Celebrity Paris Hilton Takes Stand Against Child Abusers

‘I really hope this is a lesson to people out there, that if you are abusing children, I will find out. I will find you. I will come with my huge spotlight and shine it on wherever you are.’

Hilton Hotels heiress Paris Hilton says she’s continuing her work to save children from abuse, following arrests at a school for troubled teenagers in Jamaica.

“I have some great news, an update from Jamaica. Five of the employees from Atlantis Leadership Academy have been arrested for abusing children,” Hilton, 43, declared in a TikTok video earlier this month. “I hope this really sets a precedent that if abuse happens arrests will be made.”

Echoing Liam Neeson’s character in Taken, Hilton went on to say, “I really hope this is a lesson to people out there, that if you are abusing children, I will find out. I will find you. I will come with my huge spotlight and shine it on wherever you are. Because people are not going to get away with this anymore. Enough is enough and it has to stop.”

Hilton went on to reassure victims of child abuse that a massive community of survivors exists and she’s working to help expose their plights.

“And I hope you all know we have a huge community out there. And survivors, we believe you,” Hilton said. “I know from personal experience, of being in these places and how they operate. I have spoken to thousands of survivors. Everyone has the same story. This needs to stop. This is been happening for decades and people are just getting away with it. Not anymore.”

The hotel heiress’s message follows the arrests of five men at the Atlantis Leadership Academy in Treasure Beach, Jamaica, after Jamaican CPS determined eight boys attending the school were abused by staff members.

Hilton first came forward about her own abuse in 2020 when she revealed she’d been subjected to physical, psychological and emotional abuse while attending the Provo Canyon School teen treatment facility in Utah in the late 90s.

She’s since claimed she was subjected to nonconsensual “cervical exams” and other forms of physical and sexual abuse.

“This wasn’t even a doctor,” Hilton told the New York Times in 2022. “It was with a couple different staff members where they would lay us on the table and put their fingers inside of us. I don’t even know what they were doing, but it was definitely not a doctor, and it was really scary.”

“It was really scary, and it’s something that I really had blocked out for many years but it’s coming back all the time now, and I think about it,” she added. “And now, looking back as an adult, that was definitely sexual abuse.”

Watch: Australian Senator Demands Elon Musk Be ‘Jailed’ For Allowing ‘Misinformation’ on X

Separately, Australian PM calls Musk “arrogant billionaire who thinks he’s above the law” for refusing to obey demands to globally censor video of bishop getting stabbed by Islamist on the X platform.

Australian Senator Jacqui Lambie called for Elon Musk to be jailed for allowing footage of a priest being stabbed by a radical Islamist to be shared freely on the X platform.

“Elon Musk has no social conscience, or conscience whatsoever,” Lambie said Monday while speaking on ABC RN, adding it was “absolutely disgusting behaviour” to allow the graphic content to be posted on X.

Australian Senator Jacqui Lambie says Elon Musk needs to be jailed because he’s allowing too much free speech on X.

“Quite frankly the bloke should be jailed, and the sooner we can bring laws in and do something about this game playing with our social media the better off we’re… pic.twitter.com/Nk5TBoYJx1

“And quite frankly the bloke should be jailed, and the sooner that we can bring rules in or do something about this sort of game playing with our social media, the better off we’re going to be,” Lambie said.

She added, “But quite frankly, the power that that man has because of that platform that he’s on, it’s got to stop. It has absolutely got to stop. But leaving that out for our kids to see, for people that were family and friends out there and just letting that run on there, once again, that bloke has no conscience. He’s an absolute friggin’ disgrace, and there’s nothing else to say about Elon Musk.”

She reiterated her sentiment on Sky News Australia on Tuesday, saying, “Someone like that should be in jail and the key be thrown away.”

The feud between Australia’s tyrannical lawmakers and Musk began after an Assyrian Orthodox bishop in Sydney was stabbed by an Islamist during a livestreamed sermon last week.

The country’s social media regulator then ordered Musk’s platform to remove content showing the stabbing of the priest or face a daily fine of $500,000.

But X and Musk have refused to comply, arguing that Australia’s regulators don’t have the power to determine what content can be shown in other countries.

From Fortune:

Following the incident, the eSafety Commission ordered social media platforms to remove content related to the attack.

In a post on Saturday, X said it complied with the demand to remove “certain posts” in Australia, in a statement posted to the social media platform. Yet it also argued that the order was “not within the scope of Australian law,” and that it would file a legal challenge.

In that same post, X claimed that the eSafety Commission demanded the social media platform take down content for all users globally, or face daily fines of 785,000 Australian dollars ($506,000).

On Monday, an Australian court upheld the global ban until Wednesday, at which point the court would consider making the ban permanent. During the hearing, Commission lawyers argued that Australia-based users could still use virtual private networks to see the posts.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Monday called Musk an “arrogant billionaire who thinks he’s above the law” for refusing to take down the video and “a bloke who’s chosen ego and showing violence over common sense.”

“I think that Australians will shake their head when they think that this billionaire is prepared to go to court, fighting for the right to sow division and to show violent videos, which are very distressing,” Albanese told Sky News.

NEW: Australian Prime Minister GOING AFTER Elon Musk, accidentally admits ? platform is the only truthful one.

Musk responded to the PM’s remarks, saying, “No president, prime minister or judge has authority over all of Earth! This platform adheres to the laws of countries in those countries, but it would be improper to extend one country’s rulings to other countries. If he want to censor things in other countries, he should bring a legal action to bear in those countries.”

As for Senator Jacqui Lambie, she deleted her X account to boycott the platform and encouraged others to do the same.

NYC Squatter Finally Arrested After Viral Standoff with Homeowner

adminApr 23, 20243 min read
Queens homeowner was initially arrested for changing locks after squatter Brian Rodriguez occupied her home.

A squatter who had a homeowner arrested in NYC last month has been arrested and faced a judge in Queens County Criminal Court on Thursday.

Prosecutors are charging Brian Rodriguez with burglary, grand larceny, and other crimes and he faces up to 15 years if convicted.

“Criminal charges will be pursued when you unlawfully occupy someone else’s home,” said Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz.

Rodriguez last month invaded and occupied the $1 million home of Queens homeowner Adele Andaloro in the middle of the night on Feb. 6 and refused to leave. She was in the process of selling the property she had inherited from her mother.

After Andaloro tried changing the locks of her home to drive out the squatter, Rodriguez called the police and had her arrested after a tense standoff, which was captured on video.

“In New York, squatters have rights after 30 days. It’s against the law for homeowners to change the locks, remove their belongings or shut off the utilities. It’s handled as a civil court matter in the state, so police can’t remove squatters,” ABC News 7 reported.

The absurd nature of the incident quickly gave the story international attention and prompted fierce political backlash.

“I’m really fearful that these people are going to get away with stealing my home,” Andaloro told Eyewitness News at the time.

“It’s not fair that I, the homeowner, [have] to be going through this,” she added.

The unlawful eviction charge against Andaloro was eventually dropped and the Queens DA began investigating Rodriguez.

“You can’t walk in when it’s not yours and claim they have a right to be there,” said DA Katz. “I thank the media for all the attention that they have given to this story and for being here today because I do think it’s an important message to send.”

But Andaloro’s home is still occupied: it was later discovered that Rodriguez had been renting out rooms of the home to other people, so Andaloro may need to take them to court to evict them.

In the wake of the squatting crisis that’s begun to plague New York, state lawmakers filed four state laws that would close the loopholes that the squatters have exploited to occupy homes, namely the rule that allows squatters to stay after living in the home for at least 30 days.
