Democrat Gov. Orders National Guard To Inspect Bags In NYC Subways As Crime Rises
The unelected Democrat Governor of New York, Kathy Hochul, announced on Wednesday she’ll be deploying hundreds of National Guard troops and police officers to New York City subways to check travelers’ bags.
Hochul will send out 750 guardsmen and 250 state and MTA police officers to inspect bags of passengers due to the city’s rising crime rates.
JUST IN: Violent crime is getting so bad in New York City subways that Gov. Kathy Hochul is deploying 1,000 total National Guardsmen, state police & MTA police to patrol them.

She said, “I’m redeploying nearly 1,000 members of the New York State Police, MTA Police and MTA National Guard to conduct bag checks in the city’s busiest transits. You’ll start seeing them at the tables making sure that weapons are not being brought in working in concert with our New York State Police as well as our NYPD.”
“No one heading to their job or to visit family or to go to a doctor’s appointment should worry that the person sitting next to them possesses a deadly weapon. They shouldn’t worry about whether someone’s going to brandish a knife or a gun,” the governor added.
Of course, liberal policies like being a “sanctuary city” and letting criminals loose without bail are causing a hike in crime, not law-abiding citizens carrying guns or knives.
Popular social media account ALX pointed out the left freaked out when Donald Trump threatened to send out the National Guard during the 2020 George Floyd BLM riots.

Watch: KJP Refuses To Say Whether Biden Will Debate Trump
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre repeatedly declined to answer whether Joe Biden will debate presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 election.
When asked Wednesday by Fox News reporter Peter Doocy during a White House press briefing if Biden will debate Trump, Jean-Pierre only answered: “That’s something for the campaign to speak to.”

Doocy reminded Jean-Pierre that Biden once declared he “can hardly wait to debate” Trump, and asked if Biden plans to stick with that conviction.
“I’m gonna sound like a broken record — you should reach out to the campaign,” she said again.
Doocy then asked, given recent polling showing voters have deep concerns about Biden’s physical and mental fitness, whether Biden’s refusal to participate in a debate would exacerbate those concerns.
Jean-Pierre defended Biden’s advanced age and said the American people could judge Biden’s performance at tomorrow’s State of the Union address.
“What I can say about that is — not talking about the debate, that’s something his campaign can speak to, not gonna speak about that — to your question about age, I think I sorta answered for that, I think, you know, you’re gonna see the State of the Union tomorrow, you’re gonna hear the president lay out his plans, you’re gonna hear the president, a president who has had a successful three years of progress — still a lot more work to be done — but progress nonetheless,” she said.
Jean-Pierre also insisted that 81-year-old Biden has done more in three years than most presidents have accomplished in two terms.
“This is also a president that has gotten done more in the last three years than most presidents have in their two terms! That is what we’ve seen from the data!” she argued.

Recent polls bear out the opposite sentiment.
The majority of American voters think Biden is too old, feeble, and incompetent to carry out his duties as president.
Meanwhile, former President Trump on Truth Social Wednesday called for a debate with Biden “anytime, anywhere anyplace” because it’s “for the good of the country.”
“It is important, for the Good of our Country, that Joe Biden and I Debate Issues that are so vital to America, and the American People. Therefore, I am calling for Debates, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE! The Debates can be run by the Corrupt DNC, or their Subsidiary, the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD). I look forward to receiving a response. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” he wrote.

California Dooms Workers and Congress Kicks the Can Down the Road
Peter recently appeared on OAN’s Real America with Dan Ball to discuss the minimum wage, government spending, and inflation.
He first points out the blatant corruption of the California state government, which recently passed a $20 minimum wage for all fast-food restaurants except those that bake their own bread. The state’s governor, Gavin Newsom, has received several large campaign donations from the owner of many Panera Bread franchises in California, causing Newsom’s critics to question the motives of such an exception. Peter also points out that, under Newsom’s logic, such an exemption will actually hurt Panera’s employees. If minimum wages are so helpful to workers, why exempt Panera at all?
Peter also touches on Congress’s recent spending resolution, which simply pushes any major decision further down the debt-strewn road. Peter argues that the markets still don’t realize how bad this problem truly is:
“They still expect inflation to come down just because the Fed raised rates to 5%. That’s not gonna do it, because the whole time the Fed was supposedly fighting inflation, the government was creating it! We have an inflationary fiscal policy that offset whatever Powell did.”
Government and household debt continues to climb, consumption of durable goods keeps falling, and persistent inflation still hounds the United States. Meanwhile, gold climbed back over $2100, showing its resilience in an inflationary economy.

“Swamp Omnibus”: Lobbyists Get Millions For LGBTQ Sex Parties & Electronic Cattle Tracking
As a partial government shutdown looms, the House Freedom Caucus has called on Republicans to oppose the ‘Swamp Omnibus’ bill, criticizing it for containing a ridiculous amount of pork. This government funding package is designed to prevent a partial shutdown set for Friday.

“The House Freedom Caucus opposes the $1.65 trillion omnibus spending bill, which will be decided in two halves, the first being brought to the floor this week under suspension of the rules,” Freedom Caucus wrote in a statement.
The group continued: “Even in the face of $34.4 trillion in national debt, the omnibus will bust the bipartisan spending caps signed into law less than a year ago and is loaded with hundreds of pages of earmarks worth billions.”

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) coined the new funding package the “Swamp Omnibus.” It was proposed on Sunday, ahead of Friday’s deadline, to avoid a partial government shutdown.
“In the #SwampOmnibus, the [House GOP] SURRENDERS key demands passed in House [appropriations] bills. “This means MORE ILLEGALS, LESS FREEDOM, & we’ve yet to see the bill that funds Radical Progressive Democrats’ mass-release policies & NGO’s behind it,” Roy wrote on X.
He continued: “The #SwampOmnibus comes in the context of Congress blowing past BIPARTISAN SPENDING CAPS enacted last year… by $69 BILLION… funding mass-illegal alien releases & radical progressive Democrat-run government $30 billion MORE than Pelosi.”

Despite the lack of earmarks for border security, the funding bill included a “GREEN agenda to limit beef production, and by the corporate meat oligopoly to DOMINATE small ranchers,” Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) wrote on X.

After @libsoftiktok & I exposed it, the earmarks’ sponsor wants to remove it from the bill.
There’s just one problem, it’s stuck in the bill we are voting on this week!?♂️ https://t.co/R28hWWjXbk
And Massie also points out that it appears Republican votes are being bought again…
