findings are particularly ironic given the media’s long-standing portrayal of Trump supporters as prone to concocting “fake news” and indulging in conspiracy theories. This poll underscores that such tendencies are not confined to one side of the political spectrum.
The poll results, including the one conducted by UnHerd, reflect the complex and often contradictory nature of public opinion in today’s polarized political climate, where conspiracy theories and blame-shifting abound.

Russia’s Su-27 Intercepts UK Reconnaissance Aircraft Over Black Sea
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian fighter Su-27 was scrambled as an RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft and two Typhoon fighters of the Royal Air Force approaching the state border over the Black Sea, foreign aircraft made a turn, and no breach of the state border was allowed, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
“On July 24, Russian means of airspace control over the Black Seadetected air targets approaching the state border of the Russian Federation. In order to prevent any breach of the Russian state border, a Su-27 fighter from the air defense forces on duty was scrambled,” the statement says.
The crew of the Russian fighter identified the air targets as an RC-135 strategic reconnaissance aircraft and two Typhoon fighters of the Royal Air Force.
“As the Russian fighter approached, foreign military aircraft made a turn from the Russian state border. The Russian aircraft returned safely to its home airfield. There was no breach of the state border of the Russian Federation,” the ministry said.
The flight of the Russian fighter was carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace over neutral waters, without crossing air routes or dangerously approaching aircraft of a foreign state, it added.
Hackers Stole ‘Nearly All’ Records of Customer Calls, Texts from AT&T
An enormous amount of customer data has been stolen from telecommunication company AT&T for the second time this year.
AT&T disclosed in a regulatory filing on Friday, July 12, that the most recent batch of customer data includes “records of customer call and text interactions” that happened “between approximately May 1 and October 31, 2022, as well as on January 2, 2023.”
(Related: AT&T’s MASSIVE data breach affects 73 MILLION previous and current customers.)
The telecom company stated the data does not include “content of calls or texts, personal information such as Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or other personally identifiable information,” but stressed the data does include “periods of time, records of calls and texts of nearly all of AT&T’s wireless customers and customers of mobile virtual network operators (“MVNO”) using AT&T’s wireless network.”
The filing commented that hackers “unlawfully accessed an AT&T workspace on a third-party cloud platform … between April 14 and April 25, 2024.”
Hackers accessed third-party cloud platform Snowflake to steal data
As reported by Bloomberg, the third-party cloud platform that the hackers accessed to steal the data is Snowflake.
In markets, AT&T shares dropped three percent, while Snowflake shares fell five percent. AT&T believes the data has not yet been leaked on the dark web.
Bloomberg mentioned that although much remains unknown about the breach, it could be disastrous for some customers if the data is eventually released. That involves anyone who doesn’t want others to know who they are contacting like politicians, executives, activists, journalists and their sources.
A ZeroHedge report on March 31 revealed that the personal data of 73 million AT&T accounts were leaked onto the dark web. A lot of the data seemed to be from 2019 or earlier.
AT&T said it has taken “additional cybersecurity measures” in reaction to this incident along with shutting off the point of unlawful access. The company confirmed that it will give notice to its current and former customers that were affected.
“AT&T is working with law enforcement in its efforts to arrest those involved in the incident. Based on information available to AT&T, it understands that at least one person has been apprehended. As of the date of this filing, AT&T does not believe that the data is publicly available,” the telecom corporation said. “The incident was limited to an AT&T workspace on Snowflake’s cloud platform and did not impact AT&T’s network.”
The Department of Justice (DOJ) permitted AT&T two national security exemptions and permitted the corporation not to report the cyber breach publicly until Friday.
For some critical infrastructure corporations, the United States government orders that at least 72 hours after a cyber breach, companies must report the nature of the attack to the government.
“Consistent with the Department’s public guidance, AT&T notified the FBI [Federal Bureau of Investigation] upon learning of the incident, but prior to AT&T having made its materiality determination. AT&T’s cooperation with the Department in this matter, including its timely advance notification to the FBI, benefited the Department’s ongoing efforts to investigate the incident,” the DOJ said in a statement.
AT&T stated the incident has not had a “material impact on AT&T’s operations,” and AT&T does not consider that the incident is “reasonably likely to materially impact AT&T’s financial condition or results of operations.”
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) said in a statement they are aware of the incident and are cooperating with AT&T and other government agencies to evaluate the effect of the breach. CISA is the cybersecurity arm of the Department of Homeland Security.
“As always, CISA urges all organizations to enforce stringent security measures, including multifactor authentication. We will continue to monitor and provide guidance or assistance, as needed,” the statement added.
John Scott-Railton, a senior researcher at the University of Toronto‘s Citizen Lab, which concentrates on communications technology and security, called the hack a “megabreach,” stressing that metadata stolen at this scale can be a primary national security threat not to mention a problem for businesses and individuals.
“These are incredibly sensitive pieces of personal information and, when taken together at the scale of information that appears to be included in this AT&T breach, they present a massive NSA-like window into Americans’ activity,” Scott-Railton said, pointing to the leaks by Edward Snowden that exposed the National Security Agency‘s bulk collection of metadata.
Thomas Rid, a professor of strategic studies and the director of the Alperovitch Institute for Cybersecurity Studies at Johns Hopkins University, warned that more needs to be discovered about what the hackers took from AT&T to get a complete picture of the threat.

Agent Who Ran Biden’s Inauguration Wargame Says Trump Assassination A False Flag Event
Government insider calls into The Alex Jones Show to claim, based on his knowledge of security protocols at major events, that the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump was an inside job and not the act of a lone gunman.

Flashback: Biden Praised Kamala as His DEI Hire
While liberals and the Democrat elite blasted conservatives for labeling Kamala Harris a DEI hire, receipts show Biden originally coined the title.
The fallout happened after Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) used the label for Harris in an X post Monday, writing, “The incompetency level is at an all-time high in Washington. The media propped up this president, lied to the American people for three years, and then dumped him for our DEI vice president.”
In a follow-up, Rep. Burchett later told a CNN reporter it was discriminatory for Biden to only consider black women for the VP role and that he “100%” believed Harris was a DEI hire.
He ain’t lying..

The criticism rankled members of the leftist mainstream media which claimed it was deeply offensive to claim Harris was hired solely based on being a woman of color, with former White House adviser Susan Rice calling it “incredibly insulting.”
However, conservatives had to look no further than Joe Biden to find examples of he himself lauding the fact Harris was a brimming example of “diversity, equity and inclusion” principles.

“To me, the values of diversity, equality, inclusion are literally — and this is not kidding — the core strengths of America,” Biden said at a campaign rally in Philadelphia, Penn., just two months ago. “That’s why I’m proud to have the most diverse administration in history that taps into the full talents of our country. And it starts at the top with the Vice President.”
Biden’s comments were also located in a White House transcript of the event.

Democrats’ feigned outrage over the DEI title comes as the media is tripping over itself to rewrite history as Harris has apparently become the party’s presumptive nominee.
On Wednesday, Axios claimed conservatives had falsely labeled Harris as Biden’s “border czar” — despite the fact they themselves reported three years ago that Biden appointed her as his “border czar.”
Political ranking service GovTrack also quietly deleted its scorecard ranking Harris as the most left-leaning senator of 2019.

Meanwhile, former President Barack Obama has not yet endorsed Harris.
