Child forcibly kissed on mouth by 35-year-old Afghan man, witnesses say

A male migrant from Afghanistan was arrested for an alleged sex attack on a 7-year-old girl near the Eiffel Tower in France over the weekend, according to reports.

The disturbing incident unfolded during the overnight hours between Saturday and Sunday in Paris.

Just before 1 a.m., police received a call from a man who said his daughter had been sexually assaulted in Les Jardins du Trocadéro, a large park that lies near the Eiffel Tower.

“He reported that a stranger, in a drunken state, had just used force to kiss his child on the mouth,” a law enforcement source told Le Parisien.

Responding officers found the father holding the suspect down when they arrived at the scene.

A witness provided a statement corroborating the father’s claim.

The suspect was taken into custody and identified as a 35-year-old Afghan national, although his immigration status is unclear.

The family was expected to file a formal complaint for sexual assault of a victim under the age of 15 an ongoing investigation.

Multiple sex attacks have taken place in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower in the past year.

In October, a 23-year-old policewoman from England was raped at knifepoint on the Champ-de-Mars.

In July, a young Mexican woman on holiday in France was gang-raped by five suspects on the Champ-de-Mars.

A Brazilian tourist was raped and her sister sexually assaulted by two men in February, and an attempted rape of a German woman was foiled when a Good Samaritan intervened.

Renowned comic comes out swinging against transgenderism despite prior LGBTQ+ backlash.

Comedian Dave Chappelle’s new comedy special “The Dreamer” features the stand-up comic making a point about transgenderism with an anecdote about meeting actor Jim Carrey.

In a clip going viral on social media, Chappelle discusses how late comedian Norm McDonald gave him an opportunity to meet Carrey just as the Ace Ventura star was method acting in preparation for his role as performance artist Andy Kaufman in the 1999 biopic, Man On The Moon.

Chappelle notes he was “disappointed” in meeting Carrey, as the entire time he had to address him as “Andy” and was required to “pretend” he was really the late entertainer.

“I was very disappointed because I wanted to meet Jim Carrey and I had to pretend he was Andy Kaufman all afternoon. It was clearly Jim Carrey. I could look at him and clearly see it was Jim Carrey,” Chappelle says, adding the punchline, “I say all that to say … that’s how trans people make me feel.”

Chappelle’s jokes on the subject come after his 2021 Netflix special The Closer drew criticism and calls from the left to be cancelled over jokes about the transgender ideology.

He touches on his previous trans controversy in his latest special, saying:

“If you guys came here to this show tonight thinking that I’m going to make fun of those people again, you’ve come to the wrong show. I’m not fucking with those people anymore. It wasn’t worth the trouble. I ain’t saying shit about them. Maybe three or four times tonight, but that’s it. I’m tired of talking about them. And you want to know why I’m tired of talking about them? Because these people acted like I needed them to be funny. Well, that’s ridiculous. I don’t need you. I got a whole new angle coming. You guys will never see this shit coming. I ain’t doing trans jokes no more.”

The comedian went on to joke he would instead focus on “handicapped people” because “they’re not as organized as the gays. And I love punching down.”

He continued: “To be honest with you, I’ve been trying to repair my relationship with the transgender community cause I don’t want them to think that I don’t like them. You know how I’ve been repairing it? I wrote a play. I did. Cause I know that gays love plays. It’s a very sad play, but it’s moving. It’s about a Black transgender woman whose pronoun is, sadly, n***a. It’s a tear-jerker. At the end of the play she dies of loneliness cause white liberals don’t know how to speak to her. It’s sad.”

59-year-old producer blasts authorities for allowing rise of “hooliganism on our streets”

Actor and producer Ian Ziering fought back after a violent mob on “mini bikes” surrounded his vehicle with his young daughter inside in Los Angeles over the weekend, according to reports.

The harrowing incident unfolded in broad daylight on Sunday on Hollywood Boulevard.

The former star of “Beverly Hills, 90210” was in traffic on the iconic street with his 12-year-old daughter Mia in the car when they encountered a hostile gang on two-wheelers, Page Six reports.

Videos of an ensuing altercation have been circulating on social media.

A rider can be seen blocking Ziering’s SUV while revving their engine and staring menacingly through the windshield.

Ziering jumps out of his vehicle as the rider appears to step off their bike in preparation for an altercation, at which point Ziering shoves them and pandemonium breaks out.

Another hooligan crashes his own bike into Ziering as the actor fights off around half-a-dozen assailants.

Ziering manages to escape from the violent group by running to the opposite sidewalk.

At no point during the melee can any bystanders be seen coming to Ziering’s defense.

Photos obtained by TMZ show the actor consoling his daughter after the attack.

In a post on Instagram on Monday, Ziering offered his account of what transpired and blasted authorities for allowing criminals to terrorize law-abiding citizens.

Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes. While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation. In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself.

I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unscathed, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace.

This situation highlights a larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior. As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from authorities seems insufficient.

I have always been an advocate for standing up against intimidation and misconduct, and this incident reinforces my belief in the importance of personal and community safety. We must address the underlying issues that lead to such disruptive behavior and ensure that our streets are safe for everyone. I urge city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such lawlessness and provide the necessary resources to prevent future occurrences.

After weeks of mounting evidence that Harvard President Claudine Gay essentially plagiarized her way to the top, Gay announced on Tuesday that she is resigning Tuesday afternoon, the Harvard Crimson reports.

Gay’s resignation — just six months and two days into the presidency — comes amid growing allegations of plagiarism and lasting doubts over her ability to respond to antisemitism on campus after her disastrous congressional testimony Dec. 5.

Gay weathered scandal after scandal over her brief tenure, facing national backlash for her administration’s response to Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack and allegations of plagiarism in her scholarly work.

The resignation makes Gay’s tenure the shortest in the history of the university. Gay is expected to make a statement about the decision, which came three weeks after the Harvard Corporation – the university’s highest governing body – announced unanimous support for Gay after “extensive deliberations.”

Which leaves just one question; how did Gay manage to write something without obvious plagiarism?

Scandal plagued Harvard President Claudine Gay has been hit with an additional six allegations of plagiarism Monday night in a complaint filed with the university, the Washington Free Beacon‘s Aaron Sibarium reports.

This brings the number of allegations against Gay to just under 50 – with seven of Gay’s 17 published works already impacted by the scandal, and now, an eighth!

In a 2001 article, Gay lifts nearly half a page of material verbatim from another scholar, David Canon, a political science professor at the University of Wisconsin.  

That article, “The Effect of Minority Districts and Minority Representation on Political Participation in California,” includes some of the most extreme and clear-cut cases of plagiarism yet. At one point, Gay borrows four sentences from Canon’s 1999 book, Race, Redistricting, and Representation: The Unintended Consequences of Black Majority Districts, without quotation marks and with only minor semantic tweaks. She does not cite Canon anywhere in or near the passage, though he does appear in the bibliography. -Free Beacon

Canon, pledging fealty, insisted that Gay had done nothing wrong.

“I am not at all concerned about the passages,” he told the Beacon. “This isn’t even close to an example of academic plagiarism.“

Oh really?

As journalist Paul Thacker of The Disinformation Chronicle reports, students are held to a much higher standard than Claudine Gay and other academics caught plagiarizing.

In just one example, Thacker found a Yale professor who literally sighed their name to a GalaxoSmithKline paper to promote Paxil.

To ensure the professor erased the PR company’s writing involvement, STI prompted her on the cover page: “STI Cover Page – To be removed before submission.”
