‘A Great Day for Ireland’ — Leo Varadkar Suddenly Resigns as Prime Minister

“Hopefully, he will be one of the first of many losses and resignations from Hibernophobic political ranks.”

Leo Varadkar has announced his resignation as the prime minister of Ireland and will step down as soon as a successor is elected.

In an emotional address to the country on Wednesday, the liberal politician confirmed he would be standing down as both Irish Taoiseach and the president of his Fine Gael party.

Varadkar reeled off a list of his own personal achievements, saying it had been an honor to lead Ireland to “full employment, from austerity to prosperity, and through a pandemic in which we saved lives and livelihoods.”

He praised his administration’s commitment to “the LGBT community” and expressed his pride in welcoming “over 100,000 Ukrainians to Ireland when they needed our protection, notwithstanding the challenges this brings.”

The Irish leader did acknowledge that there were areas “in which we have been much less successful and some where we have sadly gone backward” without offering any qualification. “I hope you’ll forgive me if I leave it to others to point them out on a day like this. They will receive plenty of airtime and column space,” he noted.

“On a personal level, I’ve enjoyed being Taoiseach, party leader, and a cabinet member since March 2011. I’ve learned so much about so many things, met so many people who I would never have got to meet. I’ve been to places I would never have seen, both home and abroad,” he said.

“However, politicians are human beings and we have our limitations. We give it everything until we can’t anymore, and then we have to move on. I will of course continue to fulfill my duties as Taoiseach until a new one is elected.

“I know, inevitably, there’ll be speculation as to the ‘real’ reason for my decision. These are the real reasons. That’s it. I have nothing else lined up. I have nothing in mind. I have no definite personal or political plans. But I’m really looking forward to having the time to think about them,” he added.

Public calls for Varadkar and his administration to resign had been growing in Ireland following the government’s sizeable defeat in two referenda held earlier this month on proposed amendments to the Irish Constitution.

The two amendments comprehensively rejected by the Irish electorate pertained to the family and care, proposing the extension of the meaning of “family” beyond marriage between a man and a woman, and deleting references to the centrality of a woman’s “life within the home,” replacing this with a genderless term. The amendments were defeated by 67.7 percent and 73.9 percent of the vote, respectively.

A rise in opposition against the government’s open-borders agency also exerted considerable pressure on Varadkar amid sky-high immigration and asylum applications.

Even Varadkar himself admitted last October that the level of asylum and immigration being witnessed was unsustainable in the medium term, warning that the country’s infrastructure would soon collapse if it continued at the current rate.

“If [50,000 people] arrived over the course of the next year — and based on current numbers, it wouldn’t be far off that — we just don’t know if we’re able to provide that level of accommodation,” he said at the time.

Asylum applications have continued to flood in at the same rate — an issue that will now need to be addressed by Varadkar’s successor.

Speaking to Remix News, President of the Irish Freedom Party Hermann Kelly declared Varadkar’s resignation as a “great day for Ireland.”

“A man who has done so much damage to Ireland resigns. After seven years in power, he leaves behind a legacy of open borders and a much less safe country allied to a massive housing crisis and youth emigration.

“The referenda result of two weeks ago should be the first signal that rampant globalism in Ireland is being challenged for the first time in decades. Hopefully, he will be one of the first of many losses and resignations from Hibernophobic political ranks,” he added.

Texas Pulls .5 Billion Investment From BlackRock Over ESG Push

GOP-led state continues fighting back against globalist policies

Texas State Board of Education Chairman Aaron Kinsey told Fox News on Tuesday the state will be terminating an $8.5 billion investment with globalist investment firm BlackRock due to its relentless promotion of ESG (environmental, social and governance) guidelines.

— New York Post (@nypost) March 19, 2024

The money was going to come from the Texas Permanent School Fund (PSF), a wealth fund for the state’s public schools that has been around since 1854.

However, the PSF is now citing a 2021 Texas state law preventing the government from dealing with financial institutions that promote anti-oil and anti-gas policies.

“The Texas Permanent School Fund has a fiduciary duty to protect Texas schools by safeguarding and growing the approximately $1 billion in annual oil and gas royalties managed by the Texas General Land Office,” Kinsey explained. “Terminating BlackRock’s contract ensures PSF’s full compliance with Texas law.”

He continued:

“BlackRock’s dominant and persistent leadership in the ESG movement immeasurably damages our state’s oil & gas economy and the very companies that generate revenues for our PSF. Texas and the PSF have worked hard to grow this fund to build Texas’ schools. BlackRock’s destructive approach toward the energy companies that this state and our world depend on is incompatible with our fiduciary duty to Texans.”

Today, Texas Permanent School Fund leadership delivered an official notice to global asset manager BlackRock terminating its financial management of approximately $8.5 billion in Texas’ assets.

Essentially, globalist-controlled groups like BlackRock are using their financial influence to force America to stop investing in traditional energy industries and instead invest in “green energy” technologies being pushed by the WEF, WHO and other unelected NWO operations.

Of course, their cronies are already heavily invested in and are betting on these alternative energy technologies being forced on the public so they can make massive profits regardless of whether or not the tech is actually superior and better for the environment than the current technology.

Border Update: Federal Courts & SCOTUS Battle Over Texas Deportation Bill As Mexico Vows To Refuse Deportees

The Great Replacement isn’t coming, it’s here!

Hours after The Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled in favor of a bill allowing Texas to arrest and deport illegal immigrants, The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals temporarily blocked the state from enforcing the law.

Newsmax interviewed former CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan on the ruling, who explained, “This is a little bit of a legal technicality here that’s allowed in our justice system right now. So the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals basically overruled the U.S. Supreme Court,” calling the move, “bizarre.”

Morgan also noted Mexican cartels are extremely sophisticated with how they coach incoming illegals on how to use U.S. immigration loopholes before pointing out the Mexican government has announced it will refuse any deportees who aren’t of Mexican origin.

“I Believe In The Black Swan” – Ron Paul and Tucker Talk Ukraine, US Interventionism, and ‘The Most Important Thing’

At the end of the day, Paul says “the Republic is gone.”

Ron Paul and Tucker Carlson sat down for an in-depth and thought-provoking exchange spanning U.S. foreign policy, the philosophical underpinnings of government intervention, and the overarching consequences of monetary policy.

For a man who correctly predicted most of the big disasters of the last twenty years, Ron Paul is remarkably humble. pic.twitter.com/Ib7F9idXn3

— Tucker Carlson (@TuckerCarlson) March 19, 2024

Subscribers to the Tucker Carlson Network can see the entire interview here…

On Ukraine

Paul, a longtime critic of US foreign policy – particularly interventionism, slammed America’s involvement in the Ukraine war. Carlson played a soundbite of Paul in 2014, when the United States was deep into the reformation of Ukraine.

“We’ve already spent $5 billion over the last ten years trying to pick and choose the leadership of Ukraine … And then we participated in the overthrow of the Yanukovych government,” (for which then-VP Joe Biden was point-man within the Obama administration).”

And I take a noninterventionist foreign policy position. It’s not our business. It doesn’t serve anybody’s interests. It’s part of the same thing that led us into the disaster in the Middle East. So a lot of people die and a lot of money is spent…

-Ron Paul, 2014

Carlson asked Paul just how he knew all that in 2014to which Paul replied: “Sometimes the people who are running their operation gives you an idea, like like Victoria Nuland,” who he called “the worst kind of warmonger.”

“Who benefits from these bombs being dropped?” Paul continued.

On Monetary Policy and Economic Principles

According to Paul, America needs to “go through rough tumble times because the price always has to be paid,” adding “How do you liquidate the debt? You know, we can’t walk away from that debt.

When asked by Carlson how to do this, Paul said that the government would essentially inflate their way out of it.

You print money, and every time you print money, the value of the dollar goes down. So the value of the debt goes down … If you double the money supply and prices go up by 50%, it doesn’t work that way. But if you do that, the real debt, it goes down. So it’s a theft, it’s a tax, it’s evil.” -Ron Paul

“So you inflate your way out of it,” Carlson replied.

Yeah. And that’s that’s what will happen,” Paul said.

Non-Aggression

Carlson then asked a probing question regarding Paul’s comment that he speaks to the “remnant” of people who understand what’s going on, and who find each other – and that it’s more than just practical and political, but spiritual.

“I think that, that’s the same principle, you know, the non-aggression principle. Yeah. I think more Christians should know about non-aggression,” Paul replied, adding that he can’t stand lawmakers who “speak well and are dedicated to the Constitution and freedom and peace, and they go on and on. And, yes, they’re the biggest war mongers ever. They never voted for a nickel against the military and God complex, but they still call themselves a conservative constitutionalist.”

Ron Paul calls out the RINOs in Congress:

Changing Minds

While Ron Paul says he doesn’t have the perfect answer to what’s going on in Ukraine (“Well, now we have World War three on a doorstep. And every day we try to start another fight with Russia. And there we go. On and on. So it’s, it’s it’s not going to be stopped that way”), he said he’s encouraged by people changing their mindstowards war.

Paul says that people are “starved for the truth,” and when they learn it, they learn that “things can get better.”

‘Don’t be a Counterfeiter”

According to Paul, it’s easy for him to discuss monetary policy because the US government is “a counterfeiter.”

“It’s illegal. The Constitution says that only gold. Silver can be legal tender. So. And here. Yeah. Guess what? 1930, 34, when, Roosevelt made gold illegal,” Paul said, adding that “it isn’t hard for people to understand counterfeit. And the other thing is, this is not hard for people to understand taxation. It’s a tax. It’s a vicious tax. It’s a tax on the poor in the middle class. And it enhances war. It enhances all this welfare.

Ron Paul is a legend:

“If you and I can’t steal from our neighbor, and we can’t take their car, and we can’t hurt people, why is it that we let the government do it?”pic.twitter.com/En3zegj80d

— Citizen Free Press (@CitizenFreePres) March 20, 2024

How to Prepare

Carlson then asked Paul what the average person should do “if what you have predicted comes true,” which he thinks it “likely will” since “there’s no way to get out of the debt and a way to liquidate it except through inflation. Hyperinflation. How do you protect your family? Like, what practical steps do you take?

To which Paul replied, “I think people should know about how how oh, throughout history, even currently, we’re in the middle of it. You know, the depreciation of the money and what people can do so that they, they that I list is a real eye opener for me.

“But you can’t do that forever. I think we’re reaching this point where, some sudden thing is going to happen. I believe in that theory of the Black Swan.”

Ron Paul says people should prepare for a Black Swan event pic.twitter.com/TCwLZvKyHn

— Citizen Free Press (@CitizenFreePres) March 19, 2024

Drilling down, Paul suggested that people learn the “most important thing” to prepare:

Understand what’s going on in education, which is “why I happen to have a home schooling program, and I try to teach this stuff early because you can’t change it.”

Study and understand what’s going on in the world. Paul says that “you have your guns and you have stored food and all that, it’s not it’s not going to work,” adding “You have to know it’s coming and it’s very, very dangerous. And that’s why I love to see smaller units of government.” Essentially, the idea would be that in a “black swan” scenario, states would “act like they ought to act” and protect their people.

“But really, the most important thing you do is study and understand what’s going on.”

Own Gold. According to Paul (and what every ZH reader should already know), “Gold can protect you from inflation,” something that’s been “known for 6,000 years.”

“You know, just since the Bretton Woods broke down. August 15th, 1971. If you were betting on a gold coin or, you know, your dollar dollar lost 98% of its purchasing power and gold went from $35 up. And that was it. You know, it’s around 2000. Yeah, that’s a ways to go. Yeah. Because the dollar has a ways to go to. Yeah. They can’t they can’t they can restore the dollar. But but there has to be a liquidation of debt…”

“And it’ll come down,” Paul continued.

BUT (and it’s a big but…): “You can have your gold, you can have food, you can have your cabin and and guns and all this. I said it won’t matter if you don’t have your freedom.”

‘There Was A Coup And We Lost’

Paul lamented how big government is “taking stuff from us all the time,” and most of it comes from the middle class, who is “poor,” and “suffer the consequence of inflation.”

Very wealthy people don’t have to worry about the cost of a loaf of bread, but what they make, they, they they do have to, they have to worry about the big system. Because when the big system goes on, there’s not many people who are going to escape it. There will be some, Paul continued, adding that we have “deserted the constitution.

Paul says that the government has been taken over, the precise date of which was November 22nd, 1963 – the date JFK was assassinated.

Ron Paul Marks the Day We ‘Lost Our Government’

“So you you say in this an I don’t think it’s a controversial statement anymore, but the CIA, of course, was involved in his murder,” Carlson said. “You said you believe that his fate was sealed on June 10th, 1963, when he gave a commencement address at American University. Fairly famous speech, which I plan to watch tonight, actually. About peace. Tell us what you mean.”

To which Paul replied, “Kennedy was controversial. He wasn’t always anti-war as he was leading up to his death. Yes. He had he had some foreign policies that I wouldn’t be endorsing. But he was he was coming this way,” adding “And, it became known that because he did speak out and I think it wasn’t that many days, you know, before his assassination.

Paul said that during all his time in Congress, he never heard anyone say that the CIA was involved in Kennedy’s assassination, aside from his close friends.

He did explain his take on the deep state…

At the end of the day, Paul says “the Republic is gone.

That said, Paul and Carlson agreed that one should have optimism and faith in the principles of liberty, non-aggression and personal responsibility, as Paul has a profound belief in the capacity for change and improvement.

German Children ‘Must Be Prepared for War’ – Official

Military officers should visit schools to build “relaxed” relations with students, Bettina Stark-Watzinger has suggested

German children should be made to prepare for war to boost “resilience,” Education Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger stated on Saturday.

She said kids should be taught what to do in the event of conflict and suggested introducing “civil defense” drills in schools so that youngsters will be prepared for the years ahead.

“Society as a whole must prepare well for crises, from a pandemic to natural disasters to war. Civil defense is immensely important, and it also belongs in schools. The goal must be to strengthen our resilience,” Stark-Watzinger said in an interview with the Funke media group.

She also called for a “relaxed relationship” to be fostered between schoolchildren and the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), suggesting that military officers should visit schools to explain what “the Bundeswehr does for our security.”

President of the German Teachers’ Association, Stefan Dull, told Bild last week that the minister’s proposal “makes sense.”

“I expect the federal minister to now seek discussions with the education ministers in the federal states,” he said, adding that a “declaration of intent is not enough – politics lessons now have to teach about the war in Ukraine and the pan-European, even global threat situation.”

Stark-Watzinger’s initiative reflects the German government’s policy aimed at making the country “war ready” in the face of a potential Russia-NATO conflict, which could happen within a few years, according to senior German defense officials.

In February, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius claimed in an interview with Bloomberg that Russia may attack NATO “in five to eight years.”

German chief of defense, General Carsten Breuer, also highlighted the “paramount” importance of making the country’s military ready within the next five years.

“We call this Kriegstuchtigkeit – being ready, capable and willing to fight. We are on the right track,” he declared.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that Russia has never had plans to attack NATO. In December, he described such speculation as “complete nonsense,” adding that fear of a ‘Russian threat’ in the EU was being fueled by the US, as Washington fears losing its dominance on the European continent.
