Trump Leads Biden in Second Virginia Poll
A new poll shows Trump leading Biden by 2% in Virginia, providing a fresh indication that the President is heading for disaster in November.
The poll, conducted by Emerson College, shows that 45% of registered voters in Virginia will vote for Trump, as opposed to 43% for Biden. A few weeks ago, another poll showed a similar result.
To put that in context, Biden carried Virginia with 55% of the vote in 2020, 10% more than Trump, and a Republican has not won the state since 2004.
“The real question is, is any of this getting to Biden? Do the people around him tell him?” Larry Sabato, Director of the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics, said to local news station WRIC.
“He is in deep, deep, deep, trouble.”
One of Biden’s main problems in Virginia is that independents want a change of leadership. 46% of independents said they would vote for Trump, as opposed to 38% for Biden. Biden’s declining mental and physical capabilities are clearly a turn-off for independent votes.
“That debate between Biden and Trump pointed out for the rest of this campaign that Joe Biden is enfeebled, at least at times, and you do not want your president—the president of a superpower with lots and lots of nuclear weapons—to be enfeebled,” Sabato added.
The survey was conducted between 13 and 15 July, meaning that almost all of the respondents are likely to have known about the assassination attempt against Donald Trump. This may have produced a “bump of sympathy,” in Sabato’s words, and further polling should reveal whether this is the case.
In a five-way race with independents, Trump’s lead grew to 5%.

Trump Security Detail Denied Repeated Requests for More Resources
Trump’s security detail had repeated requests for additional resources and manpower denied, according to insiders who spoke to The Washington Post.
These requests were made over the last two years, said four anonymous sources who were familiar with the requests.
Agents who were part of Trump’s security detail requested magnetometers and more manpower to screen attendees at Trump events. They also requested additional snipers and specialty units for outdoor events.
These requests were regularly denied by senior Secret Service officials, who cited a number of different reasons, including lack of resources.
The denials are said to have caused serious friction between Trump and his aides on the one hand, and Secret Service officials on the other. Trump’s aides believed the Secret Service was not doing enough to protect the former president’s life.
The allegations were confirmed by Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesman for the Secret Service. According to the Post, “Guglielmi said the agency had learned new information indicating the agency’s headquarters may have in fact denied some requests for additional security from Trump’s detail and was reviewing documentation to understand the specific interactions better.”
Previously, Guglielmi denied these allegations, and in fact asserted the opposite.
Within hours of the assassination attempt last Saturday, the Federalist’s Sean Davis reported on Twitter that “the former and future president’s detail has been asking for beefed up protection and resources for weeks, but has been rebuffed time and again by Biden’s DHS.”
Davis’s claim was denied by Guglielmi, who claimed that Trump’s detail had recently been bolstered by “protective resources & technology & capabilities.”

“I Took a Bullet for Democracy:” Trump Returns to the Stage in Grand Rapids
Donald Trump took to the stage in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the first time since he narrowly escaped an assassin’s bullets last Saturday.
In front of a packed arena—massive queues stretched around the block eight hours before Trump spoke—the former president wasted no time in blasting his opponents for claiming that he’s a “threat to democracy.”
“As you’re seeing, the Democrat Party is not the party of democracy. They’re really the enemies of democracy. The party of corrupt insiders like Whitmer, special interests, and the failed political class. That’s what they are. Under our leadership the Republican Party is now the party of the people. We’re the party of hardworking Americans of every race, religion, colour and creed. We’ve become a very big party.”
Trump distanced himself from Project 2025, a Heritage Foundation project that in recent weeks has been a major source of criticism from his opponents.
“The other side’s going around trying to make me sound extreme, like I’m an extremist. I’m not. I’m a person with great common sense. I’m not an extremist at all. Like some on the right, the severe right, came up with this Project ’25. I don’t even know. I mean, some of them I know who they are, but they’re very, very conservative. They’re sort of the opposite of the radical left.”
“I don’t know anything about it. I don’t want to know anything about it.”
“They keep saying, ‘He’s a threat to democracy,’” Trump added.
“I’m saying, ‘What the hell did I do for democracy? Last week I took a bullet for democracy!’”

Trump spoke about the assassination attempt.
“It was exactly one week ago today almost to the hour, even to the minute,” he said, as chants of “Fight! Fight! Fight!” rang out in the crowd.
“What a day it was. As I said earlier this week, I stand before you only by the grace of almighty God, that’s true. I shouldn’t be here. I shouldn’t be here.”
Trump also praised Corey Comperatore, the army veteran and firefighter who was killed during the assassination attempt, as he shielded his wife and daughter.
“Cory was a hero and we will carry his memory in our hearts for all time. Great Hero,” Trump said.

This Is A Test Of The Emergency Cyber Attack Network
Most people may not remember the recent history involving Crowdstrike, the Obama Administration, and the Russia Collusion Hoax.
CrowdStrike is operating on a massive level, integrated into the grid, transportation, and hospitals.
The Austin, Texas-based company CrowdStrike was at the heart of the Democrat’s Deep State deception.
Don’t let the media white wash the details.
With a company so deeply embedded in Democrat sabotage, the “global outage” that just occurred was likely no accidental update.
It was a test of the emergency cyber attack network.
Sen. Hawley Says FBI Blocked Him From Rally Site Where Trump Was Shot
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Ark.) revealed the FBI turned him away from the rally site where former President Donald was shot last week.
Hawley explained in a Friday exchange with Fox News host Sean Hannity that he tried to visit the fateful spot in Butler, Pennsylvania, where at least one shooter attempted to assassinate Trump, but was ordered by the Bureau to leave.
“Today, when I went to the site, the FBI has got more security on that site now than they did the night that Trump was shot at,” Hawley said.
As the Senate prepares for hearings, today I went to Butler County to see the site of the shooting myself – and FBI told me to leave. We need ANSWERS. I won’t stop pushing until we get them pic.twitter.com/rtswNlngGi

“And they’re trying to control the information. Sean, they tried to kick me off of the site. They said ‘Get outta here, you shouldn’t be on this site, we don’t want you here.’”
“They brought local cops Sean, get this — I’m there onsite, I had permission from the local security operator to be there and the FBI came out and said, ‘You have got to leave. We do not want you here,’” he added.
The Arkansas senator was simply probing the security lapses at the site that led to the shooter to be able to take several shots at the former president and how several eyewitnesses got the jump on the would-be assassin before the authorities did.
Here’s my view of the scene where President Trump was shot. Big question: why wasn’t the building where the shooter fired from included in the security perimeter? It’s incredibly close, with a clear line of sight pic.twitter.com/r1n7cnaH0q

Hawley on Friday also sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas revealing he’d been hearing from whistleblowers within the DHS exposing the fact that most of Trump’s security detail that day were NOT, in fact, Secret Service personnel.

“Whistleblowers who have direct knowledge of the event have approached my office,” Hawley wrote.

According to the allegations, the July 13 rally was considered to be a ‘loose’ security event. For example, detection canines were not used to monitor entry and detect threats in the usual manner. Individuals without proper designations were able to gain access to backstage areas. Department personnel did not appropriately police the security buffer around the podium and were also no stationed at regular intervals around the event’s security perimeter.
Security was so lax that the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was even able to fly a drone into the security perimeter and smuggle in homemade explosive devices to the event showground, according to reports.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and the House Oversight and Homeland Security Committees in the aftermath of the failed attempt on Trump’s life announced that they would conduct an investigation into the shooting.
Secret Service Director later agreed to testify this Monday about her agency’s failure to protect Trump after she was threatened with subpoenas by Republican lawmakers.
