“Long-term cross-sex hormone treatment may cause temporary or even permanent infertility,” NHS admits.

England’s National Health Service (NHS) has banned puberty blockers for children 16 years old and under over negative and potentially irreversible side effects.

The NHS now admits what many critics of transgender treatments have been saying all along: that puberty blockers have irreversible and damaging effects on children, including sterility.

“Puberty blockers (gonadotrophin-releasing hormone analogues) are not available to children and young people for gender incongruence or gender dysphoria because there is not enough evidence of safety and clinical effectiveness,” the NHS website now reads.

The website goes on to state that “these hormones cause some irreversible changes” in adolescence such as breast development (in the case of oestrogen) or deepening of the voice (in the case of taking testosterone).

“Long-term cross-sex hormone treatment may cause temporary or even permanent infertility,” it adds.

Health Minister Maria Caulfield praised the NHS’ decision.

“We have always been clear that children’s safety and wellbeing is paramount, so we welcome this landmark decision by the NHS,” Caulfield said.

“Ending the routine prescription of puberty blockers will help ensure that care is based on evidence, expert clinical opinion and is in the best interests of the child.”

This comes just days after leaked files from the leading transgender advocacy group World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) revealed members knowingly administered cancer-causing hormone treatments and improvised treatments without meeting rigorous medical standards.

The emails also showed trans patients were unaware of permanent side effects of the “trans” treatments they’d received, such as infertility and inability to achieve orgasms.

Transgender advocacy groups predictably are freaking out over the NHS’ decision.

Transgender youth charity Mermaids called the announcement “deeply disappointing” and accused the NHS of “failing trans youth.”

“Those currently prescribed puberty blockers won’t see any changes to their treatment, and this is a pause on prescribing – not a ban,” a spokesperson claimed.

“It’s also important to note that puberty blockers can be just one possible part of a young person’s gender journey. However, this news still comes as a blow and will deeply affect our communities.”

Hopefully more governments will come to reason and similarly ban these harmful hormone treatments for children.

Team Trump wasted no time as it ventures to reshape the RNC in Trump’s image.

On its very first day in control of the Republican National Committee following last week’s takeover, Team Trump wasted no time as it ventures to reshape the RNC in Trump’s image — immediately bringing the axe down on more than 60 of the organization’s 200-some staffers. Vendors are also bracing for possible terminations of their RNC relationships. 

“[The new leadership is] in the process of evaluating the organization and staff to ensure the building is aligned” with its vision, said new RNC chief operating officer Sean Cairncross in an email to staff. 

Among those whose career blood is splattered on the walls of RNC headquarters are five senior staffers, including the leaders of the political, communications and data teams. Some employees are being asked to resign but with an opportunity to reapply for their jobs. “If you choose to not reapply, your last day of employment will be March 31,” wrote Cairncross. In a possible indication of the new leadership’s urgency to reorganize the party, Cairncross’s own name was misspelled on his email.  

Last week, RNC members voted to put Trump’s endorsed candidates in command. North Carolina GOP chair Michael Whatley is now the RNC chairman, Trump daughter-in-law Lara Trump is co-chair and Trump senior campaign adviser Chris LaCivita is the chief operations officer.  

The RNC renovation isn’t just about achieving Trumpist purity — it’s also aimed at cost-cutting: 

Trump advisers have described the RNC’s structure as overly bloated and bureaucratic, which they believe has contributed to the party’s cash woes. The RNC had about $8 million at the end of December, only about one-third as much as the Democratic National Committee. – Politico

The new organization will consolidate some functions — such as fundraising, communications and data — into a single department. The finance and digital teams are likely to move to Palm Beach, where Trump’s reelection campaign is headquartered, an insider tells the New York Times. 

Lara Trump told Fox News the RNC will focus on three pillars to ensure a winning November: “Turn out the vote, protect the vote, and raise money, but I would argue that maybe the most important of those three is protecting the vote; election integrity.” 

The RNC has already established an election integrity division, she said, and will augment it with a nationwide network of volunteers, to include poll-watchers, poll-workers and lawyers, adding, “We can never allow what happened in 2020 and the questions surrounding that election to ever happen again.”

“The so-called TikTok ban is a trojan horse,” says Rep. Thomas Massie.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) has raised the alarm that the new bill ostensibly designed to ban the Chinese-owned social media app TikTok also gives the president the power to ban entire websites.

“The so-called TikTok ban is a trojan horse” said Massie Tuesday. “The President will be given the power to ban WEB SITES, not just Apps.”

“The person breaking the new law is deemed to be the U.S. (or offshore) INTERNET HOSTING SERVICE or App Store, not the ‘foreign adversary.’”

Massie then focused on a specific exclusion in the bill.

Similarly, X boss Elon Musk echoed Massie’s sentiment by saying the new law enables government censorship.

Earlier this week, former President Donald Trump also came out against the ban on TikTok by saying the move would empower Facebook, whom he considers “an enemy of the people.”

“Without TikTok, you can make Facebook bigger,” said Trump to CNBC Monday. “And I consider Facebook to be an enemy of the people, along with a lot of the media.”

Massie has a track record of calling out government overreach.

In November, Massie also raised the alarm of a failed effort to stop a federal mandate that would require all vehicles sold after 2026 to be equipped with a kill switch.

GOP Tennessee Senator Bill Hagerty joined Fox News host Maria Bartiromo this week to warn the American people about Democrats using illegal immigration to gain more political power by giving blue states more electoral votes.

Hagerty was discussing legislation he recently proposed to address the issue that was defeated in the Senate after every Democrat voted against the bill last week.

The proposed bill would have simply excluded illegal immigrants from being counted in the U.S. Census since it’s used to tally the number of House seats each state receives and how many Electoral College votes they get in presidential elections.

The move would favor Democrats as migrants typically vote for the party that welcomed them into the country and provided them millions of dollars in government handouts.

Also, sanctuary cities in blue states filling up with illegals would inflate their House seats and Electoral votes.

“I think this proves the motive of the crime at our border,” Hagerty told Bartiromo. “They want these illegal migrants in here to create more electoral power for them in their blue states. They’re basically creating sanctuary cities to be a magnet so these people will disproportionately flow to these blue states. They’re shipping them there as rapidly as they can.”

He continued, “Since Joe Biden came into office, the estimates are as high as ten million people that have come in here. That would be thirteen extra congressional districts if you allocated them the right way. This is a tremendous amount of power that the Democrats are bringing in. They’re giving their voters, the blue state voters, disproportionately more power than they are giving my voters in Tennessee.”

X owner Elon Musk commented on the segment, writing, “More Presidential and House of Representatives electoral votes will be assigned to the new illegals Biden has let in than the population of 40 US states. Let that sink in.”

Musk had previously brought up the topic, writing, “Since illegals are mostly in Democrat states, both the House and the Presidential vote are shifted ~5% to the left, which is enough to change the entire balance of power! This is a major reason why the Biden administration is ushering in record levels of illegals and doing so few deportations.”

“This should be a crime,” wrote GOP Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

Well, it is already a crime to allow and facilitate the hordes of illegals entering the country so the laws are on the books if law enforcement would take action.
