Nevada Fake Electors Case Dismissed
A judge has dismissed the case against six Nevada Republicans who submitted “fake” electoral votes for former president Donald Trump in 2020.
In a hearing held on Friday morning, Clark County Judge Mary Kay Holthus said she did not believe Clark County was the appropriate jurisdiction for the case to be tried.
“You have literally, in my opinion, a crime that has occurred in another jurisdiction,” Holthus said.
“It’s so appropriately up north and so appropriately not here.”
The state is unable to refile the case “up north”, in Carson City or Douglas County, where the “fake” votes were signed and mailed respectively, because the three-year stature of limitations for the case has now expired. Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford has said he will appeal the ruling to the state’s Supreme Court.
The decision is the first “fake elector” case to receive a judgment. There are currently prosecutions taking place in four other swing states (Michigan, Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin) where the Trump campaign attempted to submit alternative electoral votes in 2020.
The six defendants in the Nevada case—Michael McDonald, Jim DeGraffenreid, Jesse Law, Jim Hindle, Shawn Meegan and Eileen Rice—were indicted on counts of offering a false imprisonment for filing and uttering a forged instruments, which together carry potential sentences of two to nine years’ imprisonment.
The merits of the case were not considered. The defendants challenged the constitutionality of the charges against them, arguing that they did not intend to defraud state and federal officials, and that the documents were not forged but simply contained “false information.”

Biden Admin Pushed Amazon To Censor “Anti-Vax Books” during Pandemic
The Biden administration pushed Amazon to censor “anti-vax” books during the pandemic, a House Committee has revealed.
The House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government obtained documents that show the retail giant bowed to official pressure from the federal government and limited the visibility of certain titles.
“Internal emails reveal that Amazon initially added 43 books to its newly created ‘Do Not Promote’ class of allegedly anti-vaccine books,” tweeted Rep. Jim Jordan, who sits as chair of the Committee.
“These pro-censorship changes were being made ‘due to criticism from the Biden people.’”
THE AMAZON FILES PART 3 – AMAZON’S CENSORED BOOKS LIST
We knew that @Amazon censored books because of pressure from the Biden @WhiteHouse.
Now we know which books:
–Children’s Books
–Books for Parents
–Books critical of Big Pharma
? Thread:— Rep. Jim Jordan (@Jim_Jordan) June 21, 2024
The list of over 40 titles included children’s books, as well as books like The Autism Vaccine: The Story of Modern Medicine’s Greatest Tragedy.
One of the children’s books that was censored told children that discriminating on the basis of vaccination status is wrong.
“Instead of censoring it, Amazon should have sent the book to Fauci, @GavinNewsom and @JoeBiden,” said Rep. Jordan in another tweet.
Other books that were censored provided evidence that Big Pharma’s funding of scientific research could create conflicts of interest, and provided evidence to help parents decide whether or not their children should be vaccinated.
Rep. Jordan described the censorship as “unconstitutional, full stop.”
“Whether you agree with this speech or not, free speech is free speech and the Biden Admin pressured private companies to censor constitutionally protected speech.”

Missouri AG To Sue State of New York over Trump Prosecution
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has announced that he will be suing the State of the New York over its prosecution of former president Donald Trump.
AG Bailey made the announcement in a post on Twitter on Friday.
“I will be filing suit against the State of New York for their direct attack on our democratic process through unconstitutional lawfare against President Trump.
“It’s time to restore the rule of law.”
In a follow-up post, Bailey labelled New York DA Alvin Bragg a “rogue prosecutor who is trying to take a presidential candidate off the campaign trail.”
Bailed added that the prosecution “sabotages Missourians’ right to a free and fair election.”
“It’s time to prosecute the prosecutors.”

In an appearance on Fox, in which he discussed the decision to sue at greater length, Bailey said, “He [Bragg] is self-interested in this case because President Trump is a political opponent of the people Alvin Bragg is backing.”
Bailey also noted that Bragg’s prosecution of Trump is just the latest attack in a long campaign of lawfare that stretches right back to the moment Trump was elected in 2016.
