Peter Hotez: Use Police and Military To Counter “Anti-Vaccine Aggression”

Dr Hotez believes the police and military must be used to counter “anti-vaccine aggression”

Dr Peter Hotez has suggested that the police and military should be used to counter “anti-vaccine aggression” in the US and around the world, and blamed such “aggression” for causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of deaths in the US during the pandemic.

Dr Hotez, a high-profile advocate of the COVID-19 vaccines during the pandemic, was being interviewed earlier this month at the International Symposium of Pediatric Updates in Cartagena, Colombia, when he made the comments.

“What I’ve said to the Biden administration is, the health sector can’t solve this on its own. We’re going to have to bring in Homeland Security, the Commerce Department, Justice Department to help us understand how to do this.

“I met with Dr. Tedros [director general of the WHO] last month… to say, I don’t know that the World Health Organization can solve this on our own. We need the other United Nations agencies. NATO. This is a security problem because it’s no longer a theoretical construct or some arcane academic exercise. Two hundred thousand Americans died because of anti-vaccine aggression, anti-science aggression.

“And so, this is now a lethal force… and now I feel as a pediatric vaccine scientist… it’s important, just as important for me to make new vaccines, to save lives. The other side of saving lives is countering this anti-vaccine aggression.”

Dr Hotez described the “anti-vaccine movement” as being “political motivated” and “organized,” “deliberate” and “well-funded.”

A full video of the interview was available until Wednesday, when it was removed from YouTube. The Defender obtained the full video and provided a transcript on its website.

Hotez is currently dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor University College of Medicine. He is also director of the Center for Vaccine Development at Texas Children’s Hospital, which sponsored the event in Colombia.

Dr Hotez was directly involved in the development of the Corbevax COVID-19 vaccine, which was administered in India, and has received tens of millions of dollars in funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He holds patents for a variety of different vaccines.

In addition to his medical research, Dr Hotez has become a highly visible campaigner in the fight against “vaccine misinformation.” A puff-piece in The Hill from March noted that Dr Hotez finds “pushing back on the anti-vaccine movement is just as important as developing vaccines.”

620% Higher Risk of Myocarditis after mRNA COVID Vaxx

Researchers in South Korea have revealed stunning increases in risk of cardiac, neurological and autoimmune conditions

People who received an mRNA COVID vaccine are at a 620% increased risk of myocarditis and a 175% increased risk of pericarditis, according to a new large-scale study.

Researchers in South Korea looked at health data for over nine million South Koreans, and found that those who received mRNA vaccinations for COVID were a significantly elevated risk for a variety of cardiac and neurological conditions.

As well as the significant increases in risk for myo- and pericarditis given above, individuals who received an mRNA vaccination were at 62% increased risk for Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare neurological condition.

There was also a 16% increased risk of the most common form of lupus and a 58% risk of bullous pemphigoid, a blistering skin condition. Booster shots were associated with increased risks of autoimmune conditions such as alopecia areata (hair loss), psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.

The research authors noted that, because of its focus on just a single ethnic group, the study may have less validity for other ethnic groups. They also noted that the 15-month follow-up may not be long enough to capture the full range of health conditions and their onset as a result of the mRNA vaccines.

Another South Korean study recently found significant increases in the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and cognitive impairment in individuals given mRNA COVID vaccines.

Trump: Biden Removal Was a “Coup”

Trump described Joe Biden’s removal from the presidential race as “horrible”

Joe Biden was removed from the 2024 presidential race by a “coup,” Donald Trump told the audience at a packed Turning Point Action event in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday.

From the podium Trump described Joe Biden’s removal as “horrible.”

“As you know, five days ago, we officially defeated the worst President in the history of the United States: Crooked Joe Biden. You know, I thought a lot about it. We defeated him. He was badly beaten. And, you know, everybody was going to him… And they were saying, ‘We want you out of the race. You’re going to lose. We want to put somebody else in.’

“How about that? It’s like a prize fighter. He’s losing badly, ready to be knocked out. And they say, ‘Well, wait, let’s stop the fight. Let’s put somebody else in.’ It doesn’t work that way. And it’s not supposed to work that way. And this really was a coup by the Democrats. This was a coup…

“I hate to stick up for Biden, but, you know, he didn’t want to do what he did. He said, ‘I’ll never go out. I’ll never, ever go out.’ Two days later, ‘I’m proud to go out…’ And now they’re trying to make him into a brave hero. ‘He’s so brave.’”

Trump also tore into Kamala Harris, describing her as a “bum.”

“She was a bum three weeks ago. She was a bum. A failed VP, in a failed administration, with millions of people crossing and she was the Border Czar.”

Trump added that Harris is “worse than Joe Biden and in a true sense much more liberal.”

The former president’s appearance was the first without an ear bandage since the attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania two weeks ago.

He told the audience that he removed the bandage “for this group.”

“As I think you can see, I’ve recovered well and, in fact, just took off the last bandage off of my ear.”

FBI Confirms Bullet not “Shrapnel” Hit Trump

The FBI confirmed on Friday that Trump was hit by a bullet

President Trump was hit by a bullet, the FBI confirmed on Friday after Director Christopher Wray suggested otherwise during Congressional testimony.

According to a statement issued on behalf of the FBI, “What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle.”

Questions about the extent and nature of Trump’s injuries were raised almost immediately after the attempted assassination took place, leading to wild theories from “Blue Anon” diehards like Keith Olbermann that the attack might even have been staged. The mainstream media has also done its best to cast doubt on the claim that Trump was struck by a bullet.

Law enforcement agents involved in the investigation, including FBI and Secret Service agents, repeatedly refused to provide comment, and the former president’s team also refused to provide medical records.

Tensions between the FBI and media on the one hand, and the Trump campaign on the other, continued to grow until Wednesday, when speculation was sent into overdrive by FBI Director Chistopher Wray’s testimony before Congress. “There’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that, you know, hit his ear,” Wray said.

Trump responded angrily to Wray’s testimony, on Truth Social.

“No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a ‘bullet wound to the ear,’ and that is what it was. No wonder the once storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!”

The FBI’s statement was well received by the former president, who returned to his social-media platform to accept the agency’s “apology” to him.

“I assume that’s the best apology that we’ll get from Director Wray, but it is fully accepted!” Trump posted.

WATCH: Kamala Harris Gives Support to “Defund the Police” Movement

Kamala Harris endorsed the “defund the police” movement in 2020, before she was appointed Joe Biden’s running mate

Footage has resurfaced on social media of Kamala Harris endorsing the “defund the police” movement and saying that system should be “upended.”

In footage from a Zoom call with radio host Ebro Darden that took place in 2020, during the pandemic but presumably before the election, Harris looks forward to a time when Attorney General Bill Barr is gone, so that the system can be “overhauled.”

Darden Then asks Harris about “defund the police.”

“Defund the police: The issue behind it is that we need to reimagine how we are creating safety,” Harris responds.

“When you have many cities that have 1/3 of their entire city budget focused on policing, we know that is not the smart way and the best way or the right way to achieve safety. For too long the status-quo thinking has been that you get more safety by putting more cops on the street. Well that’s wrong. Because, by the way, if you want to look at upper-middle-class suburban neighbourhoods, they don’t have that patrol car, they don’t have those police walking those streets. But what they do have, they have well-funded schools. What they do have is home ownership, high home ownership rates. What they do have are thriving small businesses. What they do have is access to public-health and mental-health services. So this whole movement is about rightly saying, ‘We need to take a look at these budgets and figure out whether it reflects the right priorities.’”

After her appointment as Biden’s running mate in August, Harris was careful to distance herself from the “defund the police” movement. Her press secretary was quoted as saying, “Joe Biden and Kamala Harris do not support defunding the police, and it is a lie to suggest otherwise.”

Harris’s record on crime, as San Francisco District Attorney and then California Attorney General, is likely to figure significantly in her presidential run.

“I took on perpetrators of all kinds, predators who abused women, fraudsters who ripped off consumers, cheaters who broke the rules for their own game,” Harris said at a rally in Wisconsin on Tuesday.

“So hear me when I say I know Donald Trump’s type.”

Critics, however, say that Harris was a pragmatist, who was tough on crime when it suited her and then made baffling decisions like sparing the killer of policeman Isaac Espinoza from the death penalty.
