Defiant Trump to Hold Rally at Same Place he was Shot at in Butler, Pennsylvania
(LifeSiteNews) — Less than a week after the Secret Service urged Donald Trump to not hold events outside, the former president announced on TRUTH Social that he will be returning to the same location he was shot at in Pennsylvania.
“I will be going back to Butler, Pennsylvania for a big and beautiful rally, honoring the soul of our beloved firefighting hero, Corey (Comperatore) and those brave patriots injured two weeks ago. What a day it will be — fight, fight, fight!”
According to The Washington Post, the Secret Service suggested that Trump should not hold rallies at outdoor venues and to instead campaign indoors. Some pundits have argued that the agency’s request is a form of election interference intended to suppress enthusiasm for Trump, who, according to the New York Post, drew an estimated crowd of 80,000 at a rally in Wildwood, New Jersey this summer.
Trump’s first campaign stop after accepting the Republican Party’s presidential nomination this month was at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the second largest city in the state. The location has a maximum capacity of around 12,000. Thousands of supporters who waited in line to get in but were turned away mulled about outside while Trump and running mate J.D. Vance gave their speeches to a raucous crowd.
The Secret Service has been roundly criticized for its failure to protect Trump on July 13, the day he was shot at by would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks. Crooks was brought to the attention of law enforcement at the rally by several attendees long before he fired multiple rounds at Trump’s head around 6:11p.m. EST. The agency has blamed everything from miscommunication with local police to claiming the building Crooks shot from was not only outside the perimeter but was too dangerous for agents to be stationed on because it had a “sloped” roof.
Former Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle resigned her post after Congressional lawmakers grilled her days after the shooting. Republicans have blamed the attack on Homeland Security Secretary Alexander Mayorkas for having turned down repeated requests from the Trump team to beef up his security over the past two years.
On July 27, a defiant Trump took to TRUTH Social to declare that he will not be scaling back his campaign events.
“I will continue to do outdoor rallies, and Secret Service has agreed to substantially step up their operation. They are very capable of doing so. No one can ever be allowed to stop or impede free speech or gathering!” he exclaimed.
The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank based in Washington D.C., has found that mobile devices that “regularly visited” Crooks’ home and place of work also visited a location near Secret Service and FBI headquarters in Washington, raising the specter that there was possible Deep State involvement in coaxing Crooks to take action against Trump.

Republican U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin has already told Fox News that “we cannot trust the FBI to do an open and honest investigation” about the assassination attempt.

Aside from the death of Comperatore, two other men were critically injured at the rally, 74-year-old James “Jim” Copenhaver and 57-year-old David “Jake” Dutch. Both men’s families have released statements expressing thanks for the support they have receive as they recover from “life-altering injuries.”

But it is important to note that Musk is, unfortunately, not exaggerating. Children are in fact being removed from the homes of their parents after being sucked into the gender cult – or as Musk calls it, captured by the “woke mind virus.” On July 26, the Daily Mail reported that a military family lost custody of their autistic son after they refused to “transition” him. The family stated that their son had no desire to become a girl until he was hospitalized for a suicide attempt after “a bitter breakup with his girlfriend in 2021.”
It was a fateful hospital visit. Staff at Children’s National Hospital told the boy’s family that he wanted to be a girl and that he now used female pronouns. The army veteran parents, who hailed from Prince George County, Maryland, stated that the boy was very “impressionable” due to his autism and have alleged that the hospital began a “full-on campaign to transgender this child” and the staff of “mental-re-programming,” including their son being “forced to write letters to his friends disavowing his previous male identity.”
Children’s National Hospital used emergency policies to keep the boy in one of their units for 41 days, reported his parents to child protection services, and had him moved into foster care, where he has resided since. The parents, who are African American, are suing the hospital – and had to sell their business and four-bedroom family home to do so. “This has been devastating. It has drained so much money, there is no money left,” the father told the Mail. “It changed our entire way of life, with the loss of a child and then with the loss of our income.” The family is asking for up to $100 million in damages and their legal costs.
The parents believe their son – now 19 – is living with Lavender Kelley, the D.C. hospital’s “non-gendered chaplain” and a transgender activist who has stated that he supports transitioning children without their parents’ consent. According to the Mail:
The suit adds that, since being removed from the care of his parents, the youngster has appeared in provocative and sexually suggestive poses on Instagram. It is unclear whether the 19-year-old has received any sex change treatments like feminizing hormones or gender reassignment surgery.
The lawsuit, filed in Maryland District Court, accuses the Children’s National Hospital of “eight counts including negligence, inflicting intentional emotional distress and discriminating against someone based on their religion.” They are asking for trial by jury.
There are many such cases currently unfolding. As Alliance Defending Freedom International reported earlier this month, a teenage girl has been separated from her parents, who live in Geneva, Switzerland, for over a year for the same reason – they objected to her undergoing a sex change. “The case, currently unfolding in Swiss courts, centres on parents who responded to the mental health struggles of their daughter, who expressed gender confusion, with care and support, including obtaining mental health care for her,” ADF reported.
Concerned that their daughter was being pushed to make hasty and potentially irreversible decisions, they declined ‘puberty blockers’ and explicitly rejected her school’s attempt to ‘socially transition’ her. The school disregarded the parents’ explicit demand.
For seeking to protect the health and wellbeing of their daughter, they now face a legal stand-off over their fundamental rights as parents to care for their child who, residing in a government shelter, is being encouraged to pursue dangerous medical interventions to ‘transition.’ For safety reasons and to protect their children, the parents are speaking anonymously. The father said: ‘The story is truly a nightmare. Swiss authorities have taken our child, our daughter, who’s 16 years old.’
‘My daughter now lives in a government home. Our access to her is regulated by the government.’ The parents added: ‘I can’t believe we live in a society where your child can be taken away from you simply for trying to protect her.’
‘We want our daughter back home. We love her and we miss her,’ the girl’s mother pleaded.
It is stories like this – as well as his own experience – that have caused Elon Musk to make the decision to pull out of California. California is a dangerous place for families.
To have your child removed from your home because you object to their undergoing a sex change – treatments that are banned in countries like the United Kingdom – must be a special kind of hell. To know your child is likely undergoing “treatments” that will irreversibly damage their bodies while being prevented from stopping this harm by the government, which has labeled you a child-abuser, is enough to make a normal person go insane.

Attorney Accuses FBI of Deceptive Practices in Oklahoma City Bombing Records Case
Utah Attorney Jesse Trentadue has accused the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of making misleading statements pertaining to documents from the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.
Trentadue filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) suit against the FBI earlier this year to obtain recordings pertaining to Roger Edwin Moore. Moore was the business associate of bomber Timothy McVeigh who also served as an FBI informant and an asset for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Trentadue also sought records about the neo-Nazi gang of bank robbers involved in the attack, the Aryan Republican Army. He filed the suit after spending nine years waiting for them to process an FOIA request for the records, which was followed by the FBI requesting that a federal judge give them another 12 years to release all of them.
Last month, the FBI told a federal judge that the records the attorney seeks existed on their website. Trentadue said that is simply not true, however. In his court filing, he noted: “That statement is so misleading as to merit sanctions. The BOMBROB records posted by the FBI, for example, consist of just 5,514 pages, not the 36,795 pages of responsive documents that the Bureau claims to possess.” BOMBROB refers to the FBI investigation of the Aryan Republican Army.
Trentadue goes on to note that just 51 of those 5,514 pages have references to McVeigh. Moreover, although the FBI claims that it has located more than 31,000 pages of records on Roger Edwin Moore, their website has just 229 of them, none of which refer to his participation in the FBI operation where Moore served as an informant known as Operation Punchout.
Rate of records release was misleading
Another point of contention for Trentadue was the FBI’s insistence that the attorney agreed to receive the records at a rate of 500 pages per month. This would means that it would take 12 years to get all of them. Although he said that he accepted this arrangement with the understanding that it would be on a rolling basis, the FBI instead intended to gather the records at that rate but send them all together in a single batch at the end of the time period.
The filing asserted: “Plaintiff agreed to receiving the documents in 500-page increments on a CD as they were processed, whereby he would not have to wait until all of the records were processed before receiving them. Plaintiff NEVER agreed to the FBI processing the documents at the rate of only 500-pages per month.”
Trentadue is no stranger to getting the runaround from the FBI and the DOJ. In fact, he filed a different lawsuit that seeks to obtain surveillance footage of the bombing in which a federal judge is looking into claims that the FBI tampered with one of his witnesses.
He touched on this in his response to the FBI, noting: “It can fairly be said that the only difference between the FBI and Russian KGB is that the KGB never claimed to be a legitimate law enforcement agency. It can also be fairly said that in cases such as this involving an overarching specter of government malfeasance, the FBI has been and will be anything but honest and candid with the court.”
Trentadue noted in his filing that with the 30th anniversary of the bombing approaching, public interest in the case is high. He’s requesting that they release the records at a rate of 5,500 pages per month, along with interim releases at the end of each month containing all of the documents processed that month. This would mean he could access all the records in 13 months instead of upwards of 11 years.
Trentadue has been seeking the records for nearly three decades as he investigates his brother’s mysterious death in a federal penitentiary that appears to be related to the bombing.

West Using Energy Supplies to Blackmail Opponents – Moscow
The West is using energy supplies to blackmail countries that oppose its policies, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Tuesday.
She was referring to Brussels’ reluctance to support its member states Hungary and Slovakia in an impasse over disrupted oil flows through Ukraine.
Kiev stopped the transit of crude from major Russian supplier Lukoil via the Druzhba pipeline earlier this month, citing sanctions on the energy major, thus depriving the two countries of oil that meets up to 40% of their needs.
In response to the move, Budapest and Bratislava jointly initiated consultations with the bloc and asked the EU to mediate in the dispute. However, Brussels stalled the request, claiming it needed time to “gather evidence and assess the legal situation.”
The EU’s reluctance to interfere comes as no surprise to Russia, as Hungary and Slovakia are the only EU member states that have opposed the bloc’s policy of providing military aid to Ukraine in its conflict with Moscow.

“The West is using energy resources as an instrument not just of a political battle but of direct pressure and blackmail against countries and nations,” Zakharova told Izvestia.
Landlocked Slovakia and Hungary were granted exemptions from an EU-wide ban on Russian oil supplies in 2022 to ensure their energy security. They are the only EU member states that have opposed the bloc’s policy of providing military aid to Ukraine and have repeatedly called for a diplomatic solution to the crisis.
“One of the tasks set by the so-called collective West, particularly by Washington and London, to the Kiev regime and for which they paid quite well, was to turn Russia’s energy cooperation with the Western European countries into an endless zone of turbulence,” Zakharova said.
Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico warned on Monday that Bratislava would halt diesel supplies to Ukraine if Kiev doesn’t resume the transit of Russian oil via its territory, noting that Slovak deliveries account for one-tenth of Ukraine’s diesel consumption.
Kiev imposed sanctions on Lukoil, Russia’s second-largest oil company, in June, freezing its assets and placing restrictions on trade operations.

Representative who Tried to Re-Enact Trump Shooting Scenario Landed 15 of 16 ‘Kill Shots’ Despite Lack of Shooting Experience
The Secret Service has a lot to answer for when it comes to their actions the day that shots were fired at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania, and among the many pieces of the puzzle that don’t add up, the fact that 20-year-old shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to access the roof of a building so close to the former president is perhaps one of the toughest to accept.
Crooks managed to get up onto a rooftop situated less than 150 yards from Trump, where he opened fire on the crowd, grazing Trump’s ear, killing a former volunteer firefighter chief, and critically wounding two other attendees.
Representative Pat Fallon (R-Texas) set out to recreate the incident with his own AR-15 to try to better understand how things went down that day. He noted that he has never had long-gun training and has only shot his weapon on one occasion six years ago.
He recreated the conditions of the incident in Savoy, Texas, and reported his findings in a House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing on Monday.
“I was lying prone on a sloped roof at 130 yards at 6:30 at night. And I knew that he had a scope. I didn’t know what kind, red dot or magnified, so I shot eight rounds from both,” he told the committee.
“You know what the result was? Fifteen out of 16 kill shots! And the one I missed would have hit the president’s ear. That’s a 94 percent success rate, and that shooter was a better shot than me. It’s a miracle President Trump wasn’t killed,” he added.
Crooks reportedly went shooting on multiple occasions and was a member of a local gun club, with his father.
Rep. Fallon’s comments came as he questioned Secret Service Director Kimbery Cheatle, who admitted to being aware of a heightened threat to Trump at the time of the rally.
“You just said you had the ability to beef up the security. You knew about the threat, and you didn’t. And that’s as telling as it is chilling,” Fallon told her.
He went on to point out that the shooter visited the location more times than Cheatle did, even using a drone to scout out a good position to fire from.
The question of how the gunman was able to get close enough to Trump to take such a clear shot at him – one that, according to Fallon, is nearly unmissable – was a big focus of the heated committee hearing, during which Cheatle faced repeated calls from both sides of the aisle to resign.
Sloped roof comment makes no sense
Cheatle also took a lot of flak for saying that the Secret Service didn’t place snipers on the rooftop from which Crooks fired because it was sloped, so they chose to “secure the building from inside” instead.
However, it was clearly not too sloped for a sniper, as evidenced by the fact that an untrained 20-year-old had no trouble shooting from it, and photos showed it was barely sloped and that agents were placed on other nearby rooftops that were more sloped.
Fallon told Cheatle that her “horrifying ineptitude” was a “disgrace” and said she should be fired immediately, while Representative Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina) told her that she was “full of s—t” and said she was “being completely dishonest” after repeatedly sidestepping questions about whether her agency had complied with the committee’s request for a list of all law enforcement agents working at the site, along with all of the audio and video recordings in their possession.
Her evasive language throughout the questioning only deepened calls for her to step down. She resigned the following day in a letter taking full responsibility for what she characterized as a “security lapse.”
