Chaotic scene as suspect being sentenced for violent crimes lunges at judge, leaping over bench to repeatedly strike her.

A three-time felon violently attacked a female district court judge during a sentencing hearing, shocking video out of Clark County, Nevada, shows.

The incident unfolded Wednesday during the sentencing of 30-year-old Deobra Redden, as Clark County District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus informed him she would not be granting his request for probation.

“I think it’s time he get a taste of something else,” Holthus says, adding, “Because I just can’t with that history.”

At this point, Redden is heard saying, “Nah, fuck that bitch,” before he lunges at Judge Holthus leaping over the bench to repeatedly strike her as a bailiff and others try to intervene.

The harrowing incident lasted several minutes, throughout which various members of the court were heard frantically yelling and asking if the judge was OK, after which an emergency alarm was triggered.

“Holthus was eventually able to stand after a few minutes, and officers escorted her out of the courtroom before ordering all other defendants out,” reports KSNV.

During the altercation, Judge Holthus sustained a minor head injury and a marshal was also injured.

Before the assault, prosecutors were pleading for Judge Holthus to send Redden to prison due to a history of violent crimes, with KSNV noting, “Past charges include home invasion, domestic violence and battery on a protected person.”

Redden was also charged with “[threatening] to bust the kneecaps” of another man in April, “resulting in substantial bodily harm,” reports 8NewsNow.

Prior to the assault, Redden reportedly told the judge, “I feel like I shouldn’t be sent to prison, but if it’s appropriate for you, then you gotta do what you gotta do.”

A statement from the court commended those who came to Judge Holthus’ aid:

“We commend the heroic acts of her staff, law enforcement, and all others who subdued the defendant. The court remains committed to a safe and secure courthouse and courtrooms. We are reviewing all our protocols and will do whatever is necessary to protect the judiciary, the public, and our employees.”

Establishment media tries to re-write history

In a bizarre article claiming American conservatives are weaponizing plagiarism against colleges, The Associated Press also randomly re-wrote history by falsely claiming white colonists took up the practice of scalping Native Americans.

First, the Community Notes feature of ? pointed out Harvard President Claudine Gay was ousted from her position because she DID commit plagiarism and that doing so violated the university’s rules.

After the entire premise of the article was essentially exposed as fraudulent by Community Notes, many social media users also pointed out the strange remark about scalping.

Discussing conservative activist Christopher Rufo celebrated the ousting of Gay online by writing “scalped,” which is commonly used to express a victory over a political opponent, AP claimed he invoked violence.

The outlet then alleged scalping was “a gruesome practice taken up by white colonists who sought to eradicate Native Americans,” before later adding that “some tribes” also scalped their enemies.

AP wrote, “Christopher Rufo, a conservative activist who helped orchestrate the effort against Gay, celebrated her departure as a win in his campaign against elite institutions of higher education. On X, formerly Twitter, he wrote ‘SCALPED,’ as if Gay was a trophy of violence, invoking a gruesome practice taken up by white colonists who sought to eradicate Native Americans and also used by some tribes against their enemies.”

The outlet originally posted the article without adding the part about “some tribes using” scalping against their enemies, likely altering the sentence after backlash.

Rufo responded on ?, writing, “Associated Progressives (AP) is trying to run the false narrative that ‘white colonists’ invented scalping ‘to eradicate Native Americans,’ without noting that, in fact, the Indians originated the practice in North America and, in modern times, it is a common journalistic phrase.”

Rufo is correct as white European “colonists” never scalped their opponents in battle before settling in America, yet multiple accounts recorded Native Americans engaging in the practice soon after the Europeans arrived.

After apparently learning the gruesome technique from Native American tribes that practiced it, early white Americans used scalp bounties as an incentive for people to kill the ‘Indians’ they were constantly fighting as the country’s population moved West.

As The Dispatch Editor-in-Chief Jonah Goldberg accurately pointed out, “It’s almost like the @AP buried the lede. ‘Taken up by white colonists’ is a polite way of saying the settlers culturally appropriated the indigenous custom.”

The mainstream media is again trying to alter history in a way that portrays white people as the world’s greatest evil.

60 Republicans led by House Speaker Mike Johnson witness numerous illegal crossings firsthand.

A congressional delegation touring the collapsed southern border witnessed a horde of illegals attempting to traverse razor wire installed by the State of Texas to deter illegal crossings.

On Wednesday, illegal aliens crossed the Rio Grande River in Eagle Pass, Texas, in full view of a group of 60 Republicans led by House Speaker Mike Johnson as the GOP attempts to make securing the border one of its top priorities.

Upon crossing the Rio Grande, Customs and Border Protection agents incredibly helped illegals unlawfully enter the country by cutting razor wire, which Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) said constituted a violation of a court order.

“Importantly, if this video was taken today, it means that the Biden Admin. is in direct violation of a current court order by the 5th circuit court of appeals prohibiting the border patrol from cutting the razor wire erected by Texas,” Gov. Abbott wrote on social media.

“If true, we will seek contempt of court.”

According to reports, the Biden administration indeed sought for the CBP to remove Texas’ razor wire, filing a petition with the US Supreme Court on Tuesday asking them to vacate an injunction from the State of Texas barring agents from removing the barrier.

Footage from the Arizona border also shows US soldiers helping illegal immigrants from Ecuador unlawfully cross into the country.

Gov. Abbott responded Wednesday to recent comments from DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas claiming illegal crossings are at an all-time high due to “climate change.”

“Climate change? Mayorkas is pathetic,” Abbott responded. “The REAL reason illegal immigration records are being set is because Biden refuses to enforce immigration laws. We will send more buses and planes. We will continue building the razor wire walls that Biden wants to tear down.”

Things are heating up on the illegal immigration front as both state and federal governments battle over control of the border, with the former attempting to defend national sovereignty while the latter blatantly undermines it.
