FBI ‘Increasingly Concerned’ About Moscow-Style Attack in U.S.
FBI Director Christopher Wray has warned that terrorist groups could be planning a “coordinated attack” on the US, similar to the Crocus City Hall massacre near Moscow last month.
Speaking at a budget hearing on Capitol Hill on Thursday, Wray told lawmakers that Hamas’ October 7 assault on Israel inspired “a rogue’s gallery of foreign terrorist organizations” to call for attacks on the US and its allies. In addition to this supposed threat, Wray added that “the potential for a coordinated attack here in the homeland, akin to the ISIS-K attack we saw at the Russian concert hall a couple weeks ago” is ‘increasingly concerning.”
The Crocus City Hall massacre involved four gunmen who stormed the venue ahead of a concert late last month. They made their way to the main auditorium, shooting indiscriminately, and set the building on fire. Over 140 people were killed.
The suspects, all Tajik nationals, were arrested on the night of the attack near the Ukrainian border. They later told interrogators that they took instructions from a handler who had prepared an escape route to Ukraine and promised them money upon arrival in Kiev.
Wray and other American officials have blamed the incident solely on ISIS-K, the Afghanistan-based offshoot of the international terrorist organization Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS). While ISIS-K has claimed responsibility, the Russian Investigative Committee claims to have found evidence that the suspects conspired with members of the Ukrainian security services and received “significant sums of money” from Ukraine before the attack.
Earlier this week, the Investigative Committee announced that Burisma Holdings – a Ukrainian energy firm linked to the family of US President Joe Biden – had handled money “used in recent years to carry out terrorist attacks in Russia.”
Wray did not elaborate on whether his agents had uncovered any concrete plans by terrorist groups to attack the US. However, he did use the hearing to urge lawmakers to reauthorize Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), which grants the US permission to monitor internet and phone communications from abroad made through American networks like Google.
“It’s critical in securing our nation, and we’re in crunch time,” Wray said, claiming that he would “be hard pressed to think of a time where so many threats to our public safety and national security were so elevated all at once.”
At the behest of former President Donald Trump, a group of conservative Republicans blocked a vote on reauthorizing the controversial provision on Wednesday. Although intended to surveil foreigners, Section 702 can be used by US intelligence agencies to access the communications of Americans without a court warrant, and the pro-Trump Republicans have demanded that a renewed Section 702 come with stronger safeguards against abuse.

A suspected illegal alien from Venezuela was arrested after trying to rob a bank using a translator in Sandusky, Ohio, earlier this month.
“We have no way to tell if he is here legally or not,” said Sandusky Police Chief Jared Oliver. “But he has no proof of identification.”
“It has been brought to my attention customs and border control put a hold on him,” Oliver said.

Police were able to arrest 20-year-old Yeixon Brito-Gonzalez when he left the bank after he tried using the translator to demand money from the tellers.

The I-Team obtained bank security video that police says shows the suspect holding up his phone to the tellers. Police say the suspect did not speak English and was using a translator app to tell tellers “get the money” and “put the money in the bag.”
When the tellers did not give him any money, he left.
“I have been in law enforcement for over 20 years and this is the first time I encountered something like this, someone using a translator app to try and rob a bank,” Oliver said. “First time our officers have dealt with it too. “
Sandusky officers found him a short time later, and an officer who spoke Spanish read him his rights and talked to him.
According to a police report, the officer said the suspect told him he recently lost his job and needed money.
The suspect faces charges of attempted robbery, attempted theft and criminal trespassing.
SSA Apparently Stops Releasing Voter Registration Totals after Viral Tweet
A viral tweet raising worrying questions about the numbers of people registering to vote in key states without photo ID, appears to have prompted the Social Security Administration to stop publicly releasing its weekly totals. These totals have been available on the internet since January 2011.
Popular Twitter user “End Wokeness,” who was responsible for the original viral tweet, noticed that the totals had disappeared yesterday.
“Whoa!” Tweeted Elon Musk.
“But don’t worry, I’m sure the fact-checkers will say this is all routine and normal,” responded End Wokeness.
The implication of the original Tweet was that these registrations might be a prelude to potentially election-changing levels of voter fraud come November. If the SSA has now decided to prevent the public from seeing registration totals, suspicions will not be allayed.

The original viral tweet focused on the number of voters registering to vote without photo ID in three key swing states: Arizona, Texas and Pennsylvania.
End Wokeness noted that since the start of 2024, there had apparently been 220,731 registrations in Arizona, 1,250,710 in Texas and 580,513 in Pennsylvania.
At time of writing, the tweet has 64 million views, and was picked up on Instagram by Marjorie Taylor Greene, and on Truth Social by Donald Trump.
“Who are all those voters registering without a Photo ID in Texas, Pennsylvania, and Arizona??? What is going on???” posted the 45th President of the United States.
The popularity of the original tweet sent fact-checkers into a frenzy.
The Associated Press ran a piece about the danger of anonymous users who are “dominating right-wing discussions online.”
“The accounts enjoy a massive reach that is boosted by engagement algorithms, by social media companies greatly reducing or eliminating efforts to remove phony or harmful material, and by endorsements from high-profile figures such as Musk,” said the Press.
“They also can generate substantial financial rewards from X and other platforms by ginning up outrage against Democrats.”
The post recommended that users “shouldn’t be allowed to spread lies without accountability,” but neglected to state exactly what that might mean.

Shock Video: Cops Surrounded by Howling Mob While Arresting Violent Illegals at New York ‘Migrant Hotel’
Officers called to a ‘migrant hotel’ in New York were surrounded by an aggressive mob of illegal aliens who tried to prevent the arrest of a violent man there, according to reports.
The shocking incident unfolded on Tuesday afternoon in Yonkers, a suburb of New York City.
Employees at a Ramada Inn currently being used to house illegal aliens called the Yonkers Police Department (YPD) regarding an out-of-control ‘guest’ wreaking havoc in the lobby.
“The guy is over here unruly,” a hotel staffer said during a 911 call reviewed by the New York Post.
“He’s being very violent with everybody. He’s throwing stuff at everybody. We need somebody here right away.”
Cops arrived and were immediately confronted by howling crowd.
Footage of the melee was released by YPD and has been circulating on social media.

Officers can be seen walking into the building and arresting a man identified as 35-year-old Arnal Kent, an illegal alien of unspecified nationality.
“Why does he have to hit me?” Kent can be heard yelling in Spanish as he battles against cops. “They’re not taking me. They’re not taking me. I’m not doing anything.”
As they attempt to load Kent into a YPD patrol vehicle, a woman blocks the door and pushes officers, video shows.
Police eventually force Kent into their SUV and then attempt to apprehend the woman who obstructed them, identified as 24-year-old Yainilet Hernandez, another illegal alien of unspecified origin.
After a struggle, they finally manage to handcuff Hernandez and haul her off.
Kent was charged with menacing, disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental administration — and then released without bail, according to the Post.
Hernandez was held on $500 bail at Westchester County Jail on charges of second-degree assault, obstruction of governmental administration, and resisting arrest.
The Ramada Inn in Yonkers has reportedly been hosting illegal aliens since May of 2023 under contract with New York City.

“Absolutely!” A Chinese illegal alien responded when asked if there are Chinese spies in America today. Record numbers of Chinese are now being apprehended at the southern border every day.
In an interview conducted this week in Necoclí, Colombia by reporters from Muckraker.com, the Chinese migrant, who was on his way to the US through Latin America, said that the Chinese government was interested in stealing commercial and military secrets from the US.
When asked how he knew this, the man said that he simply follows the news. The Chinese government, he claims, makes perfectly clear its intention to steal high technology, especially chips used in missile-guidance systems.
He noted that most of the Chinese government’s technological advances come through theft from the US.
As well as discussing the theft of valuable technology, the man also spoke about the Chinese government’s attitude towards America more generally, including its attitude towards American culture and the American people.
“They really just mock America. They mock everything.”
He went on: “They teach Chinese people to hate America, you know? Then those high-ranking officials of the Chinese Communist Party send their wives and children to study in America, retire here, play here, live in high-end villas, you know? They even transfer their money to America. Then in China they instruct the people to hate America…. Everything bad is attributed to America.

Apprehensions at the border are growing, with over 1,000 Chinese nationals being met by Border Patrol in a single day on Tuesday April 9. 800 of them were single males.
According to Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin, “Our CBP & ICE contacts tell us a large majority of the Chinese are released into the US and are not deported or removed, as China has generally been uncooperative with accepting deportation flights.
“Mayorkas said today there has been one removal flight to China recently, and conversations with the Chinese government are ongoing in an effort to try to get them to accept more.”

Border Patrol Processing Centers in San Diego at Double Capacity
The US Border Patrol’s processing centers in the city of San Diego have more than twice as many migrants as they are normally meant to hold, the New York Post has reported, citing data it obtained.
The agency’s processing centers in San Diego have reached 245% capacity, the newspaper reported on Friday.
There are over 1,800 detainees in the centers which are meant to hold only 750 people, according to the report.
As the influx increases, more and more migrants are being released onto the streets of San Diego, the newspaper reported.
Over 125,000 people have been allowed to leave processing centers since September 2023, according to the report.
Close to 8 million migrants have illegally entered the United States via the southern border since Joe Biden became president in 2021.
