WATCH: House Republicans Host Forum Examining Attempted Assassination of Trump
House Republicans hosted a ‘July 13th Forum’ Monday in Washington, DC, investigating alarming new details surrounding the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.
Reps. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Eli Crane (R-AZ), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Cory Mills (R-FL), and Chip Roy (R-TX) hosted a forum on the attempted assassination of former President Trump. Dan Bongino, a former United States Secret Service special agent; Erik Prince, former United States Navy SEAL officer; and Ben Shaffer, a Washington regional SWAT operator, were the witnesses who discussed the timeline of events in Butler, Pennsylvania; communications and rules of engagement between law enforcement; and whether negligence by Secret Service displayed incompetence or potentially nefarious intent, reports C-SPAN.

Watch: Trump Declares He’ll Stop Funding Migrant Shelters, Divert Funds to Homeless US Veterans
While the Biden-Harris regime has prioritized illegal immigrants over homeless veterans, a Donald Trump presidency would defund migrant shelters and redirect funds to help get them off the streets, the former president declared Monday.
Trump unveiled the new policy proposal during a National Guard event in Detroit, Michigan, promising to fix the illegal alien fiasco the Biden-Harris administration has facilitated in sanctuary cities across America.
“Under Kamala Harris, American veterans are treated worse by far than illegal aliens,” Trump said adding that illegals, “they stay in hotels.”
PRESIDENT TRUMP: Under Kamala, American veterans are treated worse — by far — than illegal aliens. She has spent over $1 billion to house illegals in luxury hotels as more than 41,000 homeless American veterans are living in squalor on our streets.

IT’S A DISGRACE. pic.twitter.com/k3dQ2FzXjg
“We have veterans sleeping on the street, and inside luxury hotels you have people that came into our country, many from prisons, many from mental institutions, many terrorists, and they are treated better than our veterans,” Trump continued.
He went on to point out Biden’s “border czar” has “spent over $1 billion of taxpayer money to house illegal aliens and foreign migrants in some of the most expensive housing and hotels anywhere in the country.”
“Meanwhile more than 41,000 homeless American veterans are living in squalor on our streets.”
The former president declared once he’s re-elected, he’ll reverse the Democrats’ migrant shelter policies, instead using that money to help veterans.
PRESIDENT TRUMP: “When I take office, I will sign an executive order to stop every penny Kamala Harris has been spending on the shelter and transport of illegal aliens—and we will redirect that money to provide shelter and treatment for homeless American veterans. “When I take office, I will sign an executive order to stop every penny that Harris has been spending on the shelter and transport of illegal aliens, and we will redirect that money to provide shelter and treatment for homeless American veterans,” Trump said.
“And we will end very rapidly veterans homelessness in America,” the former president added.
It remains to be seen how long it will take for the Kamala Harris campaign to copy and announce the same proposal.

200+ Bush, McCain, Romney Alums Endorse Kamala for President, Slam Trump
Over 200 alums for neocons George W. Bush, John McCain and Mitt Romney announced their endorsement of Kamala Harris on Monday, calling another term under former President Donald Trump “untenable.”
The letter from 238 former officials of three previous Republican presidential nominees claims that although they have “disagreements” with the Harris-Walz ticket, a Trump victory would “jeopardize” democracy.
“We reunite today, joined by new George H.W. Bush alumni, to reinforce our 2020 statements and, for the first time, jointly declare that we’re voting for Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz this November,” the letter reads.
“Of course, we have plenty of honest, ideological disagreements with Vice President Harris and Gov. Walz. That’s to be expected. The alternative, however, is simply untenable.”
From USA Today:
Among those who signed the letter in support of Harris and her running-mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, include: former McCain chiefs of staff Mark Salter and Chris Koch; Joe Donoghue, former legislative director for McCain; Jennifer Lux, press secretary for McCain’s 2008 campaign, and Jean Becker, longtime chief of staff for George H.W. Bush.
Also backing Harris are David Nierenberg, Romney’s 2012 campaign finance chair; David Garman, under secretary of Energy for George W. Bush; and Olivia Troye, a former advisor to both George W. Bush and Vice President Mike Pence. Troye spoke from the stage of the DNC convention last week.
“At home, another four years of Donald Trump’s chaotic leadership, this time focused on advancing the dangerous goals of Project 2025, will hurt real, everyday people and weaken our sacred institutions,” the letter says, referring to the Heritage Foundation’s policy outline that Trump denounced as not a part of his policy platform.
“Abroad, democratic movements will be irreparably jeopardized as Trump and his acolyte JD Vance kowtow to dictators like Vladimir Putin while turning their backs on our allies. We can’t let that happen,” it adds.
The letter highlights the ongoing ideological rift between the establishment RINO-neocon wing of the Republican Party and the MAGA movement led by Trump, made obvious by his past feuds with McCain and Romney.
Unlike Trump’s America First doctrine, the establishment wing of the GOP advocated for endless wars, a porous border and mass amnesty to drive down wages, and venerated intelligence agencies that routinely lie to the American people on foreign policy.
A similar group of about 150 anti-Trump former staffers of Bush, McCain and Romney pledged support for Joe Biden in the 2020 election.
At this point in 2024, any Republican who votes for Harris was never a real conservative to begin with given her communist policies directly contradict core Republican values.
