Germany’s Greens refuse to allow deportations of criminal Moroccans and Tunisians despite the growing mayhem.

The crime rate of North Africans is soaring higher in Germany, with Moroccans and Tunisians now responsible for one murder every six days on average. However, other serious crimes, including assault, stabbings, and rape, are exploding as well, with the German left-liberal government overseeing an incredible increase in crime while refusing to deport offenders.

Compared to 2019, murder cases involving Tunisians increased by 110 percent and 67 percent for Moroccans. Last year, a Tunisian or a Moroccan committed a murder every sixth day in Germany, according to data from the Federal Criminal Police Office.

When it comes to sexual crimes such as rape, this group of North Africans is even more overrepresented in the crime data. The number of serious sexual offense cases like rape jumped 169 percent for Tunisians between 2019 and 2023 while Moroccans saw an increase of 65 percent in the same period, according to a report from Bild newspaper.

For assaults and robbery, nationals from these two North African nations were responsible for a total of 6,746 crimes in 2023, which equals 19 cases a day. This group of foreigners also is notorious for attacking police officers, with the number of such cases doubling since 2019.

The number of theft cases involving Moroccan suspects rose from 2,900 in 2019 to 5,501 cases in 2023, and among Tunisians by as much as 176 percent to 3,881 cases in 2023.

The only real numbers that are seeing any drop are in terms of deportations. In 2019, 319 Tunisians and 696 Moroccans were deported to their home countries. In 2023, these numbers fell to 273 Tunisians and 272 Moroccans — despite soaring crime from these two groups and an increasing number of people from these two countries arriving in Germany.

The problem has much to do with the ruling government, with the Greens refusing to label these two countries, well known as tourist destinations for Germans, as “safe countries.” Germans, and even these migrants themselves, routinely take their vacations in these nations.

Even ultra-violent and criminal migrants from these countries can remain in Germany for years without any potential for deportation. As Remix News reported last week, one Moroccan migrant has committed well over 100 crimes in the last 10 years — and despite a standing deportation order and multiple prison stints — he has never been deported back to this home country. Just this month, he triggered four police operations in a matter of 24 hours.

Despite the numerous asylum claims from these nations, the rate of their cases being accepted as actual political persecution is close to zero percent. Most of them are, in reality, economic migrants who travel through numerous safe countries to enjoy Germany’s social welfare system. In many cases, these countries have no interest in taking back criminals who may cause serious problems in their host nation.

The crime rate is not only exploding for these two groups; Germany’s foreign population overall has brought a tremendous amount of criminality with it. In 2023, there was a record share of foreign crime in the data, with 41 percent of all crimes committed by foreigners. For serious crimes like rape and murder, foreigners account for 6 out of every 10 crimes. 

It is important to note that German statistics do not tell the whole story either, as many of the murders are committed by German citizens who are actually of foreign origin and were naturalized as German citizens. For instance, Berlin’s lead prosecutor has stated that three out of every four migrant clan members actually have German citizenship. As a result, every time one of these gang members commits a crime, the police record it as a German committing a crime.

A key feature of the search engine omitted any mention of the former president’s assassination attempt.

Supporters of Donald Trump have responded furiously after it emerged that the Google search engine failed, selectively, to pull up results about the attempted assassination of the former president.

Users who typed “the assassination attempt of” into Google found that ‘Google Suggest’—a feature, also known as Autocomplete, which provides search suggestions based on predictive text—brought up no mention of Trump.

The European Conservative tested claims made online. We entered the prompt and were offered suggested results—and further reading—about assassination attempts on former presidents Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan, Cuban revolutionary Fidel Castro and Jamaican musician Bob Marley. But not about Trump.

The former president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., responded that “Big Tech is trying to interfere in the election AGAIN to help Kamala Harris.”

We all know this is intentional election interference from Google. Truly despicable.

A spokesman from the tech company told the New York Post that there was no “manual action taken on these predictions,” and that its systems include “protections” against Autocomplete predictions “associated with political violence.”

But it is difficult to see how this could explain the alleged suppression of the even more simple search request of “president Donald Trump.”

Internet users have also been sharing examples over the weekend of Meta AI—an artificial intelligence tool founded by Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg which claims to help “you learn, create, connect in new ways, so you can get more out of every moment”—suggesting that the attempted assassination of Trump was a “fictional” event.

Google announced that it was “working on improvements to ensure our systems are more up to date.”

Authorities in Ukraine detain a group accused of orchestrating a series of arsons in Poland and the Baltic states, allegedly under orders from Russian operatives.

Ukrainian security services have apprehended a group believed to be responsible for a series of arson attacks targeting both civilian and critical infrastructure in Poland and the Baltic states.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) asserts that the orchestrators were acting on behalf of Russians. The Office of the Prosecutor General in Kyiv reported that Ukrainian forces had uncovered and arrested individuals planning sabotage activities, including arson attacks against a major trading hall on Marywilska Street in Warsaw earlier in May.

The criminal group was led by a Ukrainian resident from Ivano-Frankivsk, who, according to Ukrainian authorities, sought accomplices online to engage in activities benefitting Russia. Candidates were reportedly prepared to take part in arson attacks on civilian and critical infrastructure in Ukraine, Poland and Baltic countries.

Preventative measures have been applied against three of the detainees. The Ukrainian prosecution has charged them with “state treason, preparation for the deliberate destruction of property by arson, as well as the production, shipment, and sale of illegally produced holographic security elements and the forgery and sale of counterfeit documents.”

Investigations by Ukrainian detectives reveal that the sabotage group meticulously prepared for the attacks.

During searches conducted in about 40 different locations across the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava regions, and Kyiv, police seized weapons and ammunition, nine vehicles, and cash worth over $90,000. Forged vehicle registration documents, medical certificates, and school diplomas were also confiscated.

Despite Ukrainian claims of the group’s connections to Russian services, no concrete evidence has been presented to support this accusation.

Central banks continue gold purchasing spree.

An expert on the gold market believes the precious metal is closer today to becoming the world’s reserve currency than it ever has been.

This is the opinion given by precious metals expertAndrew Sorchini, founder of Beverly Hills Precious Metals, during an interview with Mel K on “The Mel K Show.”

Mel K mentioned people from Goldman Sachs, Chase and all the other banks that have previously spoken negatively about gold are suddenly promoting gold, and she asked Sorchini’s opinion about what is happening right now.

Sorchini said gold is still holding at over $2,300 an ounce and about $125 away from the all-time high which he noted is huge.

“And this is just proof that we’re getting closer to gold being the world’s reserve currency. It’s currently the dollar, but no one wants the dollar anymore because it’s not backed by anything at all, not even oil. And that changed last month. So we’re going to start to see more and more people investing in gold and silver. We’re already seeing other countries out there load up on it,” Sorchini said.

Central banks continue gold purchasing spree

Seven months into 2024, gold remains one of the best-performing global assets of 2024, with many of the world’s central banks driving prices up from their high demand.

The central banks of China, Turkey and India are leading the way on this front, with their purchasing sprees resulting in their reserves adding more than 1,000 metric tons (1,102 U.S. tons) of gold in both 2022 and 2023, according to a recent report from the World Gold Council on gold reserves in central banks.

Global official gold reserves increased by 290 metric tons (320 U.S. tons) in the first quarter of the year, the largest first-quarter increase since 2000 and 69 percent higher than the five-year quarterly average.

China, India and Singapore were among the biggest purchasers of gold in the first quarter of 2024, increasing their reserves by 27.06, 18.51 and 6.57 metric tons, respectively (29.8, 20.4 and 7.24 U.S. tons, respectively).

In May, central banks increased their gold reserves by purchasing 10 metric tons (11.02 U.S. tons) of gold. In the Central Bank Reserves Survey conducted between February and April, 29 percent of central bank respondents indicated that they have plans in motion to continue increasing their gold reserves over the next 12 months.

According to the World Gold Council, this plan is driven by “a desire to rebalance to a more preferred strategic level of gold holdings, domestic gold production and financial market concerns including higher crisis risks and rising inflation.”

“The global economy, as well as gold, seem to be waiting for a catalyst,” said the council in its report. “For gold, we believe the catalyst could come from falling rates in developed markets that attract Western investment flows, as well as continued support from global investors looking to hedge bubbling risks amid a complacent equity market and persistent geopolitical tensions.”
