Treason Lobby’s Newest ‘It Girl’ Is a Michigan Congress Member
Congresswoman Hillary Scholten (D-MI) is clout-chasing and virtue-signaling on the backs of unaccompanied alien children (UAC).
She recently announced on X: “I introduced the Immigration Court Efficiency and Children’s Court Act with @RepDanGoldman to protect migrant children as they navigate our complex immigration system. This week, I joined @SupportKIND and colleagues to share about the bill and our continued work to protect kids.”
Working to protect kids is a goal upon which compassionate Americans can agree.
But aiding and abetting the trafficking of minors – not so much.
A little background . . .
Scholten, before she was elected to the U.S. Congress in 2022, was a staff attorney, from 2017 to 2019, for the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center (MIRC), an enforcement-unfriendly outfit.
For instance, MIRC’s Facebook post about MI Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a reliable America Laster with a rating of F- on the NumbersUSA scorecard, was fluffy and complimentary. Soft on crime, Tlaib is opposed to strengthening border security, interior enforcement, and reducing amnesty enticements.
Same for Scholten who has a score of F on the report card. She has complained of the “chaos” in immigration policy that ensued when Donald J. Trump became President. Because why? He wanted to build a wall, deport foreign rapists, and hire more U.S. Border Patrol personnel?
Helping migrants, young or old, avoid problems with la migra ain’t bad, pay-wise. The Washington Free Beacon revealed that Scholten, who also worked as senior counsel for Miller Johnson, netted more than $200,000 in 2021. This financial tidbit is relevant because, in a political ad, Scholten said that her family (two sons, college professor husband) were making ends meet in tough economic times by repairing her son’s sandals with duct tape and cutting back on air conditioning [insert laughing emoji].
Meanwhile, Scholten’s bipartisan federal legislation would institutionalize a specialized child-friendly court within the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) “focused on the adjudication of unaccompanied children’s removal proceedings.” The Children’s Court would require specific training for judges in “child trafficking” and “trauma-informed practice.”
The bill also requires that this special court “utilize child-appropriate procedures,” as well as coordinate with legal services organizations. The legislation, which claims to address the immigration court backlog, is supported by 40 organizations like KIND (Kids in Need of Defense), whose signage served as the backdrop to Scholten’s recent press conference with Rep. Dan Goldman, a New York Democrat.

The NGO/non-profit is on the dole, bigly. KIND received nearly 40 million bucks in government grants for FY 2022 and trends WOKE, fancy. KIND’s president, Wendy Alice Young, who was affiliated with the National Council of La Raza and the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, is compensated to the tune of $529,256.
KIND has hosted a gala at the posh American Museum of Natural History in New York City and was founded by the Microsoft Corporation and actress Angelina Jolie to “address the gap in legal services for unaccompanied children.”
Obviously not your humble, on-a-shoestring-budget non-profit.

Former immigration judge, Matt O’Brien, Director of Investigations for the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI), sees through the dazzlingly misleading spin.
“Our immigration system isn’t broken, the moral compasses of the people who run it are malfunctioning. Any law, policy, or institution that encourages foreign nationals to send their children to the U.S. alone is irresponsible and unethical. And a specialized immigration court for children is just going to become another inefficient federal bureaucracy looking for reasons to perpetuate itself and suck up already scarce resources,” O’Brien told Border Hawk.
“Rather than reduce backlogs, it more than likely would become a pipeline used by the anti-borders contingent to create anchor children so entire illegal alien families can remain in the U.S. in violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act. We haven’t needed a children’s immigration court the entire time the Executive Office for Immigration Review has been in existence, and we don’t need one now. We need Executive Branch officials to begin honoring their oaths of office and start enforcing the laws already on the books.”
Hillary Scholten, however, won’t stop advocating for unnecessary, expensive kiddie courts because it’s a tool for chain migration that will likely produce future Democrat voters. And she unabashedly offers banal soundbites while doing so: “As a mom, I’ll never stop fighting for these vulnerable kids.”
This from the woman whose son’s duct-taped sandals were plastered all over the internet and whose votes for open borders might mean the death of a little migrant girl or two.

UT Austin: Demonstrators Equipped With ‘Guns, Rocks, Bricks, Steel-Enforced Wood Planks, Mallets & Chains’
The University of Texas at Austin issued a press release Tuesday explaining protesters disrupting classes on Monday were caught carrying a variety of weapons including guns, rocks, bricks and much more.
The notice said 45 of 79 demonstrators arrested by police had “no affiliation” with the university, noting, “These numbers validate our concern that much of the disruption on campus over the past week has been orchestrated by people from outside the University, including groups with ties to escalating protests at other universities around the country.”
“To date, from protesters, weapons have been confiscated in the form of guns, buckets of large rocks, bricks, steel enforced wood planks, mallets, and chains. Staff have been physically assaulted and threatened, and police have been headbutted and hit with horse excrement, while their police cars have had tires slashed with knives. This is calculated, intentional and, we believe, orchestrated and led by those outside our University community.”
The school’s statement concluded by promising to “safeguard the free speech and assembly rights of everyone on our campus,” at the same time as keeping students safe as they prepare for finals this week.

Trump to Campaign in Battleground States, Amid Break from Biden Sham Trials
Former President Donald Trump will make a campaign stop in Waukesha, Wisconsin, amid a brief reprieve from his sham criminal proceedings in New York.
“This will be Trump’s second visit to Wisconsin this year,” reports Milwaukee NBC affiliate WTMJ. “He plans to ‘contrast the peace, prosperity and security’ of his first term with what his campaign calls Joe Biden’s failed presidency.”

Non-Citizens Receiving Voter Registration Forms in South Carolina, State Rep Claims
Non-citizen “refugees” are apparently receiving voter registration forms despite being ineligible to vote, according to South Carolina Rep. Adam Morgan (R-District 20).
Morgan explained Tuesday that a “refugee” sent him one of the voter registration forms she had received from the Social Security Office.
“Is the Federal Gov giving voter registration forms to non-citizens? Yes, at least in SC. A refugee sent us this form that was given to her in a packet at the Social Security Office in Spartanburg,” Morgan wrote on X.

After contacting the relevant agencies over the matter, Morgan determined the voter registration forms were distributed to non-citizens by the state government, specifically the S.C. Medicaid Office.
“We are set to pass a bill prohibiting non-citizens from voting in S.C. elections! Stop this nonsense in your state!” Morgan added.
UPDATE: after calling the agencies and all parties involved, it appears the form was given by the STATE gov (SC Medicaid Office). The refugee confused the offices.

This comes on top of Infowars reporting that the Wisconsin Department of Transportation website provides a step-by-step guide for anyone without documentation of any kind to apply for an ID that can be used to vote in the 2024 election.
The petition process explains that to obtain an ID, you must go to the DMV and provide either a birth certificate, a social security or Medicaid card, a utility or government bill, or proof of U.S. citizenship.
However, it goes on to say that “if you don’t have all or any of these, you can still get an ID for voting” by simply filling out two forms.
After that, “you will get a photo ID document in the mail that you can use in time for voting.”

Chaos Erupts At UCLA After Pro-Gaza Activists Refuse Entry To Non-Allied Students
It’s like the Seattle CHAZ encampment all over again. Far-left activists have declared the UCLA campus a “liberated zone” and are refusing entry for many students not affiliated with the pro-Gaza protests.
They have erected barriers and placed guards, creating makeshift checkpoints which require a special wrist band in order to gain passage.
Wristbands are being used to identify anti-Israel students at @UCLA so that they are allowed to enter Royce Quad, Royce Hall, and Powell Library.

In other words, if you aren’t an “ally” then you don’t get to attend classes, or, if you’re lucky you are allowed to take a longer route around the barricades. Keep in mind, this is not a protected form of protest or free speech, which explains why many college campuses have chosen to have protesters removed by police. UCLA so far appears to be supporting the activists and has allowed them to take control.

The barricades and the selective barring of certain students has led to predictable anger. Various groups are now engaging protesters and have triggered what can only be described as an all out brawl. The use of weapons has been common and firecrackers have even been fired at activist tents. Whether or not the fighting is between pro-Gaza and pro-Israel groups is not yet clear, and the conflict may simply be a matter of students enraged by the general blockade. No substantial police presence is visible so far.

Though considerable criticism has been aimed at the police response to similar encampments at universities in other states and no doubt some of those actions will be reviewed in civil courts, there has been very little sympathy from the general public when it comes to woke protesters. After years of cancel culture and the threat of Antifa and BLM mobs, we are now seeing the same exact people pummeled by law enforcement and kicked out of the tent cities choking college grounds. Questions of free speech fall by the wayside when activists try to physically block other students from exercising their right to access public property and educational facilities.
A police response to clear UCLA of protesters is widely expected within the next couple of days.
Leftists have a tendency to hijack the causes of other movements as a way to elevate their own agendas, and this is exactly what is happening in the west with the Gaza issue. It is rather revealing that these protesters aren’t amassing on Joe Biden’s doorstep or the halls of Congress. The people most directly responsible for the funding of Israel for some reason get a pass while US colleges with no power to change anything in the Middle East are overrun.
Is this simply a matter of what is easy? Or, is there another motive at play? Is this about speaking out about Gaza, or is it about radicalizing an ever growing mob that can be manipulated by progressive gatekeepers, just as we witnessed with the BLM riots?
