Joe Biden Claims he Has Done More for Palestinians than Anyone Else
President Joe Biden claimed in an interview that he has done more for the “Palestinian community” than anyone else.
The comment was made during an interview with host Chris “Speedy” Morman on Complex‘s “360 With Speedy.” During the interview, Biden defended his administration’s response to Israel’s invasion of Gaza and the massive death toll in the region, with current statistics claiming over 38,000 Palestinians dead, the majority of them children.
“By the way, I’m the guy that did more for the Palestinian community than anybody,” said the president. “I’m the guy that opened up all the assets. I’m the guy that made sure that I got the Egyptians to open the border to let goods through, medicine and food.”
“I’m the guy that’s been able to pull together the Arab states to agree to help the Palestinians with food and shelter,” he added. “I mean, I’ve been very supportive of the Palestinians.”
Biden forgot to mention that under his administration, he has approved over $26 billion in military aid for Israel and has consistently supported Israel’s conflict with Hamas in Gaza.
Biden’s claim about supporting Palestinians heavily criticized
The president’s assertion was met with ridicule by supporters of peace in Gaza and Palestinian rights advocates, who stressed that Biden and the White House’s unconditional support for Israel is fueling a genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
“It’s hard to decide whether these comments by Biden were arrogant, blind or deceitful,” said Palestinian-American comedian and activist Amer Zahr. “It seems that he wants to take credit both for enabling the genocide and for letting Palestinians have a little bit of medicine and water and food.”
“Putting aside active United States complicity in the war in Gaza, you’d think someone who had 38,000 Palestinians killed under his tenure would have a bit more humility,” noted Mai El-Sadany, executive director of the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy.
“Biden claiming he’s done the most for Palestinians is like an arsonist taking credit for tossing a splash of water on the fire he’s still fueling,” said Layla Elabed, a Michigan-based organizer calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and the end to all U.S. arms sales to Israel.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations also called Biden’s remarks “tone deaf” and a “deeply disturbing boast … [that] completely ignores the genocidal campaign of mass slaughter, ethnic cleansing and forced starvation that the Israeli government has launched against the Palestinian people with U.S. support.”
The Council also called out the president for lying about denying Israel “offensive weapons” when it has only stopped a shipment of arms to Israel on one occasion, and even then only temporarily, while his administration continues to send military aid to Israel.

Finnish Court Quashes Convictions of Several Men Found Guilty of Raping Intellectually Disabled Woman
The convictions of several men jailed for repeatedly raping a mentally incapacitated woman over a three-year period have been overturned by Finland’s Court of Appeal after the court ruled the woman’s disability did not mean she could not consent.
Seven men, including Samir Jasin Kadir, Alaa Kamil Al-Saadi, Sami Al-Mosawi, and Mohammed Ali Mohammed Mohammed, were handed sentences ranging between 10 months and 2.5 years by the District Court of Pirkanmaa back in May 2022.
The defendants, aged between 23 and 52, were found to have sexually abused the disabled woman multiple times between December 2017 and February 2020 when she was often led by the hand to the defendants’ respective houses and raped.
The case turned on the legal argument of whether the victim’s intellectual disability was obvious enough to be detectable regardless of nationality and cultural background, and whether the defendants, therefore, should have known the victim could not give informed consent.
The lower court upon conviction held that the victim’s disability placed her in parallel with a minor in her inability to consent to sexual intercourse.
It found that the victim’s intellectual disability had been a key factor in the defendants’ desire to have sexual intercourse with the victim due to the ease with which she could be manipulated, thus constituting rape.
The convictions were appealed to the higher court in Turku, which this week quashed all sentences and revoked the compensation order awarded to the victim of €16,000 payable by the defendants.
The Court of Appeal accepted the appellants’ argument that they could not reasonably have been expected to detect the intellectual disability of the woman, ruling that people’s sexual behaviors are unique and diverse.
“Criminal law regulation is therefore not justified in aiming to maintain or achieve, for example, decency or uniform gender behavior. It must also be taken into account that different people’s sexual lives can be very different,” the Court of Appeal explained.
A medical report provided by the woman’s doctor to the court detailed how she was at an increased risk of being abused and was hypersensitive to situations where others could influence her actions almost entirely; however, the appellate court ruled that intellectual disability alone does not mean that a person is incapable of giving consent to sexual intercourse.
In its judgment, the court said the victim’s medical evaluation could “only be given a small weight when evaluating helplessness or unwillingness due to a helpless state.”
The verdict can still be appealed to the higher Supreme Court before Aug. 27.
John Deere Abandons Woke DEI Corporate Policies Following Backlash from Conservative Activists
Prominent farm and landscaping vehicle company John Deere has abandoned most of its “woke” corporate activities after conservative backlash.
On July 9, conservative filmmaker Robby Starbuck exposed John Deere’s engagement with LGBT activists by recognizing “preferred pronouns,” providing gender identity training and sponsoring a “pride” event for children as young as three in a video posted on X. Starbuck also pointed out John Deere’s total commitment” to the “diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) framework.

Starbuck urged his fans, especially customers and employees of John Deere, to speak out if they believed John Deere’s values didn’t align with theirs. He provided the company’s email and corporate customer service number for those who wanted to voice out their displeasure.
As a response to this backlash, John Deere stressed its commitment to listening to feedback from its customers, employees and other key stakeholders on July 16.
“To best serve our customers and employees, Deere is always listening to feedback and looking for opportunities to improve,” the company said in its official statement. “That’s why we consistently prioritize internal policies that more closely align our business strategy to meet the needs of our customers.”
The company assured the public of discontinuing participation in or support for external social or cultural awareness parades, festivals or events; refocusing Business Resource Groups on professional development, networking, mentoring and talent recruitment efforts exclusively; conducting a company-wide audit to ensure the absence of socially motivated messages in all company-mandated training materials and policies; reaffirming that diversity quotas and pronoun identification are not and have never been company policy.
However, John Deere reiterated its belief in the value of a diverse workforce.
“We fundamentally believe that a diverse workforce enables us to best meet our customers’ needs and because of that we will continue to track and advance the diversity of our organization.”
1792 Exchange exposes more corporations with “woke” policies
John Deere’s case is not isolated.
A nonprofit organization called the 1792 Exchange, which focuses on the dangers of ESG policies, launched a project to raise awareness about corporations that have adopted practices hostile to conservative customers and employees in 2023.
The group’s latest Spotlight Report reviews the policies, practices, and other relevant criteria of over 1,000 companies to assess their likelihood of “canceling a contract or client, or boycotting, divesting or denying services based on views or beliefs.” The report identifies 147 companies as “high risk,” with Justin Haskins, director of the Heartland Institute’s Socialism Research Center, spotlighting 51 egregious examples on Fox News.
He pointed out that numerous large banks are using their financial power to push business customers into adopting climate change policies, even when it necessitates significant changes to their business practices. Specifically, he noted that Bank of America evaluates its vendors based on their commitment to LGBTQ views and has ceased lending to some gun manufacturers. Additionally, the bank has provided funding to Planned Parenthood and the Southern Poverty Law Center, organizations known for their progressive stances.
Transportation companies have not been exempt from scrutiny. The 1792 Exchange identified five large transportation companies – Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and XPO Logistics – as high risk. For instance, American Airlines publicly opposed the Florida Parental Rights in Education Act, and Southwest Airlines fought against state laws aimed at enhancing election integrity by limiting practices like mail-in balloting.
Retail giants have also come under the spotlight. Amazon, Best Buy, Chewy, eBay, Etsy, Home Depot, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Shopify, Target and Walmart are all categorized as high-risk. Examples from the report include Home Depot distributing flyers to employees about confronting various forms of privilege and Target removing books objected to by left-wing activists.
This project seeks to steer public companies in the United States back to a neutral stance on ideological issues, thereby best serving their shareholders and customers with integrity.

Germany: Journalist for Pro-Migrant Spiegel Magazine Complains on X After Being Punched in the Face by 13-year-old Syrian
A journalist for Germany’s left-leaning Spiegel Magazine, known for its pro-migration views and efforts against the anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, stepped in to protect two elderly women near the North Sea coast, which resulted in a 13-year-old Syrian punching him in the face. Now, he is complaining about a lack of consequences for the youth.
Christian Neef is a well-known journalist for the outlet and has been working for many years for Spiegel. However, Neef himself said he “defended two elderly” women in Husum in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, which resulted in consequences.
“Today, I had my own experience with a so-called refugee. In Husum, a Syrian punched me in the face. I had defended two elderly women who asked him to get off the back of a public bench on which they were sitting and not to continue to spit at their feet. The interesting thing: The police told me that it was a 13-year-old Syrian who was well-known in the city and who had been caught over 50 times for theft and violent crimes since the beginning of 2024 alone. Sanctions available: none.”

The post led to widespread mockery on X as a case of a liberal journalist suddenly confronting what tens of thousands experience every year, with violence, sexual assault, and robberies skyrocketing in Germany due to mass immigration.
One X user wrote, “It could be that they learned more in this moment than in their 26 years at Spiegel.
If they’re lucky.”
Another wrote, “Individual case, as always,” with the user referring to the left-liberal tendency to describe the many cases of individual crimes involving migrants as “individual” cases that do not represent migrants as a whole. For many critics of this term, the “individual” cases accumulate into hundreds of thousands of crimes that have affected millions of Germans.

Ex-AfD politician Tatjana Festerling wrote, “Oh well! The Big Thinking people in the Refugees Welcome whining editorial offices need their own ‘experiences’ before they realize that low-trust cultures can never be integrated into high-trust societies. When I explained this in Pegida speeches in 2015, the reaction was ‘Racist!’”
Some users said the problem would only get worse due to a general disregard for German laws from many within the immigrant population, with one writing: “German laws apparently motivate many Muslims not to comply with them. What is going on should actually be called what it is: terror against the native population. And of course, things are not getting any better, quite the opposite. The terror continues until the goal is achieved and dozens of countries have done that.”

While speaking with German newspaper Junge Freiheit in response to what had happened, a police spokesman stated that they were aware of the incident.
“No information will be given about the identity of the suspect, who is still a child. The suspect comes from the district and has already come to the attention of the police due to similar crimes,” said the spokesman, who refused to provide any more details.
As Remix News reported in the past, the issue of underage migrants flagrantly conducting criminal activity in Germany is a major problem, as current laws do not allow for any type of punishment. Just this weekend, an 11-year-old Moroccan migrant leading a youth gang was arrested for over 70 burglaries in and outside Hamburg but will face no jail time. In some cases, even one involving the rape of an 11-year-old girl, the German state has refused to issue jail time because the criminal migrant was under the age of 18.
British Soldier Stabbed Outside Army Base
A British soldier is fighting for his life after being stabbed outside an army base in southeast England on Tuesday evening.
The soldier, who was in full uniform, was stabbed near Brompton Barracks in Gillingham, Kent at around 6 p.m. He was airlifted to hospital and is reportedly in a “serious” condition.
Kent Police said a 24-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They have also not ruled out terrorism as a motive, the Telegraph reports.
A witness told The Times that the attacker pulled up on a moped. “This was with two kitchen knives, about nine to 10 inches long, and there were about seven of us there who witnessed it,” according to the bystander.
“The soldier was in uniform. He works at the barracks, lives in Sally Port Gardens, and was walking home. His wife tried to pull the attacker off.”
The attacker then escaped on the moped.
Another witness who tried to help the soldier told The Sun: “The only person he was targeting was the soldier he attacked.”
“Blood was everywhere as I tried to apply pressure to his wounds until the police arrived,” he added. “When the guy’s wife came out and started trying to pull the guy off he didn’t even try to hurt her.”
Other witnesses said they heard a “blood-curdling scream” as the soldier was attacked. Moments later, the attacker ran his finger across the knife and licked it, one person told The Sun. To date, the known details of the attack are similar to the murder of Lee Rigby, a soldier who was stabbed to death near the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, southeast London, eleven years ago.
The Gillingham attack occurred on the same day that radical Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary was convicted of terrorism offences at a court in London.
Choudary was accused of directing Al-Muhajiroun (ALM), a banned international terror organisation. During his trial, he admitted to officiating at the wedding of one of the killers of Lee Rigby.
“I was there when he [the killer] became Muslim. I officiated at his marriage. I believe then he stopped associating with anyone I know for years before Lee Rigby was killed,” Choudary told the court.
He was also asked why he had described the killing as “famous.” He responded that it had put Woolwich “on the map.”
Choudary was jailed for five years in 2016 for inviting support for Islamic State, but was released just two years later, subject to strict licence conditions, including a ban on using the internet. However, within three weeks of those terms lapsing in July 2021, he was already putting out messages on social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram.
Choudary then gave more than 40 lectures to a spin-off of ALM in New York, attracting a global audience. He was arrested again last July following a joint investigation by MI5, Scotland Yard, the NYPD, and Canadian police.
Experts are incredulous that Choudary was allowed any internet access after his release, given his long history of radicalising followers.
Alan Mendoza, executive director of the Henry Jackson Society, told the Mail: “He needed to have a different class of conditions and surveillance to keep him from reoffending and trying to radicalise the next generation. The reality was it was no surprise—anyone could have predicted that this is exactly what Choudary would do as soon as he had the means.”
