Rumble CEO Leaves Europe after Telegram CEO Arrest
Rumble’s CEO, Chris Pavlovski, announced on Sunday that he has left Europe following the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov.
In a post on Twitter, Pavlovski said that France had “crossed a red line” with the arrest.
“I’m a little late to this, but for good reason — I’ve just safely departed from Europe,” Pavlovski Tweeted.
“France has threatened Rumble, and now they have crossed a red line by arresting Telegram’s CEO, Pavel Durov, reportedly for not censoring speech.
“Rumble will not stand for this behavior and will use every legal means available to fight for freedom of expression, a universal human right. We are currently fighting in the courts of France, and we hope for Pavel Durov’s immediate release.”
Pavlovski used a subsequent Tweet to highlight the censorship of Rumble around the world.

Pavel Durov was arrested in Paris on Saturday, on charges related to the spread of illicit material via Telegram. He was arrested after arriving at Le Bourget Airport on a private plane from Azerbaijan.
In a statement on Telegram on Sunday, the company said, “Telegram abides by EU laws,” adding, “Telegram’s CEO Pavel Durov has nothing to hide.”
Analyst Mike Benz believes the US State Department is ultimately behind the arrest, because it wants to control Telegram.
“What they [the State Department] want to do is not kill Telegram like they wanted to kill Wikileaks,” Benz said in a video posted to Twitter.
“They want to control it. And the problem was, they didn’t have the ability to put sufficient pressure on Pavel to break his will. So he was living in Dubai. Now they have leverage. I believe that’s the purpose of this prosecution: not to establish a legal precedent that for every encrypted chat app its founder is personally responsible for all illegal conversations or transactions on the platform, but rather to force Telegram to become WhatsApp.”
Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev has said that Durov “miscalculated” by thinking he could be a “brilliant ‘man of the world’ who lives wonderfully without a motherland.”
“For all our common enemies now, he is Russian—and therefore unpredictable and dangerous.”
“Durov should finally realise that one cannot choose one’s fatherland,” Medvedev added.
Secret Service Removes RFK Jr.’s Protection
The Secret Service has removed RFK Jr.’s protection detail after he dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Donald Trump.
The New York Post reported on Sunday that Kennedy’s protection had been removed, and cited a direct confirmation from Secret Service.
Joe Biden had instructed the Secret Service to provide him with a personal detail following the attempt on Donald Trump’s life in July.
Prior to Biden’s announcement, Kennedy had lobbied for Secret Service protection for months, but claimed he was being denied it for political reasons. Kennedy’s legal team cited 34 separate instances of threats against him. Kennedy’s father and uncle—Robert Kennedy and President John F. Kennedy—were both assassinated.
Although he has dropped out of the race to endorse Trump, RFK Jr.’s name remains on the ballot in at least ten states. Kennedy has announced that he will actively campaign with Trump in the coming weeks.
The Post notes that it is “standard procedure” for Secret Service details to be “scale[d] back” when a candidate drops out, but not to be eliminated totally.
The Secret Service has faced tremendous scrutiny since the events of 13 July in Butler, Pennsylvania, when a gunman came within millimetres of killing former president Donald Trump.
Kimberley Cheatle, the Secret Service director, has since resigned, and five officials have been placed on administrative duty because of the agency’s failings.
Multiple investigations into the events of 13 July are now taking place, including a bipartisan task force in the House and FBI and DHS probes.
RFK Jr. Responds with Grace to Family Statement Condemning Trump Support
RFK Jr. responded with grace to a harsh statement put out by members of his family condemning his support of Donald Trump.
Kennedy was appearing on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream when he was asked about the statement, which was signed by five members of his family.
“You know, my family is at the center of the Democratic Party. I have members of my family that are working for the Biden administration. President Biden has a bust of my father behind him at the Oval Office, and he’s been a family friend for many years,” Kennedy told Bream.
“My family is—I understand that they’re troubled by my decisions. I love my family. I feel like we were raised in a milieu where we were encouraged to debate each other and debate ferociously and passionately about things and still love each other.
“They’re free to take their positions on these issues. There are many, many members of my family working at my campaign and who are supporting me.”
He added, “I think we all need to be able to disagree with each other and still love each other.”

It read: “We want an America filled with hope and bound together by a shared vision of a brighter future, a future defined by individual freedom, economic promise and national pride. We believe in Harris and Walz. Our brother Bobby’s decision to endorse Trump today is a betrayal of the values that our father and our family hold most dear. It is a sad ending to a sad story.”
RFK Jr.’s endorsement of Trump has electrified the presidential race, with pundits of the left and right predicting that it could decisively swing the election in Donald Trump’s favour.
In his announcement on Friday, before he joined Trump on stage at a rally in Arizona, Kennedy said that he would work with the Trump administration to “make America healthy again.” He described watching a generation of children grow up “damaged” as a result of poor diet and environmental pollution, and said that four more years of Democratic rule will “complete the consolidation of corporate and neocon power, and our children will be the ones that suffer most.”
“For 19 years I prayed, every morning, that God would put me in a position to end this calamity. The chronic-disease crisis was one of my primary reasons for running for president, along with ending the censorship and the Ukraine war.”
Now Kennedy is in a position to do that, and Trump has confirmed that he will head a task-force to investigate, and hopefully solve, America’s unprecedented health crisis.
“Nobody’s done more” than RFK Jr. to “advocate for the health of our families and children,” Trump said.
“Millions and millions of Americans who want clean air, clean water, and a healthy nation have concerns about toxins in our environment and pesticides in our food. That’s why today I’m repeating my pledge to establish a panel of top experts working with Bobby to investigate what is causing the decades-long increase in chronic health problems and childhood diseases.”
RFK Jr.: “I’m Gonna Be Campaigning Actively” with Trump
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. intends his endorsement of Donald Trump for the presidency to be an active one.
He told Shannon Bream on Fox News on Sunday that he would be “campaigning actively” with Trump, and also told Americans to prepare themselves for a series of high-profile Democrat defections to the Trump campaign.
“President Trump is going to make a series of announcements of other Democrats who are joining his campaign,” Kennedy said.
Kennedy spoke about his motivation for endorsing Trump and the common ground they share.
“I want to make America healthy again, and so does President Trump.”
Kennedy added that Trump told him “he wanted to leave, as his legacy, healthy children.”
RFK Jr. said that, while no formal commitments have been made yet, his role within a second Trump administration would be to focus on reforming federal institutions like the FDA and the CDC, which he claims have been corrupted by corporate money. He also told Bream about his conversations with Trump about ending the Ukraine War and fighting censorship.

Speculation about which Democrats will serve on a Trump “unity government” is now rife on social media.
As well as securing the support of RFK Jr., Trump has enlisted Democrat Tulsi Gabbard to help him prepare for his first debate against Kamala Harris, which is scheduled for early September. Gabbard is widely credited for ending Harris’s presidential hopes in 2019 in a single brutal exchange with the Vice President during one of the debates.
“It Was Their Failure!” Trump Blasts Harris for Her Economic Policies, Asks “Who Is Negotiating in the Middle East?”
Donald Trump took to Twitter on Sunday to blast Kamala Harris for attempting to portray him as the cause of the Biden-Harris administration’s failures. He also had choice words for the administration as the threat of a wider war in the Middle East appeared closer than ever.
“Kamala and her ‘handlers’ are trying to make it sound like I am the Incumbent President, so that they can blame me for the failure of the past four years,” the former president Tweeted.
“No, it was their failure! It is one of the worst Presidencies in History, and she is definitely the Worst Vice President.”

Trump followed with three further Tweets where he highlighted the disastrous effects on the economy and individual freedom if Kamala Harris wins the election, including price controls, tax rises and the abolition of private medical insurance.
“If you think things are expensive now, they will get 100 times WORSE if Kamala gets four years as President. Under her plan, Kamala will implement SOVIET Style Price Controls. She will abolish private health care, and make California’s ridiculous tax policies the law of the land, meaning EVERY American will be taxed up to 80% of their income! If you want more CASH and less TAX, VOTE TRUMP!!!”
The attacks on Harris continued as Trump moved to the topic of the Middle East. As Israel and Hezbollah exchanged missile and airstrikes, threatening an escalation and a wider war in the Middle East, Trump asked “Who is negotiating in the Middle East?”

The Tweets were vintage Trump and delighted his supporters on the platform. Trump has now returned to regular posting duties on Twitter.
